As for those who are finding it difficult to activate their accounts through the link sent to their email addresses, I would advise them to login to the email using computer. When you open the mail, click on the "click here" which is a blue highperlink. However, if you don't have access to computer, when you login to your email with your phone, switch to desktop and that will enable you to see the highperlink "click".

That's quite wrong. The Micro-finance bank is at the Town Campus. Uniuyo's main campus is actually the permanent site.

You need to exercise some patience, there is still enough time to do that. Endeavour to keep yourself updated with information in respect to it. Also, when the time comes remember to choose wisely.

You can always call me Andrew and I will be just fine. That said, if you have someone here who can do it for you, that's fine. However, to avoid the story that touches, you can always do it yourself when you arrive for your screening. But make sure you are here on or before the day your screening starts

In respect to accommodation, I don't have any preference between staying off or on campus. Even though I'm currently staying off campus, I would advise you to opt for school's hostel. I was going to stay on campus but was late and couldn't secure a space, so I had to look for accommadation elsewhere.
In the end, everything depends on you. You should know whether you can cope with life in the hostel or not, because the rule here is that students are not allowed to cook in the hostel.

Confused? I don't think my post actually contributed to your being confused because I only stated the OBVIOUS. The school had already advised everyone that didn't see his/her name on the merit list but scored up to 180 to buy supplementary form and supplement for another department, yet you are still waiting for a second list before supplementary list. If the school was going to release a second list, do you think she would ask everyone to buy supplementary form?
Well, if only Uniuyo had released full list of the names of already admitted candidates, you would realise that most of the competitive departments are almost filled up.
Do not be deceived by those competitive departments they listed for supplementary, they will not admit more than 10 candidates into some of them when they release the supplementary list. Perhaps, except Law.
I would advise you to supplement for another good but less competitive department. However, everything boils down on you and your average score.
Hope you make the best decision.

Please, how, where and when can I get acceptance fee receipt? I paid 15k acceptance fee on 1st September, 2014.

I would advise you to guard your teller jealously becuase you will need it to get your receipt. Perhaps, the change of teller to receipt may start from next month till when you start your screening exercise which is probably coming up next year. However, it is advisable to do the change before screening starts, so that nothing will delay you from being screened. Because the earlier you are screened, the earlier you apply for hostel accommodation, the better your chances at securing a good space. Though, that is, if you want to stay on campus.

Congratulations those of you that were admitted in the merit list. This forum was actually our meeting point during 2013/2014 admission process, and by the grace of God, we are already through with our first semester exams.


For those that are yet to be admitted take note, to the best of my knowledge, there was nothing like SECOND list before SUPPLEMENTARY list as at last year and the previous year, though I'm not ruling out the chances of it happening this year because the system could be dynamic sometimes.


So, I enjoin you to avail yourselves this opportunity and supplement for less competitive courses before you start crying wolf and calling Uniuyo names for your inability to secure admission.
I welcome you guys to Uniuyo in advance, and wish you less frustrating screening exercise.

I hail all the gurus in the house. I humbly plead you guys to help me solve these problems. 1.) if x = a(1-cosecD) and y = a(secD + tanD), show that xy² + a²(a² - x ) = 0.

2.) a polynomial p(x) is divided by x² - x and the remainder is A + Bx. Determine the constants Aand B. Detailed explanation would be appreciated.
