@Opezy,am a Civil Engineering student presently in 200 level.In ur Year 1,all Engineering course outline are d same,jst as Tosnat said,u 'll be required 2 do d basic subjects u did in ur secondary skul such as Phy111-general physics 1,Chem 111-general chemistry 1,phy 112-lab practicals,chem 112-lab practical(chem),Gre 111-Engineering drawing,Gst 111-use of english,gst 112-philosophy,Mth 111-General mathematics (4 units), gst 113-comp science,then when u cross 2 200 levels,dats when u begin 2 enter strange waters-i mean concentrate on ur field.bt as 4 dose courses i mentioned,u 'll do dem in ur 2nd semenster as 121,124 n so on with d addition of 1 or 2 courses which r not so difficult.Jst read ur physics,chem n do ur math calc very well.Also prepare 4 engr drawing whether u did Tech drawing in sec skul or not,u will drop it in yr2 as 4 elect elect.bt 4 me in civil engineering n dose in Mechanical,we 'll do it 2 final yr.
