@Op,To be a Class Rep,U hv 2 make a Lot of Sacrificies by Dedicating Urself 2 ur Duties and Putting Odas 1st b4 U..Believe Me ,is a gud tin 2 become a class rep,dats when u want to volunteer or ur course mates voting 4 u...My Advice is dis..Check d capacity(number) of ur coursemates,if they r many(let's say lyk 100 nd above)don't bother 2 bcome 1 cos it will be very stressful 4 u thereby affecting ur grades and concentration,but if they r few,go for it...I was once a Course Rep,had 2 drop it cos of d stress.

Elect/Elect is d best Option,my Guy

My Best Subjects was Technical Drawing(T.D),Geography,Physics & Futher Mathematics..these helped me 2 withstand d stress of Civil Engineering frm Year 1 till nw.

Don't be in a dilemna.If U hv it in ur Mind 2 Study it,go for it,after all it's ur Choice.I cant persuade U 2 choose anoda Course..But it will be Good enough 2 Back it up with Master Degree in Chemical Engineering 2 make way 4 Oppurtunities..

Not being Famous is not d Case..The Reason is Petroleum Engineering is Kinda Narrow if u know what i Mean..It is only limited 2 d Oil Sector Unlike Broad courses lyk Chemical,Civil & Mechanical where u can work both in the Oil sector,Construction nd oda Engineering Firms..It's a good course by d way.

Just go 2 Yabatech,d building is beside d Campus..but since u wrote ur exams last yr,am afraid ur Original Certificate is not yet out.It takes about 3-4 years..If U go dere,they will tell U d same thing..

Lets hope JB Complete this Project in time...

Yes,its Challenging,because U have 2 do a lot of Drawings/Designs plus Series of Calculations..Learning AutoCAD nd ArchiCAD should be ur main goal nw in ur 1st yr or 2nd yr(during ur holidays)..cos in ur 3rd yr,u will need it 2 do a lot of ur designs which will help u to Suceed in ur Career. It will be an added advantage 2 u..cos it will be required in ur CV..Proficiency in Maths, Physics & Technical Drawing is an added advantage.Civil Engineering is one of the lucrative and Versatile Career in Nigeria..Currently in my 4th yr(IT)

Pls can you help us find out why it takes most construction companies so much time to complete our roads, bridges e.t.c is it due economic or professional reasons.

Everything depends on Due Process,bro..Sometimes it is the Fault of the Decision Makers(The Govt) in terms of Delay to release funds needed 2 do the Construction work in time..also d Company/Contractor involved in the Project can also play their part by Using Greedy persons who want their personal gain by Taking d Bulk of d Fund 4 themselves & use d Rest 2 do d Project thereby leading 2 incomplete/Bad construction typical in Many Roads...The Climate,Topography and Natural terrain of d Place can also Cause Delay...But in some Situation,Corruption is the Main Element in the delay of Engineering/Construction Projects.
