Realtord43:Your focus should be on your team's weaknesses compared to theirs not just looking at theirs. I don't recall seeing them score a freekick or from a corner kick but you have Reece James who can score those, and you have tall players like Tosin who are aerial threats during corner kicks. Tbh, those are your best 2 options to score them. You can also try to limit their wing play by being compact & asking Neto/Palmer to double up with Cucu/Reece but that will neutralize your team's own wing play. Let's compare the squads; 1. GK, PSG >> CFC 2. Defense, PSG >> CFC 3. Midfield, PSG > CFC 4. Attack, PSG > CFC You don't have to agree. Just unbiasedly compare the individuals you know would start and ask yourself how they compare. PSG will come out on top overall. They will dominate possession and create overloads using Mendes/Hakimi constantly & both players are better than Cucu/Reece. Better than doesn't mean Cucu/Reece are not good by the way. Remember, you don't have to agree. Just pretend you're not a CFC fan for a second and do this comparative analysis. Your weakest point is your defense especially your CB pairing. Your team has faced giants like LAFC, El Tunis, Flamengo, Benfica, Fluminense and Palmerias. Did all of those teams breach your defense? Did they get to dangerous positions? What will a better team like PSG do with those type of chances? My prediction: PSG will beat CFC 3-0 or 3-1. Remember, it's a prediction. I'm not saying this will DEFINITELY happen. Other people can also predict that Palmer will dribble everybody on the pitch and score and you win 1-0 or that JP will hit a pile driver from half way and you win 1-0. I no sabi do that kain analysis. |
By the way, there's no doubt that Musiala's absence affected Bayern's man-to-man pressing. Gnabry was completely useless in reproducing that same intensity when he came on. Goretzka was the same. Usually, in counter-pressing effectively, every player has to be equally committed and focused. One lazy player can disrupt it. That's why Enrique wanted Mbappé out of the team. CFC fans, do you have players who aren't committed to pressing intensely? What if you start well but lose the intensity by the 2nd half? How would CFC react if they conceded first? Bayern had to push forward even with PSGs red card because they were down 1-0. That's why Dembele's goal was inevitable. Its lazy to just blame Kompany or to ignore each stage of the game. Dembele is another dynamic player who is excellent at 1 v 1s and has recently improved his decision making. You can strategize against a team but many times, dynamic players will have other ideas. Something to consider. |
drisham:What does this mean? |
If RM scored 3 goals in the last 3 mins of yesterday's game, the new narrative would've been how RM almost won PSG 4-3. That's not analysis. That's having a preconceived opinion and using tropes to justify it. I don't take that type of opinion seriously. Aston Villa were down 5-1 (on agg) within 10 mins of the 2nd leg. What were PSG supposed to do? Fire on all cylinders to prove what? Again, you guys are doing the same thing you did when it was Arsenal vs PSG. Ignore PSGs missed chances, Kvara's stonewall PK, Vitinha's missed PK, the fact AFC were down 3-0. Just highlight only AFC's fewer missed chances and the fact they forced PSG to go long (even though that's the best strategy to counter a defensively solid team that are taller & better at 2nd balls). Have you watched PSG w/o Kvara, Dembele and Doué as their starting front 3? Of course they're not the same team. Just taking out Dembele and they lose the gravity he provides where defenders collapse into him which gives Doué & Kvara alot of space to exploit. But you ignore his absence vs Bayern in the 1st 70 mins of the game to overemphasize Bayern's man to man pressing. Make una continue with the emotion-laden hot takes. Sunday no too far again. |
The better team mustn't win 4-0 to prove it. Winning or Finding a way to win is part of being the better team. Before PSG vs Arsenal, a lot of you here were highlighting Arsenal's strengths but ignoring their weaknesses. Same way, you guys were emphasizing PSGs weaknesses and ignoring their strengths. To compare teams adequately, you have to compare their strengths vs strengths and weaknesses vs weaknesses. No team is infallible. There's a way PSG can be got at. But can you prevent them from getting at you too? That's the real poser. |
fredoooooo:During Pep's reign in Barca, every team almost got them - according to people. Before every major game, United will win. RM will win. Bayern will win. Chelsea will win. Then after time has passed, same people say, that was Pep's Barca. Let him do it again. Who could've competed etc. Same thing going on. Nobody will give PSG their flowers until time has passed. |
andrew444:You are smart.

Arsenal were down 3-0 over both legs before their only goal. 3-0 down. |
AirBere:If it didn't dey. It didn't dey. Like an average looking babe, the man is not a 10. |
andrew444:No be wetin I dey talk that time? He's never a 10. He's a second striker. But they said I was hating because he was scoring bicycle kicks. |
Smellingham with a stinker by the way. But he's not Foden so. . . |
Decimated. Desecrated. Eviscerated. Devastated. |

I told you the first casualty in any war is usually the truth. Be patient. The same media will slowly start announcing what Sh*tzrel suffered. People think no military casualties? You'd be shocked soon. The Izreli people are furious with Bibi for taking them where dem no know. Just wait. Tomorrow no far. |

1b. The main site was evacuated. You've admitted it publicly. You asked your mole (the DG of IAEA) to confirm where your opps moved it to. The DG doesn't know. You tried to re-send missiles to the same old site but you realized it was futile. Your sugar Daddy spent $400m on a perfomative operation just to drill 3 holes at the top of a mountain. No radiative leaks. If your own stated objectives were not met, what was the point of picking a fight you couldn't win? That's a mighty strong God of L's we call it L-Gibbor. |
I'm tired of being censored for whatever reasons. So I'll avoid that post and type a new one. Just compare what the stated objectives were vs what the reality is. 1. You wanted to end a nuclear program that didn't end. You wanted to deplete a stockpile you later confessed you didn't know its whereabouts. The only one you severely damaged is used for supplying power to their Pharma industry. And guess what? Production in that industry never ceased for one day. You just committed war crimes for nothing per IAEA reports. That's a huge L. |
You must televise this revolution. Comparing stated "Objectives" to "Objective Realities" Part 3 - Regime Change No words needed. Huge L. Granted, regime change isn't merely about ousting the Ayatollah by the way. It is about installing a stooge who will in return open up the country to the hegemonsters for plunder like Jolani is doing in Syria. So even if an 86 year old man sleeps and doesn't awaken, his already lined-up replacement will probably share the same ideology as his predecessor which will ruin the Imperialists' agenda. You should know an L when you see one. It is the alphabet after K. You don't need to accept these facts but like Ben-Murray Bruce, I just want to make common sense. |
