The “world’s most expensive shoes” have been valued at a staggering $15.1 million USD.

Encrusted with large and extremely rare pink and blue diamonds, plus flawless white diamonds and another 1000 pointer diamonds, the larger jewels alone are worth in excess of $13 million.

The creator, 35-year-old British designer Debbie Wingham, is known for making ultra-pricey record breakers – after shooting to fame with the “Most Expensive Black Diamond Dress” in Dubai five years ago. The shoes will be her fourth “world’s most expensive” showcase, which includes the world’s most expensive cake, which she made in 2015.
The opulent kicks were reportedly commissioned by a family from the United Arab Emirates, who wanted “a unique piece of diamond art for a loved one’s birthday gift,” according to a release from the artist.
“Some people inherit grandma’s brooch, others a portfolio of jewels.” All of the diamonds in the shoes are set in platinum and the zips and the plaque underneath the shoes are solid gold. It took hundreds of man-hours to stitch them together, using 18-carat gold thread. Even the leather coating process was painted in 24-carat gold paint.

The flowers are made from leather, molded into the shape of Arabian jasmines, and also encrusted with diamonds. A rose gold accent was added to give a slight contrast. The gems are set in piped and quilted details, which resemble cake decoration.

This morning I went down to get my trouser amended, prior to going I had about 5,000 naira in the pocket of this said trouser and I totally forgot I had put it in there last night. Fast forward I went to an Hassan multipurpose shop near my street where they amended clothes, shoes and bags and gave the trouser to one to amend whilst I waited.

When he was there I went home and tested the trouser on my body, then I dipped my hand into my pockets and at that moment I remembered I had put some money there last night but lo and Behold there wasn't any money in there anymore. It was crazy as I sped immediately with the trouser still on back to the shop, one arriving back there I couldn't find the man who amended my trouser. I asked his colleagues about him but they said he had left then I complained to them that the cloth he amended for me had some money in it but I couldn't find it anymore. They told me they had seen no money but that he had already left. Dang! This man has claimed sharp on me and zoomed off with my money and I was resigning to fate, he came strolled back to the shop from wherever he went to and I couldn't recognize him but the other hausa men spoke some hausan to him and then told me he's the one.. I told him i had some money in the trouser he amended but after shaping I couldn't find the money...

Love and Behold, he dipped his hand in his pocket and told me he picked it on the floor that it must have fallen while I was removing the cloth from my body after testing his work. He handed back the 5,000 naira to me.
The honesty of this Muslim fella has made my Sunday already and I couldn't help but wonder, how many of we Christians can actually do this. I know certain people who probably would have shared that money amongst themselves the moment they saw it and all connive to say they didn't see it when I had returned to complain.

The clever marketing ploy began when Pawel got his first few greys – and, evidently not one to do things by halves, he decided to shun the salt and pepper look for a snowy white alternative.


His hair has even led to some (admittedly terrible) Internet Detectives questioning his marriage with wife, Magda.
The couple took Instagram by storm together, and because of Pawel’s white hair, it would appear there’s a significant age gap. So much so, some even mistake Magda for Pawel’s daughter.
Just goes to show you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover or a woman on her choice of lover.

While many men baulk at the thought of losing the pigmentation in their hair, this guy is making grey look great – sort of like a snow-capped mountain range.
Just goes to show that absolutely no one need settle for what their mama gave them and pretty much everything you see on social media is an expertly curated lie.
