OneTruePrince: I think you should leave these guys alone. They're just childish and well acting disappointingly. whatever happened to reading the piece and move on if u don't understand them. the fact still remains the nma wouldn't index more than around 3000 medical students in year two despite circa 300,000 applicants every year. and as you've rightly said, many-a-people chooses medicine outta ignorance. |

dareajayi: Hello..., I ain't talking about future here. I'm talking about nepotism. The same trend that has been a bane to our development. Whatever happened to everyone getting admitted via merit. Some guys who far more than merit admission are home, coz no one to aid their case(i have a guy with 328 post ume and 231 ume) yet u see some people with far lesser score getting in coz of they know someone who can "corruptedly smugle their names in. Yet they come online and shout around shamelessly. Leaders of tomorrow indeed A glaring example is someone with 275 admitted into medicine while someone with 285 has got nothing. Rubbish |

Arguing over VC list which in itself signifies an act of nepotism. If u can come online and shamelessly claim you're admitted via "VC" list or waiting for it...., then I weep for my country. 1 Like |

Ghost447: I know a pal in Canada, he had 84 percentiles yet he wasn't admitted despite someone having 75 percentiles was admitted based on a letter of recommendation got from a faculty member of the school. As it is in Nigeria, so it is in the West. Your friend should have come to OAU. if he had met the cut off mark, he would have been admitted. |

christianboy007: I'll be glad if you can tell me, by the spirit, when it's really God's will for us to resume. At least God's will can't be bent by human. Coz, a lot of Christians mix "FATE" with "God's will". Albeit, I appreciate the fact that you're trying to calm us down in that que sera sera. I'm a Christian too, but I don't believe it's God's will for me to waste almost one year of my life. He wouldn't have made me got admission last year then. But then, I agree with you, there's just little we can do. 1 Like |

christianboy007: oga, forget that rubbish "it's God will to resume anytime he wishes" o. Your mates are resuming second semester already, you're saying God's will. Really, religion is the opium of the masses. No wonder Nigerians are complacent with a low-standard of living coz they believe it's God's will for them. |

dareajayi: you can get more info by typing that on Google than I could type here. I hope you understand me. But to give a picture, it involves using physical methods (heat, light, massage, muscle exercise, percussion) in maximising muscular physiological functioning. E.g, a doctor can stop the progress of stroke in a patient, however a physiotherapists bring such patient to a relative optimal functioning of the muscles again. There's also a sub-degree of occupational therapy. The pay is on the same scale as pharmacists. on a lighter note, u fit work in arsenal FC. lol |

dareajayi: No, you can't cross from med rehab to medicine in oau. You can't. it's however a favourable course if u wanna enter into medicine via DE. but, I beg to ask, why crossing. physiotherapy is one damn good course. |

Last year, registration started April 9, they resumed May 2(later shifted to may 17 coz of d strike ). Even then, payment started at around April 4!! last year. |
