Ganta, Liberia – Officials in Liberia have released the first confirmed image of a captured Ebola victim who rose from the dead. The name of the victim has not been released by the WHO, and news of the patient rising from the dead comes only hours after the United States announced its First Ebola victim in Dallas, Texas.The Liberian government is accusing the United States of creating Ebola as a bioweapon to use for future wars. How It May Work
He states how the Ebola virus causes the cell to produce proteins that hide the virus from the immune system, which allows the RNA virus to hide the infected cell by shielding it from view from the immune system.
He adds that the cause of death by this virus is the body’s own immune response to the actual viral infection itself by triggering the immune killer cells to release the cytokines they hold, which is termed a “Cytokine Storm.”
A cytokine storm forces the body into a toxic shock state, and causes small blood clots to form in all arterioles, which is called Disseminated Intravascular Coagulation (DIC).
Since cannabinoids have been shown to prevent Toxic Shock as well as DIC, they could be a viable solution. Of course more testing and research would need to be done on this. Luckily something like cannabis, especially when eaten raw, does not have dangerous side effects and therefore could help in areas where Ebola is actually spreading.

The recent Ebola scare seems to be going viral on the internet. Anything from theories behind how to stop it to theories about it being a bio-weapon. What’s interesting is that (apparently) there are even citizens in West Africa making various claims suggesting that the only ones who’ve fallen ill are the ones who’ve received treatment.

The police have arraigned one Mrs. Bethelyn Falade for allegedly torturing her housemaid with hot water.

PUNCH Metro reports that the 27-year-old woman was said to have poured the hot water on the girl, Chinecherem Sunday, as punishment for her stubbornness.

The police said the hot water inflicted wounds on her chest in the process.

It was gathered that Falade’s act was triggered by her missing laptop which the housemaid said was taken by her brother-in-law, identified simply as Lekan, while she was not around.

The woman faulted Sunday’s explanation, saying that the housemaid ought to have notified her before she inquired of the laptop.

Police said the Abia State-born Falade, in a burst of anger, grabbed a kettle on the gas cooker and poured it on the girl.

It was said that Falade’s neighbours on Church Street, Powerline, in the Ijaiye-Ojokoro area of Lagos, alerted a human rights group to the incident, having sighted the victim’s burnt chest. The group, it was learnt, reported the case to the police who eventually arrested Falade.

Falade appeared before a Magistrate’s Court sitting at Ojokoro in the Ifako-IJaiye area of the state on two counts of maltreatment and assault.
The prosecutor, Lugard Ahonle, said the charges, to which the accused pleaded not guilty, were contrary to and punishable under sections 135 and 171 Vol.44 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State of Nigeria, 2011.

The counts read, “That you, Bethelyn Falade, of Church Street, off Cole Street, Power-line, Ijaiye-Ojokoro, Lagos, in the Ikeja Magisterial District, did unlawfully and indecently maltreat one Chinecherem Sunday, 12 years, by pouring hot water on her body on August 31, 2014 at about 11pm.
“That you, of the above address, in the aforementioned magisterial district, did unlawfully assault one Chinecherem Sunday by constantly beating her up.”

Ojo Madueke
The Ambassador while speaking in a gathering of Nigerians in Canada during an event organized by the Afenifere Renewal Group (ARG) made it known that Yoruba people are the most sophisticated Nigerians.
Mr. Madueke, explained that although his expression contradicts his ”Igboness”, it has been a phenomenon that Nigeria benefits immensely only when the Yoruba are fully involved in governance, adding that as a former officer of the Biafra army, he knew what he was talking about.
However, when the guest lecturer at the event, Professor Jacob Olupona, put it to the Ambassador and former Foreign Minister that why did President Goodluck Jonathan not include any Yoruba in the top seven most important cabinet positions, if truly Yoruba people are of great importance. The former Foreign Minister returned to the podium to explain the sophistication of the Yoruba. He said that the President has all the ethnic groups well represented in his cabinet, but would not talk further on the issue.
Mr. Madueke also explained that the Igbo tribe is eating from the negative outcome of the 1966 coup by Nigerian army officers led by Major Kaduna Nzeogwu which recorded the death of Igbos, not minding the fact that the coup-plotters did not consult with the Igbos before embarking on the killings of certain post-independence leaders.
However, another speaker at the event, Omoyele Sowore, a Sahara Reporters official implored many at the event not to take the Ambassador’s ‘flattering of the Yoruba tribe’ as a compliment. He disabused the minds of many at the event saying that if the former PDP National Secretary’s remarks were more than mere flattery, he and his People’s Democratic Party (PDP), would not spend so much energy and effort to sponsor to power and prominence some of the worst Yorubas.

Mr. Sowore called the attention of the listeners at the gathering to the recent elections in Osun and Ekiti States, where he said that the candidates of the PDP were people with well-documented criminal track records.
It would be recalled that in January 2010, during a UN press conference, in which Mr. Madueke was the then Nigeria’s Foreign Minister, there was a showdown when Mr Sowore as a journalist asked Mr Madueke a question during a press conference at the United Nations in New York. The question which bothered on the Foreign minister not speaking to the ailing President Umaru Yar’Adua for over 60 days, but said said he was getting his instructions from him as he liberally travelled the world.

This is so silly but some of you might want to read it. Ghanaian star and former Sunderland striker Asamoah Gyan has been bizarrely accused of having a hand in the death of his friend, Ghanaian rapper Castro. Some people in Ghana are accusing Gyan of using Castro for human sacrifice ritual.

In July, Theophilus Tagoe, popularly known as Castro, went missing while on holiday with Gyan and other friends. The musician was presumed to have drowned in a jet ski accident, but his body was never found which led to the allegations against the striker, with his family constantly being hounded by Ghanaian press. The football star (pictured left) and his family have denied having a hand in what happened but the accusations are refusing to go away because of the lack of a body.

Johnny Gannon spent thousands arranging a visa for 24-year-old Patrice Chambers so they could live in marital bliss in his council flat in Perth, Scotland.
But as soon as Patrice arrived in Perth, she sent trusting Mr Gannon, 57, out to buy Pot Noodles. When he returned she grabbed her bags and told him she was going.

Heartbroken Mr Gannon, who married Patrice in Jamaica early this year, believes his new wife fled to Bristol to meet a Jamaican boyfriend with whom she had organised the scheme.

He told the Daily Mirror: 'I was looking forward to spending the rest of my life with Patrice but I think she had planned all along to do this.
'My relationship with her wasn’t something I’d done by mail order. I’ve known her for two years and it seemed very much like the real thing to me. She has used me and I feel humiliated.

'I had a vision of happiness laid out. I feel like a bit of a fool.'
Mr Gannon takes regular holidays in Jamaica and met Patrice there two years ago.
A friend set them up on a blind date but despite the 33-year age gap he fell in love with her after their first meeting in a romantic bar in the resort of Treasure Beach.
As the couple watched dophins playing in the water he believed he had found the girl of his dreams.

'She ran a little bar and I'd hang out with her there,' he said. 'She was intelligent and I myself thought she had the potential to be a great life partner.

'Of course I was pinching myself over how lucky I'd been to end up with such a beautiful young woman. But the relationship was getting better over time so I wasn't suspecting any kind of sting operation.'
He heard from a friend that she had a boyfriend back in the UK but when challenged she said it was in the past.
His love for her meant that he trusted her and he continued to see her on trips to Jamaica.

In fact, it was her who first brought up the subject of marriage and a ceremony was organised on one of his trips to the country.
He had paid for her dress and hair on the big day and when he returned to Scotland worked on getting a visa for her.
In the end he sent her £700 for paperwork in Jamaica and even more money when she said it had been stolen.
This year alone he has spent more than £4,000 on her.

A Minna Chief Magistrates’ Court on Thursday ordered the remand of a 55-year-old woman, Fatima Tsaraka for allegedly killing her grandson. The accused it was alleged abducted her grandson, took him to a nearby bush where she and two others slaughtered him, made a meal of his flesh and drank his blood.

Tsaraka, arraigned alongside Amina Mohammed, 65, and Zhitsun Aliyu, 38, is facing a three-count charge of criminal conspiracy, culpable homicide and cannibalism. Continue


The accused were arraigned on Sept. 1, but the prosecutor requested an adjournment to enable police conclude investigation. At the resumed hearing of the case, the Magistrate, Mr Hamidu Bima, ordered the continued detention of the accused pending legal advice from the State Directorate of Public Prosecutions.

Bima subsequently adjourned the case to Sept. 25. Earlier, the Prosecutor, Cpl. Moses Mbaga, had told the court that the victim’s father, Mr Mohammed Doko of Koso Village, Lavun Local Government Area, reported the matter at `A’ Division Police Station, Bida, on Aug. 15.

He said the complainant alleged that the accused abducted the boy, took him to a nearby bush where they slaughtered him, made a meal of his flesh and drank his blood. The prosecutor said the offences contravened Sections 97, 221 and 218 of the penal code.

The accused, who pleaded guilty to the charges, however appealed for leniency and blamed their act on a spell cast on them by witches. (NAN)

Claudio Vieira de Oliveira born with serious physical disabilities never allowed his condition to prevail over the strength of spirit.

The 37-year-old man has his neck folded back on itself, his legs are badly deformed and he can hardly use his hands. As the baby came to this world, it was not warmly welcomed by the medics, who advised his mother to stop feeding him because he would not survive. Maria Jose narrated to The Mirror:
“People started saying ‘the baby is going to die’ because he could barely breathe when he was born. Some people would say: ‘Don’t feed him, he is already dying’. But there’s only happiness now. Claudio is just like any other person – that’s how he was raised in this house. We never tried to fix him and always wanted him to do the normal things everyone else does. That’s why he is so confident. He is not ashamed of walking around in the street – he sings and he dances.”

However the Brazilian not only survived but having overcome the disadvantages associated with his state, graduated as an accountant and became an inspirational public speaker.
Speaking about his life, Claudio does not seem to be the one who complains about the hardships:
“Since I was a child I’ve always liked to keep myself busy and work – I don’t like to depend totally on other people. I do a bit of accounting, research for clients and consulting. “I have learned to turn on the TV, pick up my cell phone, turn on the radio, use the internet, my computer – I do it all by myself.”
Claudio’s determined independence brought its fruits: he successfully finished school and graduated from the State University of Feira de Santana.
At the age of eight Claudio made his first steps, and not metaphorically: before that he had been carried everywhere, and at 8 he stated walking on his knees. So his parents adjusted the house for the boy to be able to move around independently. They changed the floors, positioned his bed, plugs and lights lower, thus he could move by himself, without asking for help.

Claudio, who cannot use a wheelchair because of the unusual shape, told the journalists:
“Throughout my life I was able to adapt my body to the world. Right now, I don’t see myself as being different. I am a normal person. I don’t see things upside-down. This is one of the things I always talk about in my interventions as a public speaker. Nowadays it’s much easier to deal with the public, I’m not afraid of it anymore and I can say that I am a professional, international public speaker and that I receive invitations from all over the world.”
