I was in Main Market yesterday during the inferno to ascertain if the fire reached main market Onitsha from Ochanja. You can't believe that this is the main access road that leads into Main Market Onitsha. This is a market that generates billions if not trillions per year in goods and services. This is the market government generates billions in taxes because This is the biggest market in west Africa if not Africa. Funny enough, this market with more than 30,000 shops has no functional fire service. This is national disaster. Please the whole world should feed your eyes. When Igbos will start now, they will say we don't respect elders.

Ndi Igbo, you don't have leaders. Like Aba, Like Onitsha, Like Enugu, Like Ebonyi, Like Owerri. The story is same everywhere. This is a terrible disaster.

Number 2; the fire that gutted the filling station near DMGS round about that nearly destroyed Kamo Plaza and there was no fire service in sight, why did Obiano not learn his lessons and fire the fire service chiefs?

No 3; the fire that nearly burnt down a house in Fegge and people were using pure water to quench it because of no fire service in sight; who are we to blame for that one two? Fire service chiefs?
