Thanks brother, I have applied for the student discount today via the feedback page. I submitted my passport page, and Visa page including my admission letter. I await their response hopefully in five days.
Nevertheless, I still plan to visit their office (Turkish airlines) tomorrow in Abuja.

I just am scared of travel restriction, that's the reason for the rush. Besides, upon arrival I will do medical screening, and singn some documents in my Research Institute before my official commencement on 1st March.
I am on PhD Scholarship.

You need to do your COVID test at least 72 hours before your flight.

You’re not allowed to bring in any type of food item on board in your luggage... but you’d be allowed two pieces of 23kg of luggage that goes with the cargo; you can put anything as much as you want there except prohibited items up to 23kg for each bags and not more... you can check the website of the airline you’d be using to confirm your baggage and to ensure you’re not carrying prohibited items...

Please for the flight, am to book one way or round trip? One agent I contacted told me I must book round trip for Poland using Turkish airlines. That Turkish airlines don't allow one way payment for student Visa, that only those with residence permit can book one. Abeg clear me before they chop me ooo.

I heard Turkish airlines have discount for students, please how true and can I benefit ?

Thank you for the discussions on this thread. I got my Visa yesterday, so hopefully I should travel soonest. However, I have some questions regarding my travel.

1) Is covid-19 test mandatory for an individual going to Poland? if yes, when should the test be conducted before departure ? I have check the Poland government website (https://www.gov.pl/web/coronavirus/temporary-limitations) regarding current covid-19 guideline in Poland, but I couldn't find the answer there. So those that travel recently could share more light to this.

2) Do they have restriction on particular food item or product during flight and in EU member state. I have checked this website (https://europa.eu/youreurope/citizens/travel/carry/meat-dairy-animal/indexamp_en.htm?__twitter_impression=true), however, I need clear information for guys that have traveled recently.

you wont get a mail from them notifying you of any decision, you just have to proceed to the embassy on the day slated for your collection. You can mail them to enquire if your passport is ready for collection though. But I repeat the embassy will not tell you the outcome of your application until you get the passport to know if it's good or bad

I applied for Visa on 4th January, I was asked to submit three additional documents before 18 January, which I did. My enquiry date is on 4 February, how do I contact them to enquire? Should I wait for a notification/confirmation from them that Visa is ready for collection before proceeding to Embassy?
