The age was never removed, the writers of the gospels did just not find it necessary to include her age in their writings but all evidences indicates she was a mature lady as at the time of her marriage. For instance as at that time she was old enough to travel unaccompanied to visit her cousin Elizabeth(who later gave birth to john the baptist). The bible referred to Elizabeth as her cousin and not her aunt and we know that as at that time Elizabeth had been married for several years without an issue. Now if mary's cousin had been married for several years and from all indications they were within the same age bracket, there was no way Mary would not have been an adult as at the time she conceived Jesus.

However muslims in trying to justify the paedophile and child molesting acts of their 'prophet' have been spreading this vicious speculative lie about the age of Mary when she conceived Jesus and married Joseph.

In all reality all your new testament 'backing' of tithes as been thoroughly refuted as it is contrary to scriptures. It's also quite instructive that the early church established by the apostles neither preached nor collected tithes. Church tithing today is a modern day heresy.
