a nice place to be, i was posted to kano. a very serene environment. kusala dam. i later redeployed sha after my orientation camp to the south coz i wanted to improve on my career. i missed kusala anyway

Don't be scared. When I was deployed to Kano my parents were like what! .They thought I was going to redeploy i said no way!.

All those religious insecurity ish which could be the reason for your fears is just propaganda.Things are not as bad as people down here make it look(talking about Kano alone).The people are generally friendly.Just show respect for the thins they hold dear such as their religion(you don't have to agree with what they do).
Don't put on a snobbish attitude with the people around you(some may not speak English and act crude).


I left Kano but Kano didn't leave me...cost of living is cheaper compared with here.


I f you are not comfortable staying in Kano,you have the chance to redeploy when you get to camp.

Don't be scared gal, I have lived in kano for over 25 years now. Kano is safe, even safer than many state in d South. I actually did my nysc in Anambra state bt got a lot of people who did nysc in kano and don't want leave kano after nysc.
