This guy called 'Rushtec' is a fraud. He is not who i taught he is. All i have received from him is suffering and regret.

I am a Nigerian living in Canada and am building my little house in Nigeria. I contacted this guy called 'Rushtec' here on nairaland to supply and installed my roof, after i might have seen some of the pictures he has posted here online, which he claim is his work. He assured me he was going to give me a good and neat job. He gave me a quotation (see picture below) for supplying and installing 0.45 metcoppo . I am always skeptical doing business online with someone i have not met, but i decided to trust him. bad decision i ever made. I payed him money for the roofing sheet, (about #1.3million), transportation cost (#80,000) which he later requested another #20,000, and part payment for the installation cost.

He sold me 0.4 mm instead of 0.45 mm that i payed for ( this was confirmed by another roofing guy after). His guys came in and did a rush installation for me and left. Now there is leakage everywhere in the house from the poor overlapping they did. I called him to inform this, but he got so upset and blame it on the woodwork. There are tiny holes everywhere in the metcoppo roofing sheet that sold me.

I told him post this review, he told me i should go ahead that his online client is on 5%. Very bad thing to say to a client.

I'm not saying this because I was denied o. Finland is a good country and I would probably be singing her praise if I had got in last year. Even when I got denied sef, my friend in Finland (a citizen) told me not to be too sad that she was surprised I chose Finland out of all the countries in the world sef. I'm only trying to encourage you, the downfall of a man is not the end of his life. With proper planning, you can get into another country with the Finland money and have a good life too. Whatever your decision is, I'll be willing to advise you if you need me. So sorry for this, Please remain calm and plan again. it is not easy to get into any of these countries because their policies are getting stricter daily so there's no sure way of getting any visa or any guarantees of having any good life. All plans na 50/50, so think carefully.

my opinion : carry it along to the embassy but do not include it with the document you would send two weeks b4 your interview.

Bros, na u do yourself o, u should have included the online summary.
What ridwan said is absolutely true.
The online summary should be substituted for the old ole-opi form.
In fact someone who went for interview recently was asked if he submitted application online when the receptionist saw the online summary.
She then asked him one copy each of all other documents he went with except for the manual ole-opi form. She even returned to him the original ole-opi he sent along with his original documents 2weeks prior to his interview.
Their rules have changed, but guess theyve not fully implemented the changes, they treat each applicant's case according to the type of documents presented to them.
Submit online summary, your application gets routed electronically, faster response.
Submit manual ole-opi, your application gets routed manually, slower response.
By the way, from interview to request for supplement to decision for the guy took 9days.

Encountered the same issue. Just upload and submit straight up. They might have been uploaded, trust me. I, in fact, have multiple uploads cos I re-uploaded some docs when they didn't appear.
Worst case scenario, you'll upload as supplementary docs if after submitting, you realise the docs ain't there. You get?

What issue?

I uploaded the documents, click on next page, then clicked back on the attachment page to confirm y documents are intact before I go submit, only for the first item(passport data page) and the last item (other documents) to still indicate no attachements.
Did all kinds of troubleshooting, still no headway.

if one provide the statement of account(s) of depositors (family member/company) to migri, to show that funds were transfer from the depositor to my account, are they (migri) going to check/confirm the depositors account balance? Or is it just for the Finnish immigration to see (evidence) that fund(s) was transfered from the depositor account to mine?

***I'm not too sure if banks are allowed to disclose their customer's account balance to a third party (migri) without their customer's consent/authorisation.***

I have used gt master card in Ghana and Cote D'Ivoire and the exchange was reasonable. But that na cidies and cfa ooooo. The bosses in Europe, pls what is ur take on this.

Hi adex, I just want to comment on the yellow card ish, you can get it on the day of your departure and it's 1k.
As u arrive at the airport that day, go straight to 'port health' to obtain it and plan to spend extra one hour there.

U don't need to worry on that. Once your RP is ready, nothing concern then abt the money again. Even some peeps are here that d Immigration do not ask dem for supplement again. So all what u jst need to do, is to wait for them to grant u ur RP. Once that one is done,the money can be move.
