Learn more about restructuring https://web.facebook.com/RestructureNGR/ |
Okoroawusa:Restructuring is changing the structure of government and giving more resources and responsibilities to States or Region by moving items from the FG Exclusive list. This way developmental policies can be tailor-made for the specific regions rather than forcing a policy that is a way of life for some part of the country on another part that are totally different eg the Cattle Colony - a very innovative policy if your mainstay is livestock but not workable nationwide. The only issue the north have with this is that it might be too sudden and they might be rendered incapacitated to pursue any form of developmental catch up. To solve this, this article about the "Oil Equation" proposed that whilst all natural resources should be controlled by the state/region, the petroleum resources should have Onshore/Offshore Dichotomy where all petroleum resources within 100 or 200 nautical miles belongs to the bordering states while deep sea oil production would be shared to the Economically Disadvantage states for a fixed duration during which they can use the petroleum revenue to pursue a 10 year development plan for self reliance. The reason the north opposed restructuring is because, for some years now, they have been encouraging mass breeding to increase their population for a larger share of the national cake, now these population are not productive and will be a massive burden when free petrodollar from the Niger Delta is no longer coming in More: http://community.vanguardngr.com/forum/topics/restructuring-nigeria-the-ignored-oil-equation?xg_source=activity |
After watching Tunde Bakare on State of the Union Sunday telecast, it dawn on me that most people who make promises outside of Government failed to implement them when in government, not because they purposely renegade on their promises but they came to realize that the structure just doesn't allow them to take initiative We don't need promises of job, anti corruption security etc, we just need to restructure first. Will the North be comfortable to give such a person votes? If no, can he get enough votes elsewhere to be elected?

Last time we heard of colony in Africa, it took tears and blood before the real owners could enjoy peace and equality in their land. Even after that, the colonialist are still calling the shots through multinationals present in their former colony. This is the plan After mapping out the colonies, they will flood the area with women who will be giving birth per second Then they will have wards and federal and state constituency. They will demand for representation in government and gets a commissioner Finally, they will have to a siting governor and an Emir Done deal |
