One quick question for culture historians - does the 'ndi' prefix on a village's name indicate that such village was an aro diaspora settlement?

Could you share a link to the article.

Did you directly copy and paste the article on nairaland ? Probably the anti Spam Bot banned you cause of that.
That has happened to me also.

I have read many of Mr kperogi's article on nairaland, I see no reason why it can be blacklisted as you portray.

I wonder the motive of the controllers of this forum. Last week, I tried to upload an essay written by Farooq Kperogi, that gave deep insight about the trajectory of islam within two prominent ethnic groups in this country - the Hausa and the Yoruba. To my dismay, I was banned twice. The second instance was for 24hrs or so. That essay was so insightful that it is a shame people here on this forum would not be able to have access to it.

Igbo never lost the war.
The war was not just a territorial battle,it was to stamp our stand against oppression and intimidation, and we did that for 3good yrs against the Union and her world powers.
Surrendering was a necessity.
It was an unconditional surrender. If there was a situation where representatives from both parties to the conflict had to meet and negotiate - the Biafran representatives would have listed conditions before any armistice, and this view of yours would have weight. Maybe there would be a standard seaport in calabar and porthacourt today. I'm just trying to make a point. The war effort on the side of Biafrans was a pure disaster - a waste.
Today there are strong indications that states in the north would be given the rights to control their minerals(like the gold case in zamfara). The north west already have their own constitution(sharia law). This country has been skewed to favour arewa north - there seems to be a constitution for the conquerors and the vanquished. As a matter of fact, Igbos and other groups in the south east are more intimidated than they were before the civil war.

It is a tribal issue. Nwambam should be released asap and compensated.
PoliticsOjukwu, Effiong Betrayed Biafra by ANON333(op):
Biafran administrators in 1970 doomed their generation of Biafrans and others that have followed to shame and subjugation to an Arewa north and their allies. This assertion comes at heels of Taliban's successes against a so superior might like the US. After more than two decades of fighting, the US could not uproot them. To be fair, Biafra was much like an eldorado nation in the hearts of the people of the south east as at the time of the conflict and must have even attracted a more adamant allure than what the Taliban gets in Afghanistan. Those in charge of organizing the Biafran resistance botched everything into nothing. By their action of an unconditional surrender to the Nigerian government, they damned the sacrifices of matyrs and victims.
FoodRe: What Is Happening To Beloxxi Crackers by ANON333(op):
Inflation ought to only affect price
but they increased the price, reduced the quantity and altered the taste. All 3in1 - a perfect combo to kill the brand. What other snack i can turn to is what bothers me now.
FoodWhat Is Happening To Beloxxi Crackers by ANON333(op):
Cream and mini crackers are my favourites because of their peculiar taste which has been consistent for a while now. Though I don't have issues with the increment in price(everybody understands the economic situation at present) but to reduce the pack size and still alter the taste - that is arrant foolishness and it betrays the confidence of loyal patrons like myself. Beloxxi cream crackers now tastes like cabin biscuit. It is so heart wrenching!

The nigerian security are the highest sponsors of terror. Acts like this would stimulate more membership for ipob. This was how they treated borno people till the matter became so hot for anybody in the army to handle.

CultureRe: Question About The Tuareg, I've Been Getting Conflicting Information by ANON333: 9:10am On Jun 09, 2021
Sahelians are in the best position to give us a close insight. Fulaman claimed in an old thread that original tuaregs were very dark skinned and that that kind of faces you've adjudged as true tuaregs were only as a result of later foreign roman(western) genetic influences.

In my desperate attempt to gain weight, i moved from 82kg to 76kg. For now, I've accepted my fate in that weight area, and I'm taking things easy.
82kg is good weight already though it still depends on how you want to be and then there's the height factor to balance the whole thing. If I can get to 70kg now then it's well.
I have to ask - what kind of stress would make someone lose weight while trying to gain extra?

I want personal ideas from men living in Nigeria - preferable those who were formerly skinny.
