Considering the spate of kidnaping activities in Nigeria especially in the Niger/Delta axis and the huge amount of ransom demanded by these kidnappers, one cannot help but to ask whether this act of kidnapping has turn into an occupation for the youths in this region? What is your take please? |
Anoneism: There is a contrast between what is obtainable in our era compared to that of our forefathers. It is evident that we are in a modern era where the whole world is now a global village due to the advancement in science and technology. However, there are basic things that were common as well as unique about our forefathers. Here are some of the contrast between our era and that of our forefathers. They lived in a communal society while we live in a capitalist society. They lived in a corruption-free society, while we live in a corruption-ridden society. Our forefathers were united whereas we are divided. They are critical thinkers while we are analytical. Our forefathers have respect for human right and societal values, whereas we don't. They appease the gods while we provoke the gods. They have leaders, whereas we don't have lead let alone leaders. They are not too religious but peaceful, on the other hand, we are religious yet violent and inhumane. Our forefathers are society builders whereas we are society destroyers. The last but not the least is the fact that, our forefathers lived a natural life whereas we are living an artificial life. From the above comparison, one can accurately come to a logical conclusion that: pls state your conclusion. Thanks. |

An average Igala man is always full of pride that he is a man. To him, being a man means being superior, the head, and the all and all. An average Igala man doesn't respect women's right, he believes women are subjects who should not air their views unless they are ask to. If you see an average Igala man in a relationship, he is autocratic and tyrannic than Late General Sani Abacha. His spouse do not have a say and he controls her the way he likes. To say 'i love u' is an abomination, to help his spouse with domestic work is a crime, to greet her first is a sacrilege and to take her out is a waste of time, emerge, and resources. |
