Buhari faults crackdown on Boko Haram JUNE 3, 2013
Presidential candidate for the Congress for Progressive Change in the 2011 Presidential election, Maj.-Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd), has frowned on the emergency rule in parts of the North. He alleged that innocent civilians were being killed in the states.
Buhari speaking during a Liberty FM Hausa Service Programme, Guest of the Week, on Sunday in Kaduna said that Boko Haram members were being killed and their houses demolished unlike the “special treatment” given to the Niger Delta militants by the Federal Government.
Gracealone: Even the 'cluesless' ex-president Jonathan would have known by now that the current COAS has run out of ideas is overdue for removal, but something is beclouding Buhari's objectivity that only our president himself understands.
PoliticalWitch: Sorry PDP man, but your party is responsible partly for the mess in the power sector.
First, in privatizing power in 2013, your party drove away good foreign investors by bringing in price controls in the law that set up the whole DISCOS and GENCOS thing. This has led to DISCOS not having enough cash to pay GENCOS...because by law they cannot charge enough money to do so. A law that your party put in place when they were running the show. And that is a part of the reason why DISCOS reject power.
Second, you guys made the whole DISCO thing regional. As a result, DISCOS are virtual monopolies in their region, meaning no competition, WHICH does not make power better.
Third, DISCOS cannot be renationalized without excessive costs to the exchequer.
Now, APC too can't or won't do the right thing and improve power by, for example letting the DISCOS run like a private company, and providing legal backup to DISCOS chasing defaulters. But things were not better under PDP, and they won't have been if they were still in power or if Atiku had taken over.
What was promised? What was delivered? Why promise what you can't deliver if you are not a 419er? Are we together or did I lose you already When Jonathan inherited the defective contract for Lagos-Ibadan express road with Babalakin's BiCourtney, he did not wail and blame his predecessors. He fixed the issues and got the reconstruction started. Is that not what a leader does
MetaPhysical: You freaks, you worship America. Some of you sell your children to find money for American visa.
Meanwhile Americans worship their flag. Look on their flag they have their own belief for super natural cause. Even their anthem is about the flag with a divine purpose.
But if we call Edumare and the 400+ gods of Ile Ife una go begin vex.
mercyvivv: I love this Ooni, but what I don't like is his official car. He should be riding a Benz S Class (222), thats what suits people like him.
People like him whose town makes what brand of vehicle please? Even sef do they manufacture the spoke of bicycle in Ile-Ife? Poverty of the mind is the worst poverty, aswear.
Exponental: I think it's a shame on the part of the ruling party if the no 1 man is a General and the security state of the nation is a mess. Who dash am general.... Him buy am? He's only belittling the Military.
Naijaguy123: Ghana has 5000 MW of electricity but only needed 2700 MW of electricity so Ghana has excess of electricity and Nigeria with all its resources has no electricity! Shame of a country.
We are no longer shame of a country since 2015 when 20,000 Mw has been added and we have stable electricity as promised.
Opexzy: If this is true... If i were the one, i won't pay my lawyers... The same foul Atiku played.. How can you call to the court room ungroomed witnesses, not one, not two...
In addition anything can happen today, afterall this is Nigeria... Forget anything INEC is saying up there... Here are the standings Seyi Makinde : PDP Adelabu : APC INEC : APC Tool Judiciary: APC puppet The masses (electorate) : unknown

Symphony007: Buhari reveals how APC won Osun governorship with ‘remote control’
President Muhammadu Buhari, yesterday, while appealing to traditional rulers in Osun State to support his reelection to enable his administration consolidate on its achievements, revealed that APC was able to win the state’s governorship election held months back with the aid of remove control.
Buhari, who failed to provide details of what he meant by remote control, said: “I know how much trouble we had in the last election here. I know by remote control through so many sources how we managed to maintain the party (APC) in power in this state.”
The President said this while interacting with the monarchs led by the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan at the banquet hall of Osun State Government House.
Buhari, received on arrival along with Vice President Yemi Osinbajo by Osun State Governor, Adegboyega Oyetola and his entourage, said the APC has recorded gains in the areas of infrastructural hence the need for the people to return the administration to consolidate on the achievement its has made in the last three years.
He urged the traditional rulers to join hands with his government to tackle the menace of insecurity, assuring that his government was working towards providing social service programmes and soft loans to farmers to boost the agriculture sector of the economy. Oba Wahab Kayode Oyedotun, speaking on behalf of the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi who arrived later, assured President Buhari of victory at the February 16 Presidential election.
murecool: This man is a great man. He is always ready to serve Nigeria in any capacity. Last week has been a very busy week for him. We can only pray to God to guide and protect our Star Boy always.
What option does a slave to the cabal of the caliphate have than to do any assignment given to him? The man haff tired of running around doing the bidding of the incompetent dullar'd who bosses him due to quota shystem.
Buhari makes a prof look like a stupid man. Just see how a prof of law is turned to a pedestrian who was sharing 10k a few months ago in markets and now going to funerals every week
But then again its still better to be a vp (even this type of vp) than to be a common nairaland commentator...so...
Very sad how we have allowed everything in our country to turn upside down. That is the way of the Fulani Republic of Naijeriya, FRN where cows are more valued than some human beings.
stanley000: well, even though I understand what u trying to say let me correct u by saying Trump actually mentioned the country "Haiti" I doubt if Trump even Knows Nigeria exist and even though he met buhari and called him lifeless one I am sure he never bothered to ask which country he's from
