This is how they fool you. They make you feel you are supporting one great mission or cause.
There is only one thing. Politicians scrambling for power and the ability to be at the level where scarce resources are shared.
Lai Mohamed can deceive people, or himself be deceived by PDP and APC issue. For those of us who are mindful with deep sense of thought, we aren't deceived or fooled by this.
It would have been good if these parties even stood for something great or a great cause and an unfettered agenda for development. They stand for nothing but ethnicity, religious bias and class bias.
I don't see PDP or APC or ADP etc. I see a bunch of politicians who are scrambling for relevance, power, authority and wealth. It is not as if politicians or politics is a bad thing. No. But let no one try to change the baseless and pointless politics in Nigeria from what it is. When they are favored they smile, hug and handshake everywhere. But when they are schemed out or at threatened to be schemed out or trying to fight their way back in, they claim PDP and APC and North VS South and Christian VS Muslims.
We the right thinking Nigerians can be spared these cliché Nigerian political rhetorics.
His Excellency the executive governor, of Edo State, Comrade Adams Aliu Oshiomole, and our dear mother Hajia Aisha Oshiomole, His excellency the deputy governor of Edo state and his able and beautiful wife, the wife of our ... the wife of the chairman of our great party Mrs Oyegun, our zonal national woman leader, our state woman leader, the wives of the governors with me and the wives of the former governors that are with me, and the ones that we met here.
Distinguished ladies and gentlemen, we are here in Edo to see my sisters and mothers. The moment the executive governor started introducing some women to me, I know* that I am in the right place and I met the right APC women. ((crowd cheers)) This is what is called digital! These are digital women! I am so delighted to be here and I am overwhelmed by the reception I got from the women of Edo state.
We are not here to campaign but to say a very good thank you, a very very big thank you to my sister the wife of the deputy governor, the commissioner for women affairs, the wife of the chairman of the party, the zonal woman leader, and the state woman leader for the job well done they’ve been doing in educating the electorate in Edo state.
In each zone of the country we have peculiar problems; our problems differs*. For me in this zone, girl-child trafficking should be considered one of our problems, though I know there is unemployment. The unemployment is the major factor that contributes to brain drain and also the girl-child trafficking. General Muhammadu Buhari is a leader, he was a leader, he led Nigeria some decades ago, and he is coming back now to sanitise the system.
For those that are campaigning, saying that he is coming to jail Nigerians, I don’t know what their fear*, but they shouldn’t because we are all yearning for change. The insecurity of the country, the very very very bad healthcare system, lack of education and other basic necessities that people are lacking. I think they need somebody like him now, and already some years back he have* been contesting. They have painted him black using religion. I’m happy today Nigerians discovered that they use religion as a cover to loot Nigeria to nonsense*. They’ve grounded the country. Whoever talks to you about religion in this country, a politician that can talk to you about religion, he is a liar. He is a liar, he wants to loot! He wants to loot the little resources you supposed* to enjoy, so say no to politics, comparing it, matching it with religion to deceive people.
I’m here today to let Edo women know that when my husband elected* into the office of the ... president of the federal republic of Nigeria, all these are going to be history. The insecurity, the girl-child trafficking, suffering of the widows in the south-east will come to an end. There must be a design, a cultural design that can accommodate the widow, and then a design that can make the girl-child comfortable wherever she is in this country. She doesn’t need to leave her country to go and prostitute elsewhere. It is not her portion. Her portion is to have a moral, a highly standard* moral society for her to live, get married, have children, train them ... train them and also mould them to become the future of our leaders*.
We’re here today to also educate you and to let you know that the collection of PVCs is important. You collect your PVC and don’t sell it. Don’t ever sell it. Don’t ever sell it; it’s like selling your future again. When you sell it for five thousand, you won't see five thousand* again till after four years, which is too bad for you. Get your PVC, vote for APC, vote for freedom, vote for new Nigeria. Good security, good education, good health care, good road* and all the basic necessities should be given to you.
I thank you all for being here this afternoon, being under the sun for hours waiting to see me. Thank you so much, I love you all. Thank you, thank you so much.
Last week ... sorry last week we lost a sister, a mother, a former woman leader, Mrs Modinat Omoduwa. Can we have a one minute silence* for her… ((8 second pause)) May her soul rest in perfect peace. Thank you so much.
valentineuwakwe: hello everyone, please I want to ask about some tenancy law and wish some lawyers here will give us a full clarification. .if a tenant is given a 3 or 6 months quit notice, will he still need to pay rent for the period stated in the notice?
thanks
Yes. If a worker is given notice of separation, she is still paid his salary until the last working day, not so? The tenant has to pay rent until the last day of staying in the rented premises.
IkpuMmadu: “The most expensive and valuable project built in Nigeria in the last 20 years is the $1.8 billion Abuja-Kaduna 187-kilometre super-fast railway that enables Nigerians to work in Abuja and live in Kaduna.
“This project was built and completed by the Jonathan administration. Does the Vice President know this?” the statement said.
It further indicated that the former president revived the Nigerian Railways in five of the six geopolitical zones and also restored direct rail service from Lagos to Kano, Port Harcourt to Maiduguri and Makurdi to Gombe.
“When Rotimi Amaechi took over as minister of transport in 2015, he said ‘in fact, I think we have a problem; most people don’t believe that the railway transport is functioning in Nigeria. I didn’t even know, until I started this tour…’
“My question to the vice president is: who built these rail infrastructure that Amaechi was referring to?
Reno forgot to include the CONFESSION of presidiot Bubu's mouthpiece, Femi Adesina.
nawtyme: Previous Govts Initiated ‘Most Of The Things This Administration Is Doing’ – Adesina
A majority of the projects the Muhammadu Buhari administration is working on was inherited from previous administrations, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity has said.
Mr Femi Adesina said this when he appeared on Channels Television’s special Independence anniversary programme on Sunday.
“Most of the things this administration is doing – 60 to 70 percent of them – were initiated by previous governments,” he said.
“That shows you that in the past a government will come and say ‘this is not our project’ And it will discard what was being done and start fresh ones.”
As a result, Mr Adesina said there are many half and quarter-completed abandoned projects. But rather than abandon the project, he explained that the current administration will complete it.
An example is the Abuja-Kaduna rail project which the Presidential aide said was up to maybe 60 to 70 percent complete when the last administration left.
“This administration came, completed it and inaugurated it. Then you will still find some people shouting, ‘they are claiming credit for what the past administration started,” he said.
“It shows there is a mentality in Nigeria that makes governments not want to complete what previous governments have started. But this administration is not going that way at all, it is just doing what needs to be done for the good of the country.”
Another example is the Mambilla power project, which has been in the works since 1972, but has now started taking shape under this administration.
In going about its activities, Mr Adesina said the Federal Government follows due process in the awarding of contracts, stressing that projects worth above N50m will require the permission of the Federal Executive Council before such a contract can be awarded.
“One thing this government does scrupulously is to follow due process in the award of all these contracts and projects.
“Anything that is above N50m must come to the Federal Executive Council. Before the FEC will endorse any project or contract, the Bureau of Public Procurement must have signed off on that project that it is worthy to be done and the projections are good, that this government does not joke about.”
Mortiple: Goodluck Jonathan lost to serial loosers because of 'Nigerian factors'. What were those factors? These include Tribalism, Ethnic and Religious Sentiments.
APC sold a dummy of a fantasy land to Nigerians where everything go dey yafuyafu. Two years down the line, the same people who should be reviewing PMB's scorecards are busy defending him.
Nobody holy pass! You will be wiser the day you realise that over a billion naira were budgeted for our sanctimonious President and his VP daily bread annually (365 days). They have stopped using N50 sachets of Milo for breakfast as was the case during campaign.
Firefire: ‘A budget that moves domestic spending in Aso Villa from N580m to N1.7bn cannot be a budget of change’
Abuja – Sen. Eyinnaya Abaribe (PDP Abia South) on Wednesday in Abuja, berated the 2016 budget and called on President Muhammaduu Buhari to withdraw it and go back to the drawing board.
Abaribe while making contributions during the consideration of the budget, said the proposal was faulty on many grounds and could not be implemented at it was.
He said that predication of oil benchmark at 38 dollars per barrel when the crude oil price had fallen below 30 dollars per barrel made the budget unrealistic.
Abaribe faulted the government for increasing spending by 30 per cent based on borrowing.
“Mr President, my colleagues, this budget is indeed unique. After the budget presentation, the finance minister has never come to explain the details of the budget as it is normally done.
“It is a budget of change I agree, but it is a change in the wrong direction. I say it is a change in the wrong direction because it says that it is based on zero budgeting requiring all expenses to be fully justified.
“Mr President, a budget that increases spending up to 30 per cent based solely on borrowing, in what way are we justified? That is the question we want to ask the people who brought this budget.
“We know what is going on in the global economy: this budget is predicated on an oil benchmark of 38 dollars per barrel and I can now say that with oil being 28 dollars today, this budget is dead on arrival.
“The job of the opposition is to help the government to get its priorities right, so I want to please urge this government to withdraw this budget and go back to the drawing board,” he said.
The senator also faulted the adjustments made in the budget as well as allocation for spending in the Aso Rock Villa, saying that it was too exorbitant.
He said that the adjustments rather than reduce spending in areas where they were not necessary only spread it into different offices. “Mr President, a budget that moves domestic spending within Aso Villa from N580 million to N1.7 billion cannot be a budget of change.
“We were told that in the revised budget there was an adjustment due to error, we agree but what has happened is that up to N7 billion were moved from buying vehicles and spread to offices.
“It also increased the spending that is due to renovations within the Villa.
“They are going to renovate the Villa with N3.9 billion: what else do you want to renovate there that Nigerians will see in the Year 2016?” he asked.
However, in his contribution, Sen. Ahmed Lawan (APC Yobe North) blamed the previous administration for the lack of funds due to the embezzlement witnessed in previous governments.
He said that this was the 17th budget he would be debating as a legislator and noted that not more than 40 per cent implementation was achieved in the last 16 years.
“The proposal before us is the first budget where the executive has deemed it necessary to give ordinary Nigerians genuine hope.
“N500 billion allocated for school feeding and social SAFTEY NET is commendable.
“It is time to say oil should not continue to play dominant role as we have suffered economically and politically: it is time to diversify this economy.
“The direction of the executive is the way to go. `That is, we should make every effort to have the real sector-agric mining and manufacturing.
“The budget deserves the support of everyone, including my colleagues on the other side. When we were in the opposition we supported the PDP, they should support us,” he said.
kitaatita: Does it take away the fact that Jonathan distributed money close to the 2015 elections. Besides, Jonathan did not initiate the Rail line in question. The construction work was in progress during OBJ administration.
Is Jonathan the same person as presidiot bubu and AmaeTHIEF
Dollarization Of The APC Primaries: How Amaehi Vanquished Atiku #saibuhari
The blogosphere was inundated with reports of the excessive sharing of dollars at the All Progressives Congress which took place during the latter part of last week.
One APC supporter and Special Adviser to Osun Governor on Environment, BolaIlori had blown the scandal open after he saw the beginning stages of the dollarization in action.
He took to his Facebook page and scribbled, “Crazy things are happening here!!! Some of these cannot represent the change Nigeria is yearning for. Excessive dollarization by one of the aspirants to is to say the least obscene. I have been involved in political process for decades now, I have never witnessed this volume of raw dollarization of party primaries. I only read about this kind of things in PDP primaries. A question been asked by conscientious delegates is that whoever can be giving out between $2000 to $5000 to…delegates certainly does not represent the kind of change Nigerians want…those who contributed to the pauperization of Nigeria now revel in dollarization… majority of Ondo delegates are still standing with Buhari but have been reduced from 85% to 70% within 24 hours…the remaining has gone with dollars ooo.!!!!!”
One has to wonder how Buhari was able to win the primaries in this era of stomach infrastructure where dollars are like the Biblical manna that God sent down from heaven to nourish the Israelites as they made their way to the promised land.
Sources close to the APC with knowledge of the way the Primaries unfolded have revealed that it was Rivers State Governor, Amaechi who flew back to Rivers State and returned to Lagos on Thursday morning with enough dollars to make Benjamin Franklin blush.
It has been revealed that Atiku offered the delegates $5000 each, but Amaechi doubled it to $10000 a pop. Thus turning the tables in favour of General Buhari.
Since his adventure into the APC, Amaechi has gone out of his way to prove himself a party loyalist, always the first to shoki or azonto at the many events the APC holds, which he himself is usually the chief sponsor.
According to party insiders, Amaechi has overtaken Tinubu as the major financier of the party. One does not need to wonder why he is always at President Jonathan’s throat over misappropriated oil wells or other such business. Anything that diminishes from the State’s coffers will have a ripple effect on his funding budget for the APC.
OGAMINISTER: Just show us one verifiable lies from him and stop beating about the bush.........those whom Buhari's govt has stopped from enjoying free money will always be bitter about every of his actions
Can the Baba Isale of corruption stop anyone from enjoying free money? Impossibility can never be possible, bro.
BeeBeeOoh: North East: Senate Turns Down Budget Proposal For Information Ministry..
ABUJA—THE Senate, yesterday, refused to treat the budget proposal for the Federal Ministry of Information due to lack of provision for media propaganda in the North East.
The Senate Committee on Information, which took the decision during the ministry’s budget defence, insisted that the ministry must not only rework but also re-present its budget with provisions for effective media propaganda in the North East.
The committee on information, headed by Senator Enyinaya Abaribe, PDP, Abia South, directed that the ministry should bring a budget that will cater for the needs of its media agencies. Abaribe’s directive was sequel to the observation raised by a member of the committee and senator representing Bayelsa North, Ben Bruce, who had decried the non inclusion of budget for media operations in the North East, in the wake of the Boko Haram insurgency. Bruce, in his remark, had pointed out that during the Nigerian Civil War, the media was effectively used to propagate relevant information. He therefore appealed that the Nigerian Television Authority, NTA, Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, FRCN, News Agency of Nigeria, NAN, and Voice of Nigeria, VON, should go and add the required component.
He said: “It would have made more sense for the information budget of the Army to be given to the Ministry of Information to equip these stations to be used by the military as a source of communication.
“For instance, if there is going to be an air raid in a particular area, we can warn the citizens to stay off that particular area".
Revealed: How Buhari Budgeted N39 billion for Propaganda
In a bid to launder his already battered image, President Muhammadu Buhari has allocated a whooping sum of N39 billion in the 2016 budget to the Ministry of Information and Culture, a sum higher than the paltry N29 billion allocated to the Ministry of Agriculture.
This is a direct inverse of the 2015 budget, where Former President Goodluck Jonathan allocated the sum of N23 billion to Ministry of Information and N39 billion to the Agricultural Ministry.
The meager allocation to the Agricultural ministry has left political stakeholders wondering if the present administration aims at diversifying the economy or thriving on propaganda.
Buhari had in August, 2015 stated that Nigerians must stop paying mere lip service to agriculture, as crude oil and gas exports will no longer be sufficient as the country’s major revenue earner.
“It’s time to go back to the land. We must face the reality that the petroleum we had depended on for so long will no longer suffice. We campaigned heavily on agriculture, and we are ready to assist as many want to go into agricultural ventures,’’ Buhari stated.
However investigations by Post Nigeria revealed that Buhari’s words did not match his action following the lean budgetary provision for Agriculture.
gbadexy: These ones are still learners. even from the pictures, I could see some looking with reservation while some with beret were monkeying on. These sort of things only serve to let all of them identify each other. The good thing is that there would be low incidence of innocent people being harmed. When they resume hostility which is bound to happen with gathering of idle and intoxicated lots, it would be more severe. only solution is for them to all get meaningfully engaged which I doubt.
Doubt will be removed if we all hold our politicians at every level and arm of government responsible to us instead of hailing them while throwing stones at the riff raffs for stealing phones.
Dhugal: The victims include the Nigerian Army (the indiscipline heralded by Murtala), the Nigerian state itself and its institutions of administration. It's beholding on y'all then to correct the anomaly, not just the individual victims.
I was actually referring to the Igbos who believe they suffered most. Cheers.
Paperwhite: Murtala can never be resting in peace. The atrocities he committed will continue to hunt him.Wicked soul.
What have those who suffered the atrocities done to make sure everyone is reminded of the atrocities daily with monuments as done by the Jews for the Nazi holocaust or the Rwandans for the genocide? Who are they waiting for? Why can't they raise funds to set up monuments, lectures, symposium, research etc?
dodelight: Though I'm no fan of Atiku. But is Obasanjo God?
Abi oh. Is there any honour between the two thieves?
Nigerian deals 'wasted billions 14 March 2008
Some $2.2bn-worth of Nigerian energy contracts were awarded without a bidding process by the former president and his energy minister, officials say. One was to a company with less than $200 of base capital at the time, a witness told a parliamentary committee.
It is investigating why $16bn of investment in the energy sector during Olusegun Obasanjo's eight years in power failed to end power shortages.
........from Audu Ogbeh's rotten yam export. Maybe they think that agriculture is the same thing as propaganda since we have illiterates running ruining our country. All Poverty Congress, APC and lies be like Siamese twins 5 & 6.

MikeJosy: Budget of change indeed, this is the 3rd budget presented by Buhari since inception of this administration tagged" budget of Change" But where is the change? After trillion upon trillion as appropriation bill since 2015 plus the recovered loots and Buhari is fighting corruption. God must judge all the all our leaders who are green snake under green grass. May Help Nigeria and Nigerians
God won't come down to judge anyone. It is up to the citizens to judge them at the ballot box.

Boi boi to Ebola Owu in stealing. However he is better than Agbaya of Ota by far in fighting corruption as assessed by Transparency International of which Bully_Aminu of Abeokuta was a board member in the past.
Nigeria's economy has always been on life support.
I'm sure this won't be the first time someone is telling you to enjoy your life and not too work too hard. So what makes her case different?
Love Kemi to the moon and back.
Since when did the minister of Finance of what used to be the biggest economy in Africa become just someone? It is your prerogative to love her to hell and back. However she owes a duty to the Nigerian citizens who pay her fat salary. Do you see the difference?
omoelerin1: Central Bank drives the economy more than the finance ministry. It is the economic policy formulator and economic adviser to the Govt.
Are you joking or are you seriously joking? Where did you learn the above from? Or this is just a lame attempt to shield Kemi, the incompetent from taking the blame of ruining our prosperity and turning it into recession?
When will the Nigerian Police Force declare our minister of petroleum Buhari and the NNPC GMD wanted for stealing our $26 billion? Buhari likes being in charge of petroleum always so he can steal our money. $2.8 billion in the 70s. N135 billions as PTF Chairman. Now $26 billion. Why are we so cursed with this Fulani born-to-rule owner of naijeriya?
kn23h: I no dey follow you fight for GEJ crumbs. Calm down.
You are the one who needs to calm down about going around making FALSE statements. And you just made one again about fighting for crumbs, which ordinarily I should report you to the mods but I will let it slide for this time. Learn to show some seriousness instead of following this yeye owambe minister of finance who with his baba isale of corruption Buhari, has ruined our economy from prosperity to recession in record time rather than deliver on their campaign promises. Understood
somehow: And were you there too or just spamming the internet as usual?
To be taken serious, you will have to show where so much public space is devoted to my life and where my twitter rants are posted on nairaland and even make its front page. Deal or no deal
