I hope that he has paid all salaries owed. Obviously, if the pregnant women and their husbands had jobs and are paid promptly, there may be no need for this "philanthropy". IF not this is just another SCAM given how much was found in his personal accounts by EFCC!
AngryNigerian: Do you know how many are being looted as we speak?
Worse looting that we are not even allowed to speak about. All na change chain, bro. Any wonder that the padded budget for their propaganda ministry is higher than for agriculture ministry?
Revealed: How Buhari Budgeted N39 billion for Propaganda
In a bid to launder his already battered image, President Muhammadu Buhari has allocated a whooping sum of N39 billion in the 2016 budget to the Ministry of Information and Culture, a sum higher than the paltry N29 billion allocated to the Ministry of Agriculture.
This is a direct inverse of the 2015 budget, where Former President Goodluck Jonathan allocated the sum of N23 billion to Ministry of Information and N39 billion to the Agricultural Ministry.
The meager allocation to the Agricultural ministry has left political stakeholders wondering if the present administration aims at diversifying the economy or thriving on propaganda.
Buhari had in August, 2015 stated that Nigerians must stop paying mere lip service to agriculture, as crude oil and gas exports will no longer be sufficient as the country’s major revenue earner.
“It’s time to go back to the land. We must face the reality that the petroleum we had depended on for so long will no longer suffice. We campaigned heavily on agriculture, and we are ready to assist as many want to go into agricultural ventures,’’ Buhari stated.
However investigations by Post Nigeria revealed that Buhari’s words did not match his action following the lean budgetary provision for Agriculture.
Dollarization Of The APC Primaries: How Amaehi Vanquished Atiku #saibuhari
The blogosphere was inundated with reports of the excessive sharing of dollars at the All Progressives Congress which took place during the latter part of last week.
One APC supporter and Special Adviser to Osun Governor on Environment, BolaIlori had blown the scandal open after he saw the beginning stages of the dollarization in action.
He took to his Facebook page and scribbled, “Crazy things are happening here!!! Some of these cannot represent the change Nigeria is yearning for. Excessive dollarization by one of the aspirants to is to say the least obscene. I have been involved in political process for decades now, I have never witnessed this volume of raw dollarization of party primaries. I only read about this kind of things in PDP primaries. A question been asked by conscientious delegates is that whoever can be giving out between $2000 to $5000 to…delegates certainly does not represent the kind of change Nigerians want…those who contributed to the pauperization of Nigeria now revel in dollarization… majority of Ondo delegates are still standing with Buhari but have been reduced from 85% to 70% within 24 hours…the remaining has gone with dollars ooo.!!!!!”
One has to wonder how Buhari was able to win the primaries in this era of stomach infrastructure where dollars are like the Biblical manna that God sent down from heaven to nourish the Israelites as they made their way to the promised land.
Sources close to the APC with knowledge of the way the Primaries unfolded have revealed that it was Rivers State Governor, Amaechi who flew back to Rivers State and returned to Lagos on Thursday morning with enough dollars to make Benjamin Franklin blush.
It has been revealed that Atiku offered the delegates $5000 each, but Amaechi doubled it to $10000 a pop. Thus turning the tables in favour of General Buhari.
Since his adventure into the APC, Amaechi has gone out of his way to prove himself a party loyalist, always the first to shoki or azonto at the many events the APC holds, which he himself is usually the chief sponsor.
According to party insiders, Amaechi has overtaken Tinubu as the major financier of the party. One does not need to wonder why he is always at President Jonathan’s throat over misappropriated oil wells or other such business. Anything that diminishes from the State’s coffers will have a ripple effect on his funding budget for the APC.
acenazt: Great. The league is improving so d players don dey get surgery.
Our medical services are also improving even though our president still goes abroad to treat his deafness despite having more padded budget for his Aso Rock clinic than all our Teaching Hospitals combined. After, he will tell us to buy Nigerian goods and services to improve the Naira Why can't change beging with HIM?
dman4mdmoon: You are still missing the point. You brought in the issue of Tinubu in your first comment from the context of rotation of power within a family. That is what I reacted to. Most of our politicians are intolerant even the present occupant of Aso Rock.
I have not said anything different from what you have up there. We SEEM to both agree that all our politicians are intolerant rogues. However they are that way because we allow them to be so and that is to our own detriment.
generaliy07: I wonder who he's trying to impress, someone who should at most head a motorcycle association tarmac somewhere, collecting "ticket money", now making laws for you and I, for professors and corporate executives, Nigeria is not serious about developing yet!
Boleyndynasty2: Nobi small elephant grass...Bunch of criminals and shameless thieves. GEJ cabinets dey learn work compared to buhari's trained and graduated criminals with PhD, MSc etc etc in kleptomania
Truly dem get PhD for corruption like this one who is using N795 million just to update a web site
7lives: Let me make it easy for you, Have you heard of Kennedy Family in America, or of recent the Clinton family?. what ever Tinubu does and get away with in Lagos, its because people allowed him, if the people said no, he won't succeed. BAT is a brand that people wants to buy don't you just get it?. The difference between Bode George and Tinubu is that people are ready to risk their necks for Tinubu, some will equally want to risk their necks for Bode George but how many?. Don't you think people have rights to follow who they like, aja ki i gbagbe olore eko, don't you think Tinubu must have done something that endears him to the people to the extent of allowing him to get away with orishirishi?.
For both Tinubu and Bode George as well as our other public servants, the modus operandi is the same.
dman4mdmoon: You are missing the point, I am not talking about his criticism or voicing against the federal government. I am talking about his all round intolerant attitude. Fayose will crush anyone that stands on his way. Go and check his records. Now to the issue of Tinubu fielding his family members in positions of power, I am not in support of such but when you think deeply you will realise that an average human being his selfish and has the tendency to behave like Tinubu. Take a look at the Sarakis. The father, Olusola Saraki was once a senate leader. Bukola Saraki was once a governor of Kwara, now a senate president. Gbemi was once a senator. She even contested for governorship and lost. All from one family. Obasanjo was a president while the daughter also served a commissioner and minister. Most former governors are today serving senators. The eldest son of Gov. Theodore Orji, Chinedu Orji is the majority leader of Abia state house of Assembly. The list goes on. Even outside of the shore of this country. The Bush family in America is a case in point. The Clintons are also going the same route. So, human beings are naturally wired to be self centred.
Are you saying that Tinubu is not intolerant and will not crush anyone standing in his way Shall we ask Engr. Funsho Williams who was brutally murdered in 2006 to make the elections in 2007 easy for Tinubu's surrpgate?
Dutchboy: "The real enemy is the man that stole the city hall. The enemy is the Iragbiji upstart who seized the local government Secretariat at Glover street in Ikoyi. Our collective enemy is the greedy man who bought the old Nurses House, the Falomo shopping complex, the Lagos state Polytechnic property at Ojota, the stretches of acres at Lekki, the old Strabag yard at Alausa, the innumerable beach front properties long owned by the people of Lagos state, the billion naira Queen’s Drive mansion, the illegal Lekki Toll Gate, the First Nation Airline, the strings of media conglomerates, the Vault and Garden Cemetery, the vast Estates on the shores of Oniru beach , the endless choice hotels and high-rises, the shopping Mall in Ikeja and Lekki, and many great assets of our people this Iragbiji man has stolen with manic desperation. That is the real enemy we must chase back to Iraghiji.
With all these crazy and bewildering acquisitions , it is obvious that this Iragbiji upstart suffers from a disease called AFFLUENZA. It is an incurable malady which makes the pathetic sufferer to pursue blind, greedy, desperate and infectious craving for acquisition after acquisition. Here , the demented sufferer can never stop the craving for unnecessary endless accumulation of wealth. He does not know what is enough. Here wealth is glorified in place of the Almighty God. This is the dreadful disease Tinubu is suffering from.
Let us remove and dismantle the greedy contraption of Bola Tinubu from Lagos and the whole South West before the madness of the Iragbiji man corrupts the whole nation."

However, your Bubu is a bloody HYPOCRITE who is still IMPORTING even medical practice despite higher budget for his Aso Rock clinic than all Teaching Hospitals combined. You should be ashamed of the man, except you are a zombie, which I hope that you are not!
TheGoodJoe: You obviously chose to ignore this in the post.
Alleging that the Federal Government has continued to deplete the funds in the “Excess Crude Account”
And then chose to ignore the sitting of this case was in 2012 when GEJ was president.
Nothing was ignored. I clearly stated that the payments for subsidy were from the ECA, did I not This guaranteed steady fuel price and regular supply for the benefit of the masses despite higher oil price and forex rate while Jonathan was president, not so?

In a sane country a useless party like that will issue a statement of apology to the citizens instead of all these rubbish they are doing. But this is Africa where 16 is greater than 22 because MONEY IS THE KING, all madness will eventually end in common sense, that whosoever wants to GOVERN MUST DEMONSTRATE HIS OR HER LOVE FOR THE PEOPLE AND MUST BE READY TO SERVE, INSTEAD OF THE PAST AND PRESENT DISPOSITION.
Are you not part of the Africa you refer to? What have you done (are doing & plan to do) so this is no longer our narrative?
Meanwhile for the riggers and FRAUDSTERS, you must be talking of the Association of ProgreTHIEF Criminals, APC as shown below =>

theoctopus: This is what is currently happening in Lagos West Senatorial district featuring Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Honourable Solomon Olamilekan Adeola alias YAYI.
On 6th of Feb 2014, YAYI Adeola in Ilaro, Yewa South LG of Ogun State, registered to contest for senate, Ogun West. All of a sudden, with the help of his in-law Tinubu, YAYI surfaced in Lagos West after losing out in the APC primaries in Ogun West.
There are three senatorial districts in Lagos and Tinubu’s family members are jostling for two of those. It's on record that Solomon Olamilekan Adeola - YAYI married from Tinubu’s family. I'm also aware that Tinubu’s wife is the incumbent senator for Lagos Central.
Are there no other candidates the APC can come up with. Why must they be from Tinubu’s family? Do we need a confused YAYI in Lagos West? Has Lagos become the waste dump of Ogun state?
It is obvious YAYI is after his personal interest and those of his godfather Tinubu. #LagosWestDeservesBetter than him and APC
Now you can understand when they say APC is Tinubu's business enterprise
dman4mdmoon: Seriously I smile anytime I read comments on this platform of people praising Gov. Fayose. Most of his praise singers do not know who he is truly. Fayose is deadlier than people think. Those who were around during his first tenure will attest to this.
Just like the Jagabandit of Bourdillon was needed (past tense) to checkmate the excesses of the old thug, Ebola Owu in 2003-2007, Fayose is also needed to checkmate Bubu and our Asiwaju Asiwere. However, we, the PEOPLE need to keep him (Fayose) in check so he does not become a MONSTER colonialist like Ogbeni Ojuyobo.
doublefreez: if he is working against his boss, he should be duely cautioned, and cautioned he is. repent and turn back to the ways of the government of the day.Is it Fayose that suspended him directly? Don't get it twisted people.
Since when did the governor become the boss of a lawmaker in the state? Is this a democracy or a dictatorship? A republic or an empire/kingdom? You probably do not know there are three INDEPENDENT but complementary arms of democratic government, or do you They are the:
- executive - legilative and - judiciary
Please educate yourself and stop embarrassing yourself again in public.
During his first years as a state senator, Obama was a co-sponsor of a bill that re-structured the Illinois welfare program into the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) program. He also helped get various pieces of legislation that established a $100 million Earned Income Tax Credit for working families, increased child care subsidies for low-income families, and required advance notice before mass layoffs and plant closings passed.
StepTwo: SPECIAL REPORT: Ex-Govs Akpabio, Amaechi, Suntai received billions in waivers to buy aircraft, 200 BMW cars - PREMIUM TIMES
While they held sway in their respective states, three former governors of Akwa Ibom, Rivers and Taraba received waivers to buy different ranges of aircrafts that included a Bombardier private jet and a Bell 407 Helicopter, PREMIUM TIMES can authoritatively report.
The governors and other serving government officials circumvented paying duties even as they imported, under various guises, luxury automobiles that included BMW, Ford, Range Rover, Lexus and Jaguar. The waivers were granted in the names of their states.
Between 2011 and May 2014, a total of N215 Billion in import duty exemptions were granted in four years under the leadership of ex-President Goodluck Jonathan.
Data obtained from the Budget Office of the Federation detail a fiscal policy recklessness that made duty waivers in Nigeria to become synonymous with cronyism, racketeering, political patronage and outright brigandage.
Whilst some of the waivers may have been well-meaning and granted for the purposes of stimulating local production, economic growth and job creation, the data show that some of those who benefited did not deserve such concessions.
In 2013 former governor of Rivers State, Rotimi Amaechi, now Minister of Transport, got waivers to buy one Bombardier aircraft Global Vision 5,000 series and two Bell 412 Axis Helicopters.
The three items attracted a total import duties of N2, 182,619,909.00 (Two billion, one hundred and eighty-two million, six hundred and nineteen thousand, nine hundred and nine Naira) but this was waived off by the Customs.
A year earlier in 2012, the Akwa Ibom State government, ran at the time by Godswill Akpabio, who is now a serving Senator, received waiver to purchase a G450 5N 4241 Aircraft. The economic necessity for the aircraft was not stated. This particular acquisition attracted import duty of N271, 256,000.00 (Two hundred and seventy-one million and Two hundred and fifty-six thousand Naira) but was not paid in view of the waiver.
Similarly, former Governor Danbaba Suntai, acting in the name of Taraba State, received waiver in 2012 to buy a Bell 407 Helicopter. The import duty on the helicopter was N13, 064,546.00 (Thirteen million, sixty-four thousand, and five hundred and forty-six naira). In October of the same year, Mr. Suntai became involved with another aircraft owned by the Taraba State government, this time a Cessna 208 5N-BMJ which crashed on a flight from Jalingo to Yola. Year after year, virtually everyone with access to the corridor of power did their best to take advantage of the waiver regime of the President Jonathan government. Names and incongruous items combined in a clear defeat of the same economic policy the concessions were meant to promote. Waivers were granted for the importation of Mercedes Benz cars and personal effects like refrigerators, tiles, marbles, beddings, chairs, cups and sunglasses. One sub-head in the Budget Office data unbelievably reads: “Specialized items such as custom made carpets, timber dining chairs etc”.
These items were imported at zero-duty in the name of the Federal Capital Territory. Seizing the moment, the Rivers State Government, in 2011 under Mr. Amaechi imported 200 units of luxury cars, including “BMW, Ford and other brands”. There was no agricultural machinery nor any economic enhancement tool in the Rivers’ import. The sum of N503.3 million was not paid as a result of the waiver, thus there was no discouragement of any sort for state executives that chose to waste taxpayers’ sweats on luxury goods. The Lagos State government, under Babatunde Fashola, soon joined the fray, importing, in 2012, 300 units of BMW, Ford, Land Rover, Range Rover, Lexus, Mercedes and Jaguar. For Lagos State however, it was explained that the automobiles were for the 18th National Sports Festival. A total of N772 million in duty was waived.
A few months ago, the Senate Ad hoc Committee on Import Duty Waivers, Concessions and Grants announced it had uncovered fraud in the administration of import duty waivers on rice, sugar, other foods items and automobiles. The committee, in its report, named frontline companies, including Dangote Limited, Kersuk Farms, Bua Group, Elephant Group, Milan Group and Golden Penny. It also named specific government agencies such as the Ministry of Finance, Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment, Nigeria Export Promotion Council (NPC), Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and Federal Inland Revenue Service as complicit in the waiver racketeering. The Customs and Excise Management Act prescribes that some imported goods could be granted duty exemptions if they are meant to boost local manufacturing of goods for export. To this end, agricultural implements, and machineries for key sectors like Water Resources, Steel, Gas and Aviation are usually exempted from duty. It remains puzzling how this Act was interpreted to justify waivers granted government officials to import cars and personal effects. Save for 2014, waivers granted between 2011 and 2013 were littered with cars and personal effects imported at zero-duty by unnamed officials of the Ministry of Aviation and Ministry of Foreign Affairs. These personal imports are different from those made specifically by Ministries, Departments or Agencies. Individual officials curiously obtained waivers to import “Mercedes Benz and personal effects”, “Honda car and personal effects”, “Toyota Verso and personal effects”, “Hyundai Tuscan and personal effects” and “Toyota RAV4 and personal effects”. Also listed were “Nissan Car and personal effects”, 4 Runner Toyota car, Nissan Pathfinder, Mitsubishi Car, Toyota Camry, Furniture, Toyota Corolla, Mercedes Benz GL 450 and personal effects, Mercedes Benz A170, Honda Accord, Toyota Sienna and personal effects, and Ford Edge vehicle.
Greatpooss: Minister of darkness doesn't care about their welfare, he is only concerned about his salary and allowances. After all they would be told recession is the cause of their suffering.
Do you mean that Bubu is also "only concerned about his salary and allowances."
Security operatives attached to the Aso Rock Presidential Villa, including 95 presidential body guards, are grumbling over non-payment of their 13-month special allowance.
They are officers of the Nigerian Army, the Department of Security Service (DSS), the Nigerian Police Force (NPF) the National Intelligence Agency (NIA), the Federal Fire Service and the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC).
Since President Muhammadu Buhari assumed office on May 29, 2015, the State House security staff, numbering about 1,400 say they have not received their special allowance otherwise known as Risk Cautious Allowance (RCA).
The administration of former President Goodluck Jonathan was said to be paying each of the senior security personnel at the Villa N30,000; and the junior ones, N25,000 as monthly special allowance.
Findings, however, revealed that even though Jonathan’s administration had reviewed the special allowance upward, the last time the Villa security staff received it was in March, 2015.
But the officers currently securing the nation’s seat of power said it beat their imagination that they could be owed their RCA under the administration of President Buhari, a retired general.
The security personnel, who craved anonymity, lamented that several months after President Muhammadu Buhari had ordered the payment of the allowance, “nothing has been done.”
One of them, a policeman, told our correspondent that he was surprised at the non-payment of the special allowance “especially because the president is from a security background.
The Presidency explained that “clean and lawful” means of paying the special allowance was being devised, as directed by President Buhari.
The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Mallam Garba Shehu, told our correspondent that on assumption of office, Buhari’s administration discovered that the Office of the National Security Adviser (NSA) was paying the special allowance without following due process.
Shehu said: “Under the Muhammadu Buhari administration, you are not going to have the NSA going to the Central Bank or the NNPC to fetch money to share around. That is not going to happen.”
He said the president had, to that extent, directed the incumbent NSA, General Babagana Munguno, “to devise clean and lawful means of paying those allowances as part of the overall effort to clean up that office.”

7lives: You still don't get it do you?, majority of those defending Hardluck are beneficiaries of his mismanagement of Nigerian money, by their arguments you shall know them. They are doing their best to mis inform people and make them believe that Buhari out of the wickedness in him decided to introduce hardship into the lives of citizenry. This is being done with the purpose of inciting the populace, especially the ignorant ones to vote against APC come 2019, it is a good idea no doubt provided it works, unfortunately IT WON'T WORK BECAUSE EVERYONE HAVE NOW SEE THAT PDP IS A PARTY OF THIEVES, until proven otherwise. Hoping to capitalize on peoples pain to come back to government WILL NOT WORK ESPECIALLY IN SW, THE PEOPLE HERE ARE SMART ENOUGH TO KNOW THAT PDP IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CURRENT ECONOMIC STATUS OF THE COUNTRY. Oga, PDP is still inside the Association of ProgreTHIEF Criminals, APC government. Its worstest elements have become redeemed born-to-gain LOOTocrats in the fold of their Chop & Clean mouth comrades. This includes the Ebola Owu who ruled for 8 years out of the 16 years of PDP at the federal level. Or is he not the navigator of APC
TheGoodJoe: ABUJA — Legal tussle over the proposed creation of a “Sovereign Wealth Fund” assumed a fresh dimension, yesterday, as Governors of the 36 states of the federation approached the Supreme Court, asking it to abort plans by the Federal Government to withdraw $2 billion from the “Excess Crude Account.”
Alleging that the Federal Government has continued to deplete the funds in the “Excess Crude Account” despite the pendency of their legal action, the governors, through their lead counsel, Chief Adegboyega Awomolo, SAN, noted that whereas $20 billion was in the account as at 2008 when the case was entered, they maintained that only $3.1 billion is currently remaining in the account.
You keep exposing your LIES with additional evidence that you provide. Answer the following questions to reveal to everyone how shallow your above post is:
1) Was Jonathan the president "as at 2008 when the case was entered" in court? 2) Did the Supreme Court stop the withdrawal for subsidy payment as requested by the 36 governors in 2012? If yes, please share the news link. 3) Who established the ECA? Was it not the Ebola Owu lawless dictator You may wish to refer to the excerpt below for insight =>
It will be recalled that President Obasanjo unilaterally established the ECA in 2004 without consultation with, and approval of, the State Governors and the National Assembly. Since then, there has been a raging controversy between the FG and the 36 SGs over the constitutionality of the ECA . In 2008, the 36 SGs went to court to compel the FG to stop operating the ECA and to transfer the funds in it to the Federation Account (FA) for sharing among the three tiers of government.
I have told you already that Amaechi and the other 35 governors wanted subsidy stopped as it was reducing what they were sharing from the ECA. Is that something you cannot understand

The Association of ProgreTHIEF Criminals, APC did worse for the wife of their former national leader, Remi Tinubu.
metronaija2: The Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa at plenary on Monday, July 18, 2016, led other members of the House to condemn the assault on Senator Oluremi Tinubu by Senator Dino Melaye at the Senate hallowed Chamber last week, describing the action as unfortunate and unethical for a distinguished Senator of the country.
The condemnation of the members was sequel to a motion moved by the Deputy Speaker of the House, Hon. Wasiu Eshilokun Sanni requesting the Assembly to formally write to the National Secretariat of the All Progressive Congress (APC) for disciplinary action against the erring senator.
Earlier, a group of human rights activist under the umbrella of Concerned Group of Lagos had earlier staged a protest to the Assembly decrying the shameful action of the Senator and seeking justice for Senator Oluremi Tinubu.
The spokesperson for the group, Mrs. Eunice Ogunleye stated that Senator Melaye has exhibited misconduct and brought shame to the senate through his actions while the entire womenfolk of the country sees his actions as an affront against them.
Mrs. Ogunleye however requested that Senator Melaye should tender unreserved public apology on the floor of the hallowed chamber of the senate, especially to the person of Senator Tinubu and to Nigeria as a whole due to his misconduct.
The Majority leader, Hon. Sanai Agunbiade while contributing stated that ‘Dino Malaye action is deliberate not only against Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his wife but everybody that believe in Asiwaju’s politics and leadership and therefore should be called to order.
Hon. Gbolahan Yishawu stated that his utterances shows that he has disdain for women, urging the Senate to activate disciplinary action that will forestall and curb future occurrence related to this shameful act.
Fayose is learning quickly from the dictator in Aso Rock who engineered Jibrin's suspension for blowing the whistle on his budget padding paddy, Speaker Dogara. Any zombie who still believes that Buhari is fighting CORRUPTION is on to a loooonnnnnnnnggggggg thing.
TheGoodJoe: Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala and GEJ armed the governors by using the money from the ECA without accountability.
Bringing Tinubu into this is cheap and low.
The point you tried to evade is simple. Would the governors collect the money if GEJ and Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala acted with integrity? No.
The governors took the FG to court because they had proof the FG and Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala took money without appropriation.
The above was what he said- that the 36 governors approached the court since the FG took money without appropriation. When I asked him to show links to the court case, he knew his LIES had caught him out and started shitting and peeing in his pants.
TheGoodJoe: They were not interested in whether the FG should not take the money. That was the proof they wanted to collect their own.
That is why I am against Partisan ties. Those who lost were not the FG, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, State governors or Chairmen of LGs. It was the masses that lost.
The masses did not lose as we had regular fuel supply due to subsidies being paid. Those who lost are the zombies who believed the LIES that money for subsidy was taken illegally when it was NOT. If you have contrary facts of court adjudication of illegal withdrawals, share or stop spreading LIES.
TheGoodJoe: Out of point. We are talking why we could not save during a windfall. We could saved because of OBJ'S political will to save. He treated the money with leadership and integrity. GEJ and Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala did not.
Who are the WE? The money in the Federation Account is jointly owned by the:
- 774 LGAs, - 36 states and the - federal government.
Do you agree Ebola Owu treated no money with integrity as he was a bloody thief and rogue himself. Pleas explain to us how a thief can treat money with integrity?
Nigeria's Obasanjo, his Untouchables, and the $16 Billion Power Scam
Senator Roland Owie has blasted ex President Olusegun Obasanjo over his perceived posture to influence the incoming administration of President-elect, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari.
Reacting to a Think-tank report submitted to Buhari by a team of technocrats put together by Obasanjo, Owie described the document as needless.
In a statement issued in Abuja on Sunday, Owie, who is also a former Chief Whip of the Senate, asked: ”How can Obasanjo be preparing a blueprint for Buhari? A Bini parable says, ‘how can an impotent man get medicine for his brother, who suffers weak erection?’”
Expressing disappointment at Buhari’s romance with Obasanjo, Owie said “Obasanjo will tell the world that the solutions he prescribed for fixing Nigeria were ignored.”
Continuing he said, “I just read that Obasanjo’s think-tank has submitted a blueprint to Buhari. Blue what?
“I am shocked that great Nigerians of the likes of Prof. Akin Mabogunje, Dr. Idika Kalu and Dr. Christopher Kolade were involved. That Obasanjo is linked to the blue-print, it will be a document of blackmail to Buhari very soon.
“Wonders will never end! How can Obasanjo who allegedly wasted eight years in government pursuing perceived enemies, and tried to ruin the legislative and judiciary arms of government in Nigeria; wasted $16 billion on power and not a single kilowatt of energy was produced, destroyed Aladja Steel, Itakpe Steel, Ajaokuta Steel, NITEL, just to mention a few FGN parastatals, now begin to advise Buhari?
“How can Obasanjo, whose government received, in one year, a revenue equivalent of the total revenue that IBB regime received in eight years, yet, nothing to show for it, be handing over blue-print to the in-coming administration?
