When whites treat him and you as trashy, fantastically corrupt dwellers of a shithole continent, and you start wailing buckets, shouting racism, should anyone pity you?
fergie001: Precisely, 1,176,496 people with PVCs refused to vote on election day. The minority decided who runs the state for the next four years. Voter apathy has become a recurring decimal across national and sub-national elections in Nigeria. This election only reinforced this position.
This is terrible for our politics, especially with those who refuse being the greatest wailers for dividends of democracy. Democracy that they did not work for. Sowed nothing but want to reap something. Are they also thieves like the politicians they criticise?
Would the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) be doing anything about voter apathy? Your guess is better than ours.
Why should INEC do anything about it? Moghalu, Ezekwesili, Utomi, Durotoye, Sowore and the other jobless noisemakers should do that from now with massive sensitisation schemes instead of being emergency candidates six months to the elections.
eyoohood: Just know one thing for sure, the only difference between apc and pdp is there name. They are the same people. The same ambition (rooting). Let me explain, if for instance one of the big weight like buhari or tinibu pulled out of the apc, and form a more powerful party, the remaining apc you go and form alliance with pdp to challenge them. Secondly, if for instance, we the youths realized how we have been used by these same old cargos in the name of apc and pdp and form a very strong political party strong enough to dethrone them, the next thing you will hear is for them to start campaigning against us that we the youths are fraudstars that we have nothing to offer or them forming alliance (APD) to fight us. Am very tired of hearing the news of this apc and pdp. We the youths need to wake up and fight before it's too late.
You are very correct. Time for action. No time to waste wailing forever.
jidamsel43: The victory of Obaseki is a never a vote of confidence on PDP but a result of divided home
Consolation for the party of rogues, Association of Past/Present Criminals, APC. Should all their hands not be chopped off to save them from using bullion vans and babanriga for stealing our money?
Donlamzy: If them like make them reunite or remarry or “re” anything, come 2023, GSM is going back to that office by the special grace of God, na man he be , #Oyo no be Lagos
Una don start again. Do you want ThiefNuibu to commit suicide by killing himself ni?
BrutusOj: But wait oo, no be Dele Momodu be that? I see why Davido called him his boy, the man is hustling hard now. The ovation of those days wouldn't have time for this kind of ngbeke wey Biggie threw out of his house for misbehaving.
Dele Momodu has always been a hustler licking the asss of rogues and thieves for any crumb they can throw his way like a hungry dog. That was how he joined the packaging crew for Barawo Bubu, thinking that he will be made a minister, only to lead us into suffering and smiling galore.
hilariousdammie: Media mogul, Dele Momodu, is super excited about Muhammadu Buhari‘s APC Presidential primary win.
He took to Instagram a few minutes ago, congratulating Buhari on the victory with picture below with inscription: “#ANewNigeria Congratulations Nigerians! The Saviour is here”
SweetJoystick: I like his guts, Ambode na real weakling....by the way na south west him dey play godfather
Ambode was greedy from the onset when ThiefNuibu used him to settle scores with Fashola and pocketed him from the get go. That is how the JagaBandit keeps the juicy tabs on Lagosians, his beasts of burden. Ambode na super simp beside Ozo BBN.
ZombieNation: The canker worm Tinubu was the first governor to turn state house of assemblies to rubber stamps.
The Lagos state national assembly passed a pension bill for elected officials which included Tinubu.
Under the bill, Lagos is saddled with maintaining Tinubu for the rest of his life on the prevailing full salary a sitting governor is entitled to.
The pension bill for Tinubu also includes choice properties bought and paid for by the state in Abuja, Lagos and abroad.
Tinubu also has the choice of 5 executive cars to be replaced every 5yrs.
Recall also that Tinubu is on record to be the only elected governor in the history of modern democracy to have had 4 deputies in 8yrs!
The man is a rotten egg who spear headed corruption in Nigeria to new levels and the financial bankruptcy of acn states under his leprosy grip is evidence of his systematic kleptomaniac.
Nbotee: He was making sense until he mentioned Buhari's honesty and Patriotism But talk true, did d pastor contest? Dey only used his pictures for the campaign posters..
You mean PASTA Iya Mumu? Oshi-omo-Ole used him to score points just as ThiefNuibu used Ribadu and Fola Adeola to score points in 2011 under ACN.
He wont. They are ready to unleash their pain of rigging and remote control on Ondo. Barawo Bubu and his Association of Past/Present Criminals, APC are wicked, demonic souls sucking the blood of the people as they loot our commonwealth.
deantimes: Muhammadu Buhari, Nigeria’s President, has reportedly said his party, the All Progressive Congress (APC) won last year’s governorship election in Osun with the help of remote control.
Mr President is quoted as making the above statement on Saturday when he visited traditional rulers in the state seeking their endorsement for his re-election.
The governorship election conducted by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in September was won by the APC although the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) took early lead.
A rerun election which was later conducted in the areas believed to be the stronghold of Senator Iyiola Omisore, the governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) saw the ruling party leading the opposition party.
Mr Omisore, POLITICS TIMES recalls, had entered into alliance with the APC to deliver his stronghold to the party. This was after he met a delegation of the PDP seeking similar help from him.
“I know how much trouble we had in the last election here,” Buhari was quoted by TheGuardian as saying while addressing the traditional rulers at the banquet hall of Osun State Government House.
“I know by remote control through so many sources how we managed to maintain the party (APC) in power in this state,” he added.
The president at the meeting did not elucidate clearly what he meant by remote control.
cuteboy2: When they could not fight Boko Haram on ground, they resorted to deceiving us with video game clips of imaginary Boko Haram camps being destroyed from the air. Let them continue with the lies, the deception will not last forever
SignalNG1: December 23, 2015 The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, said on Wednesday that the Nigerian military had met the December deadline to defeat the Boko Haram terrorists.
The minister said this during his maiden meeting with editorial heads of media houses in Lagos.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that President Mohammadu Buhari had, upon assuming office, issued a December 31 deadline to the military to defeat the Boko Haram terrorists.
“Today, I can report that the war against Boko Haram is largely won.
“I can confidently say this because just recently, I led a group of 33 journalists from both the local and international media to the hot bed of the insurgency, that is, Maiduguri, Kondugua, Kaoure and Bama.
“Today, I can report to you that the entire 70 plus kilometres stretch from Maiduguri to Bama and all the way to Banki which leads to Cameroun and the Central African Republic are in the hands of our gallant troops.”
He said the military presence could be felt ”every few metres along the road; at a point along that road we were just a kilometre to Sambisa forest.
“They have so degraded the capacity of Boko Haram that the terrorists can no longer hold on to any territory just as they can no longer carry out any spectacular attack.”
Mohammed, however, said that though there were still cases of suicide bombings, it was pertinent to note that such was the nature if insurgency globally.
“Unlike a war between two armies, an insurgency never ends with arms victory
“Even in countries like Colombia where insurgency was supposed to have ended decades ago, attacks like this still happen.”
He said that the insurgents had adopted a new style of attacking soft targets like motor parks, schools, entertainment centres, religious centres, killing innocent people mostly women and children.
He, therefore, urged Nigerians to support the military in the fight against terrorism in the country, saying that the military had availed itself creditably.
“It is our turn as civilians to give them our support; to realise that the war they are fighting is not their war alone, but our war, hence we must own the war.”
The minister disclosed that a national security campaign had commenced to raise awareness among Nigerians about the war, the sacrifices of our troops, and how to stamp out the remnant of the war.
“Jingles are being played on national radio and television as part of the campaign in order to keep the media better informed about the war, so that they can also better inform Nigerians,’’ he said.
Mohammed also said that an ad-hoc committee, comprising media representatives as well as intelligence agencies, would be inaugurated to regularly be updated about the war in order to better inform the public. (NAN)
phayvoursky: Ok. We de try sha. Na to buy aircraft carrier remain
Not to send children to school and identify excellent ones for universities and research for industrial facilities to build helicopters, aircrafts and aircraft carriers for export to other countries? Do you feel inferior to the Russians and other whites as well as Asians who build such things
PRESIDENT Goodluck Jonathan yesterday in Maiduguri, accused Borno State Elders of playing to the gallary over the activities of Boko Haram Islamic sect insurgency in the state, describing the situation as unfortunate.
Jonathan spoke during an interactive session with Borno State stakeholders at the Multi-Purpose Hall, Government House Maiduguri, in continuation of his two- day working visit to Borno and Yobe States, the epicentres of Boko Haram.
He was responding to requests by the Elders for the Federal Government to grant amnesty to the sect members as well as withdraw the military Joint Task Force, JTF from Maiduguri and other areas in the state during the second day of his working visit to Borno State..
President Jonathan lamented that none of the elders in the state had publicly condemned the killings and bombings being carried out by the sect members and advised them to put their ‘’house in order,’’ by talking to their children who had been causing havoc in the country to drop their arms against the country.
Buhari faults crackdown on Boko Haram JUNE 3, 2013
Presidential candidate for the Congress for Progressive Change in the 2011 Presidential election, Maj.-Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd), has frowned on the emergency rule in parts of the North. He alleged that innocent civilians were being killed in the states.
Buhari speaking during a Liberty FM Hausa Service Programme, Guest of the Week, on Sunday in Kaduna said that Boko Haram members were being killed and their houses demolished unlike the “special treatment” given to the Niger Delta militants by the Federal Government.
Racoon: So elections are no more to be determined by people but by hook or crooked means? Imagine Hope Uzodinma talking this rubbish? It is now obvious that the APC is the most useless set of people that this nation have ever had.
Yes, with Barawo Bubu's integrity in the Association of Past/Present Criminals, APC that is the new normal. Remote control and pain of rigging for inconclusive elections.

cuteboy2: This is the third time this fraudulent government will be removing subsidy on petroleum products and implementing full deregulation of downstream sector.
Before 2023, Buhari will still deregulate and and remove subsidy again. Very clueless and deceptive government. Telling lies is a central policy framework of this government
Not staying strong with subsidy removal in 2012 is the worst mistake GEJ has ever made.
The thing is that the cronies that have been siphoning our funds via petroleum subsidy are the ones in power since 2015. This is why they will not be named.
The simple truth is the this government could not maintain them and the lenders will not give out their money to Nigeria only for the loans to be used to service the cronies.
Period!
Staying strong with ThiefNuibu and his media dogs distorting the whole narrative? Puleeeeeeaaaaaasssssseeeee.
