The salaries and allowances of workers in the Ministry of Petroleum Resources and four other parastatals have been set at N74.65 billion in 2020. This is according to budget estimates presented to the National Assembly by President Muhammadu Buhari.

The beneficiaries of this largesse include workers from the Ministry of Petroleum Resources while the four parastatals represented are the Department of Petroleum Resources, (DPR); Petroleum Training Institute, (PTI); Petroleum Products Pricing Regulatory Agency, (PPPRA) and the Nigeria Nuclear Regulatory Authority, (NNRA).

The highest salary beneficiaries are the workers of DPR. N37.52 billion was budgeted for the agency as personnel cost, representing 50.26% of the total personnel cost of the entire industry.

Workers of the PTI will get N14.86 billion, representing 19.91% of the total allocation. The staff of the PPPRA, NNRA, and Ministry of Petroleum Resources (Headquarters) are to collect N11.21 billion, N10.37 billion and N690.16 million as salaries, accounting for 15.02%, 13.89% and 0.92% of total personnel cost of the ministry.

There was no such thing as a written petition against the DPR. Even the union couldn’t stop the DPR from giving out letters to the first batch.
Everything you see playing out today was well planned. You can never see them coming, the more you look the less you see. The former committee in charge of the recruitment headed by the retired DD Safety& Environment and Ladan knew the exact period the second batch will receive APL.
The activities that took place between July to September was the investigation and weeding out of some incompetent graduate trainees and corrupt senior officers as well as confirmation of the new recruits.
I want you to know this, Alhaji Shakur and Waplang may spread false information in a bid to protect the interest of merit candidates and avoid external pressure.

Dates have and dropped several times here and failed. The latest is second week in December which is just a few days away.

The July saga taught me a lesson. Anything can change. The APLS of the second batch was supposed to be out in July, infact it was slated for that month with resumption in September but someone wrote a powerful petition to the authorities and this sent shivers down their spines. They had no other choice than to suspend it. DPR is not under any pressure to release the list, I don't know why. Not even this December or January

That statement in bold was the main reason they (The DPR) released a statement that the recruitment ended in 2018.

Eventually, someone is saying the truth.
What I failed to post here was that, when I came back to swallow my words concerning the 2nd list I once believed doesn't exist, I actually reached out to someone who changed my perspective about it. She categorically told me the 2nd list is real, when I asked when to expect it, she told me sternly, NO ONE KNOWS, JUST GO AND WAIT.
It just hurts me so much that some people come here to peddle things that are untrue.

1. The DPR is done equipping various operational offices. Well furnished for the incoming batch.
2. Testimony will start rolling in by Nov.
3. Resumption is officially January but you can actually move in by December.
4. All the candidates shortlisted by Baba Ladan are all intact, more names where only added to it.
5. 13 names was meant for replacement but it's now 41 for replacement while others where from the interview which make it 200+.
6. The 41 replaced names comprise of applicants who fail to resume and those with questionably certificate. The names Shakur collected from the PRESIDENCY and NASS is slated for replacement.

The deputy directors at that time were given only one slot due to pressure from external forces. Assistant directors and the others below were neglected in the first batch.

The silence from these people is deafening, now that the so-called November is about to end and no sign of APLs yet. Well, I am not surprised, they said more than this around June-July, even told us to forget about the recruitment if nothing happens. One of them even apologized on behalf of DPR for the delay and told us to expect APL. LOL.
It still baffles me how some people still thirst for "update" when nothing they've said/have been saying for over 1year has checked out.

The APLs will come when no one knows, till then, you all should chill.

As a matter of fact only shakur knows when the second batch(less than 50 names) will be called, or maybe she is indeed shakur in that case i have my reservations. Second batch is real, and there is no single candidate on the said list who is purely on MERIT, If you rely on just MERIT to be on that list then im sorry, that ship has sailed long ago. Evrything has been concluded and they are just waiting for shakur to give them signal to call the second batchers. All the best.

LOL. If the APLs are truly ready as claimed, then a date/time frame for calling of successful "MERIT" candidates will be known because the APL will carry dates which has to be followed, except the department wouldn't mind printing the adjusted APLs over and over again.

Consequently, the department has been typing, editing and re-printing APLs since like July of this year, if some people's info is to be followed. LMAO
