bigwig071:Don't mind him, a nobody in the '80s and '90s, he come dey form that na him father borrowed him money. For where! His father was never a wealthy man, but a modest, humble and content businessman. FO was a guy man, who rode on the opportunity of his Father's name and government connections to achieve success, and got consolidated when Obasanjo came to power... Then he was reckless with it. He was spending the National cake like no man's business, buying private jets, etc that he couldn't maintain. He was way too reckless also borrowing so much from banks, likewise, Dangote and their likes... They are all Government padi... Nigeria has always been run by oligarchs- Padi, padi government promoting crooks... It was Jonathan's administration that eventually wrote off his bad credit....Now the silly crook has fabricated a cock and bull biography for the younger generations to consume... Make we leave story, and talk better things. Wishing him well... It's up to him and his God to judge...😊 |
Concerning Femi's background, it is known that his father managed FON Nigeria Press in Onipan/Mushin, a business of modest scale. Public information suggests that Femi was subject to scrutiny from central banks in 2008 due to defaults on significant loan obligations. It is also understood that his financial situation improved considerably in the early 2000s, following the acquisition of an oil block in 2005. He is perceived by some as an opportunist who benefits from considerable government favour. Adenuga, Dangote, and even Abiola, among others, were similarly favoured by their close associates in positions of power at the time. You are welcome to form your own opinion regarding the accounts presented in Femi's book. However, it is known that Femi's father was not a wealthy individual capable of providing Femi with the sum mentioned. Furthermore, it is known that Femi has an older brother who is an ordinary member of society. |
Femi's Dad was only a Governor for a period of less than a year, like Kemi Olunloyo's father, and a few others! His father was not known to be a wealthy man. It appears that Femi's book may not be entirely accurate, according to those who are familiar with his sources of wealth. Femi and Dangote seem to have been individuals who capitalised on opportunities, gaining access to government assistance in the late 1990s, specifically when Obasanjo came into power. They both benefited from government favours. Femi's father was not wealthy, but he maintained a close friendship with Obasanjo. |
Shikini:The situation is expected to develop further, and it is hoped that Mr. Emefiele will provide insights into the alleged misappropriation of funds. Given his position as a key figure during the previous administration, and the perception of him being a scapegoat, his perspective is crucial. It is believed that widespread corruption occurred within that government, and Mr. Emefiele possesses valuable knowledge regarding the individuals involved. |
sanbell1:His Middle Eastern allies are perpetrating widespread human rights abuses, committing atrocities, causing food shortages, and killing innocent civilians, including medical personnel and children, devastating the Gaza Strip. Your question is valid: what appellation would Mr. Trump have used for Mr. Netanyahu? |
Indeed, the article from Punch News spells inconsistency with their submission. It contradicts its submission in August 2021 (see link) that Nigeria's loans from the World Bank and AFDB surged under the Buhari regime. https://punchng.com/nigerias-loans-from-world-bank-afdb-rise-to-14-35bn-under-buhari/ Furthermore, another online article, Premium Times, October 2021, submitted a detailed publication analysis of Nigerian foreign debt from 1999 to December 2020. The Nigerian debt crisis has worsened under the Burhari regime. It noted that In 2006, "Nigeria became the first African country to settle its public debt under a scheme devised to help the world’s poorest and indebted states. Under former President Olusegun Obasanjo, the country paid off $18 billion to secure forgiveness of its nearly $30 billion debts to the London and Paris clubs of foreign creditors." "But 15 years later, in 2021, Nigeria’s public debt is high again, putting pressure on the government’s revenue and performance." https://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/headlines/489041-inside-nigerias-debt-crisis-how-foreign-loan-under-buhari-triples-past-govts-combined-figure.html?tztc=1 This recent Punch News appears to deliberately maliciously shift the current Nigeria economic crisis solely to the PDP regime. Which is not true. Lanruze: |
Omo, as they say, "action" speaks louder than "words". MR, by all means, drop the meeting point/ location, time, and demonstration agenda so all the aggrieved can follow your lead...😤😡😠😣😭 JASONjnr: |
Wike is an overgrown baby. He hates to be controlled but wants to control a sitting Governor against the interest of River State voters' wishes. He deserves a hall of shame... hurryup123: |
SLS, is an incompetent crook. He is supposed to be locked up in jail or beheaded for all his fraudulent dealings as CBN governor... That man is shameless and a liar... Wonder if he has any conscience... l guess not...😭 Kukutente23: |
Indeed, there is no where in the Nigeria law that stated that the incumbent governor should take order from the predecessor. Enough of all these weakness. An elected Governor is only obligated to serve his constituency, not Wike. eweqwatr: |
If WIKE gets you a job at Nigeria Central Bank, would you agree to sell the foreign currencies to him at 50% below its actual market value despite the detriment to the Nigeria's foreign reserves? And you agree to face EFCC alone if they knock on your door. I guess not. Right? Nevertheless, l consider all Nigerian politicians morally bankrupt, no exception. However, WIKE is fighting a shameless, dirty fight and exposing the rot among Nigerian politicians. One thing is sure: when two elephants fight, the ground suffers. Rivers State is the victim of WIKE's greedy act. fuckJones: |
It's about time you learn that nothing in life is constant, political power is transient. This is Nigeria, not your father's house. River State is not for sale. It's about time political conflicts caused by godfatherism are tackled in Nigeria. Enough is enough. What is the essence of an election if all we have is puppet leaders... There is no need for this back and forth, tennis debate... everyman for himself, God for us all.. Mr, be patient, wait to see the outcome of Ahmed Ododo... In VDM voice, "you/ he will learn the hard way"...😊 Are you aware when Fubara worked under Wike, he declared wanted by Efcc and it was Wike who used the state house to shield him Most of you supporting Fubara are just bitter obedient who want to get back at WIKE for Peter Obi lost ![]() When Obaseki was fighting Oshiomole we all thought it was an end to godfatherism, is Obaseki different from what he fought against, will Fubara not become the wike he is fighting today
|
Father4all:That is the bone of contention here. WIKE is greedy. He wants to rule in proxy, control everything/ siphon Rivers State financial resource like no tomorrow with his loyalists. While it would be the sitting Governor who would take the rap/blame. Governor Fubara could have being selected by Wike, but that would not be a defence when EFCC started probing him of mismanagement of the state funds by Wike and his loyalist... Governor Fubara should fight on, use whatever it takes to free himself from external control/ manipulation by Wike and his loyalists... |
Thanks, Doyin, for this constructive criticism. Indeed, l wonder what the alleged amended mention in the death toll is supposed to mean. Does it change the fact that several innocent lives were killed? It's sad seeing Human beings thinking like animals... A death of a smaller percentage of innocent lives is a death number too many. #nomorewar... Nothing can mask the fact of genocide committed by the Israeli( IDF) terrorist group. I wonder what reduction in highly debatable statistics ,would do to diminish the fact that Israel is illegally occupying lands and territories ,via unprecedented terrorism. A terrorist calling a resistant group ,terrorists. You drove people away from their place of birth and expect no resistance and stupidly call theterroristsst. The Israelis are the real terrorists. You can read about Jewish terrorism below: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jewish_extremist_terrorism
|
MrBrownJay1:. Credit History is considered if your name has been on the electoral system for over three years. Other factors of financial stability are considered. And more importantly, the amount of your deposit towards your desired property would help the bank to evaluate your application. Buying property in England for an immigrant, put aside, a UK citizen is not as straightforward as a novice thinks... In summary, a consistent immigration status, financial stability built with a good salary paying job, financial deposits, and a good credit history with your name on the electoral system for a few years more than 24 months. Anything less than this must be explained explicitly to cross-check the authenticity of your testimony. |
It is a fact that anyone can identify the registration of an aircraft from the side of the fuselage near the rear of the plane or on the tail or fuselage-mounted engine. It may also be located under the left wing. The registration number display is searched on a registered public domain for information on the aircraft and its registered keeper. The private jet that flies Davido is registered to a jet-hired company. Period. It's economically advisable to charter a private jet if you and your crew frequently travel from one place to another... And you could also request for the same aircraft as well. Davido or his family does not own a private jet... it's all hire jet... the operational and maintenance cost of keeping a private jet is financially unviable. Most private jets are leased for a period of time... as it is not an everyday use. |
Daddy Freeze, only added that sarcasm in his message. The direct message is a piece of advice to men to date a reasonable, decent lady, not a petulant/ unreasonable lady who laid instant conditions and demands whenever you meet them, such as buy me this, pay for this, etc. Those are recipes for unhealthy relationships. That was why Daddy Freeze added sarcastically that men should demand in return that he requires a wealthy lady to pay for his monthly allowance, too...😂 simply means two can play the game... If a lady can put a value (condition) on her pussy to date a man, Daddy Freeze says Men can put a value on their dick, too...😂 |
Yoruba Egungun custom is a parade of unique, elaborate, colourful customs that symbolise a traditional festival organised by traditional rulers in conjunction with the police and local authority's permission before the event. That short video clip looks more or less like a single person wearing a mascot custom to misbehave. He deserved to be punished. I wonder why he is wearing that silly custom in public? |
Birds of a feather flock together. Foolish and proud over nothing..... You said it all... Indeed, birds of the same feather flock alike... For Israel to endorse his friend's insult to his estranged wife and her family on his Instagram page speaks volumes about Israel's character. At this stage, Albert, Israel's friend, might as well find Israel another wife. Time will tell if Israel can genuinely live peacefully with any woman. Certainly, there are two sizes to the story. The wife disclosed that Israel does not even respect his parent. Israel exposed himself by bringing his martial issues online. Having read both problems, unfortunately, Israel owns most of the blame. It is obvious a man who acts obsequiously to rich person(s)... He equally wants to feel important to his wife and her parents, walk all over them and talk to them with a lack of respect ... Silly guy; he thinks he can buy people with the bit of money he has... Anyone who knows how to read faces can tell Israel would only act a fool to a rich person. He is self-centred and cares only about his dough. I hope the young lady learns her lesson and realises she marries a terrible person. She had better listen to her gut feeling and file for divorce quickly before she gets pregnant by a useless man like Israel. Israel is a damaged person. He can not change... |
The headline is deceiving; The picture did not show that the car wash person sustained any injury. Therefore, the headline is obviously not an accurate description of the incident. The headline should have been, "car wash person arrested for causing damages to a customer's car". |
festacman:Indeed, it doesn't sound loving at all. It was a lack of personal feeling towards the dead husband. She goofed on this one. It is either she doesn't know how to communicate emotionally and respectfully, or her feelings for the young man are missing.... Whichever, referring to her dead husband as Nigga, shows a lack of love for him... |
07kjb:So, who should they use as a scapegoat? This is not street/ media judgment. Circumstances surrounding his death must be established, just as the case of Micheal Jackson, Deigo Maradon's death. In June 2009, Jackson died of a prescription drug overdose. Dr Conard Murray was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter in the death of Jackson in November 2011, and was sentenced to four years in prison. Eight healthcare professionals will stand trial over the death of football great Diego Maradona, who died in 2020, an Argentinian court ruled in April 2023. |
Traditional rulers have argued that these days, they are no-longer subjected to their forefather's rudimentary practices, such as Kings do not leave their palaces to attend frivolous events. They would/ should have sent their delegates to avoid such shame in public. Their stool is no longer held in high esteem since they are appointed and receive their salary from the government. Sadly, Traditional rulers cannot have their cake and eat it too. The only challenge here is for traditional rulers to realise their glory days are ending. Their purpose and essence are under scrutiny in these modern times. So they either start by following the traditional rules laid down by their forefathers, or more of such contempt would be thrown at them. |
“The prosecution will like to bring to the knowledge of my lord that in collaboration with our international partners, we have been able to apprehend the defendant." Arrested where, when, and why was he not presented at the court on 15 May? The case had been adjourned to 3 July. In 2 weeks, we shall see if this news is true or not We shall see who is deceived who soon..😂 |
NijaDueprocess:It took us more than five years to finally kick a stubborn tenant out of the property last week. It took that long because of some silly circumstances beyond our control, among which are hesitation from our side and delayed court processes, one of which you have mentioned. Such as almost falling into the trap of using illegal means to evict the stubborn tenant. My advice is to seek the advice of a lawyer who specialises in evicting tenants and pursuing that process only. If you do something illegal rather than court proceedings, you will be surprised how you will find yourself in court for unlawful house eviction. As this will slow down the court eviction process and gives the tenant legitimate reasons to attack your eviction processes in court. You need to be patient and follow the court guidance only. I repeat only! Sincerely, the COVID lockdown allows the court proceeding to drag for too long. Ours was long because the stubborn tenant kept appealing the court verdict for no apparent reason. If you follow the lawyer's guidance, give and take, the process should be less than four years. The court eventually gave the final eviction notice and the court bailiffs and police officers kicked out the stubborn tenant. All his stuff was dumped outside the house and even rained on later that day. He was thoroughly shamed out of the property. |

Omooba77:"GC" could be hereditary when parents subconsciously pass certain innate behavior to their offspring. This unfortunately predicts some behavior patterns in their children's lives. However, this "GC" can be corrected. if the individual affected discovers the root cause of their problem; which could be influenced by a combination of different social factors, such as upbringing, lifestyle, and environment. Solutions could be a change in the environment, lifestyle, education or even being adopted by a different family. Another solution could be if psychologists are allowed to identify and counsel families that exhibit some outrageous sociological problems in society. Perhaps, the so-called "GC", could be corrected at an early stage in life, depending on the parameter of how family sociological problems are evaluated. Nevertheless, a general review of anything in life always brings the need for a change and fresh start. The only difficult task is that family members, hardly agree that there is a problem or "GC" with their family. Therefore it all boils down to the formal solution; an individual person who wants a change from their conventional family lifestyle has to seek the change themselves. |

In Nairamarley's voice."Ole ni everybody!" Partisan "EFCC" taking the moral high ground, by dishing out half baked sentiments. Let it be known that.. Money is the root of all evil. What is good for the Nigerian politicians (embezzlement) is also good for those who do not want to die being broke. YAHOO is the Babalawo... meaning they come in all shapes and sizes. (politicians or fraudsters) are the same. They will always regroup and innovative till the end of time... just like in the "Godfather" movie. "Great men are not born great, they grow great". Simply said, they cheat the system. In the world we live in, you are praised for being rich either way..... those who get caught are called "barawo".. |
