ogugua88: O di kwa nma. I posted the video to discuss whatever pertained to the artists involved and video though. I don't know how we went from "Chop My Money" and video standards to Frank Edwards and Nigerian Gospel lol. Start a thread on it so that more people can discuss it with you. I don't know how many people you can discuss gospel with in a "Chop My Money" thread. Unless the people you are discussing with are pastors, then the thread is very relevant lol.

hello i need your help on one of my threads I can't access. It is called the top ten most beautiful Nollywood actresses, I started this thread last year august and their was never a issue with the thread but when I wanted to access it a few days ago, it was put under hidden I never did anything to the thread or anything. The thread is on the celebrity section. I have complained to you through email 3 times but nothing was fixed or changed(I don't understand why there is no section where you complain to people about these problems in general). There are so many derogatory threads all over nairaland in every section without these threads being hidden, stopped and etc but mine that is innocent is hidden. Can you please help me with this because I don't no where else to go, to get my thread back thank you

michelin89: Going offtopic is against the rules and might cause the deletion of some of your posts. There are times moderators make mistakes by closing a thread instead of another or by locking and linking a thread to another that has nothing to do with it.

Of course I'll be pleased if you come up to show me where I have made a mistake, but when it's done inside that particular thread it becomes a hot mess. Offtopics can't be tolerated, so I myself must be cautioned.

So if you have complaints about anything you don't find good or you think there are errors that need to be corrected, use this thread to get in touch with me, Otherwise send me an e-mail and I'll fix the problem as soon as I can.

The tiff began when Hamm (best known as Don Draper on AMC's "Mad Men" gave an interview with the U.K.'s Elle magazine. Hamm apparently has a problem with reality TV culture. "Whether it's Paris Hilton or Kim Kardashian or whoever, stupidity is certainly celebrated," Hamm said. He continued, "Being a [expletive] idiot is a valuable commodity in this culture... You're rewarded significantly."

Not surprisingly, Kardashian was none too pleased by the statement. The reality star took to Twitter to voice her own opinion. "Calling someone who runs their own businesses, is a part of a successful TV show, produces, writes, designs, and creates, 'stupid,' is in my opinion careless."

Taking the high road, Kardashian then says, "I respect Jon, and I am a firm believer that everyone is entitled to their own opinion and that not everyone takes the same path in life. We're all working hard, and we all have to respect one another."
We looked at some of the more than 3,700 comments from Yahoo! TV readers, and a great many side with Hamm. Deb from White Rock, Canada, writes: "THANK YOU JON!! I agree 100%. These so called 'reality' shows encourage and applaud bad behavior and influence our kids in the most negative ways possible. These everyday people have become a media hit due only to their controversy not their talent. It's shameful."

Another reader writes, "As much as I liked Jon Hamm before . . . I like him even more now." Similar sentiments were posted by thousands of others. "I am now an even bigger Jon Hamm fan! Kudos to him," writes a poster. "AMEN!!! Well said Jon Hamm. Thank you for stating what millions of us feel," a third writes.

But Kardashian does have her defenders. "You don't make that kind of money unless people are willing to pay for your products. I don't think they're stupid at all, but enterprising and playing a rare streak of good fortune. It's not like they're being paid out of your tax dollars."[/b]

I don't think he is hating, he is just telling the truth. I think many people now a days are mixing up the difference between hate and telling the honest truth and John Hamm is spot on, and many people are agreeing with him. John hamm is a wealthy actor and part of the hollywood elite why would he hate or be jealous of the two to be honest if he wasn't wealthy and etc then you may have points but for the fact he is known in Hollywood and respected in Hollywood in a show that has won many Emmys and golden globes I feel this has nothing to do with hate, he is telling the truth.

nene1: The AFRICAN black players mostly have african wives It is the black CARIBBEAN and AMERICAN athletes who marry white. With the fame and money Drogba and Eto have, they could have easily married a white girl, but they chose to go back home.

Other African players like Kolo Toure, Yaya Toure, and Frederic Kanoute all have african wives, but their wives are moe private so it is hard to find a picture of them. Also, I know Akon is not an athelete, but I think he also has african wives, but wants to keep them out of the spotlight.  I haven't seen him publicly claiming any woman as his wife though.

African men generally prefer african women. They can't live without all that good food.

Anyway, this reminded be that the African nations cup coming up this weekend. I cannot wait to see all my favorite players on one field again.
