The ios system has no use for sd cards, their apps and cache sizes are the largest and that community shoots the highest number of 4k videos on their phones. Why aren't they complaining ? Cos 256gb iPhones are everywhere.128gb iPhone 7 plus is looking like a standard now

This will spread to the Android world within 2 years seeing as their base storages are higher than ios.

The only reason Samsung reintroduced sd card was because of the tiny 32gb and the very scarce 64gb s6/s7. Let 128gb and 256gb Samsung phones become popular among flagships and the only place you'd find sd cards are on mid rangers...

Maybe headphone jack will eventually be phased out but I don't see that happening with SD cards. Samsung already tried it with the galaxy s6 but returned it with the s7. The competition with Android phones is very tense and companies from China are releasing cheaper phones with great specs, they will keep supporting use of SD cards as an added bonus to try and break the market. Xiaomi is already finding it's way to the top, Huawei already no 3, I don't see these companies yanking the SD card yet.

I'm talking about flagships...

Within a year or two, every major flagship will be shipped with 128gb base storage. OEMs will swap out those useless spaces for something more premium and up their prices once more...

I can barely fill my 64gb phone that has no sd card support. Mobile phone not Hard disk.

I rest my case with this research of less than 2mins that one would have carried out than making such absolute assertions of the impossibility of combining an i3 with 2tb add. I reiterate, your processor has negligible connection to hard drives, it works more with the RAM. Just that the RAM copies info faster from SSD faster than SATA faster than IDE. Have a splendid holiday.

Check Lenovo.com for the official specs or the mega suppliers like Amazon. An i3 with 2TB SSD can't be sold that cheap (80k or so in naira). An SSD of that storage is more expensive than this Lenovo laptop. They don't attach 2TB SSD with core i3.

A Pentax k30 with 18-55mm lens which is exactly what you're advertising can be easily gotten for $400 in Amazon, less on eBay. There are *target markets* for the iPhone, regardless of the fact that it's a luxurious brand, and it's not exclusively for the rich (as you're expecting) but for those who definitely need it. Lemme give two cases for you to better understand the target market of the iPhone.

1. A particular blogger has humble beginnings, he started blogging when his mom gifted him a macbook for his birthday. After two years, he wants to start YouTube vlogging, and he needs a phone that he could use for streaming videos: given he's already in the Apple ecosystem by using a macbook, he is better off buying an iPhone XS, XR, or XS max, because it is a device that has the quality of camera he definitely needs, and has an OS that would perfectly complement his Macbook; all his contents are seamlessly synced across. Sure, he could buy cheaper android devices for his vlogging needs, but it's "penny wise, pound foolish" since he might have to sacrifice some certain features.

This is another big point: The Social Media Market

IOS is infinitely better than androids when it comes to social media. From the gram to the Snap, tweet and chat; their apps are vastly superior. You don edit video for iPhone as against an Android? The difference is night and day...

People know what they want and that's why they spend to get it and then enjoy it. That's a target market...

You look at cheap phones, features and using the remaining change to "secure your future". That is not Apple's target market

IPhones are the best selling phones in the world which more than defines the word "commoner". Everybody uses one. Over 1billion IPhones are being used on earth. Does that scream rich to you?

Target market simply means they have a product that is premium and sold towards people that would spend more on form over function. Plus, their closed OS screams exclusivity. Is it your market? No. You are like most androids, nagging over price value and placing function over form. That is not Apple's business: making cheap phones for everybody. Mbanu.

Moreso, they aren't forcing anybody to buy. Remove headphone jack, they sell. Remove fingerprint, they sell, remove adapters and force you to buy fast chargers. Guess what? People queue outside to buy them. They're the best selling phone in the used market in Nigeria. Izzit for you? No. Then, wetin be your headache?


Lastly, you're wrong about rich people not using high tech phones or spending lavishly. That's the reason they are rich. Most times, they have 3 phones or more.
