The Harvilon mf35 doesn't give me options of network switch and the e5537cs-606 has a crappy battery life.

All this one Na story. SAMSUNG flagships still has SD slots even with Their flagships and their slots can even carry more powerful SD cards. The note 9 has an inbuilt memory or 128gb and 512gb and still has a memory card slot that can take another 500gb. So all these small rats should go and find out how Sammy does it and stop asslicking Apple .

It's not by code ooo,, the code only works to check if the hardware parts are functioning not to verify originality
.. its only by great intelligence like Mikky has if you are very familiar with Samsung phones.. I can also spot a fake Samsung phone only by playing around the menu..

Also the best accurate way is by installing an app like CPU_Z to display the chipset used to make the phone..
Samsung phones are usually Exynos and Snapdragon
Fake are MTK

CPU Z is one

The only other surest way is by putting the phone in download mode. Any fake one will be in Chinese and the model number will be different. If the seller disagrees on the CPU Z, I just do this one and go in peace...

Huawei phones or at least the upcoming flagship won't be using SD card. They're using their company's proprietary storage. Is that SD card?

If a company decides to use 2.5mm headphone jack rather than 3.5mm, does that mean they're still using the standard headphone jack?

The mistake u are making is there are several OEMs that make Android phones. All of them want to get on top of the food chain so if the ones that are already at the top decide to bail out, there are many others waiting to take over by giving users what they want. That is the beauty of Android. It's not like iOS where apple give u what they think is good enough and users have no options.

And the mistake you're making is the ones that are waiting to take over don't have SD cards on their flagships. Xiaomi has not had it for years and their sales are quadrupling, same as Oneplus. That's not the feature that's making customers buy more of their phones obviously...

Even the Mate 20 pro coming up will be using a proprietary storage expansion. This is 2018. Nobody prioritizes SD card as the top feature anymore

I hope you do understand where the market is going now...

Secondly iPhone 8, x and xs don't have 128gb version, it's either 64, 256 and then 512gb for the iPhone Xs. Now do u have any database to show that people buy the 256gb version more than the 64gb version? I don't have such database but going on I see more of the 64gb version available.

Moreover, Android is all about options, it's different from iOS where apple give u what they want u to have and not what u want, so I don't see SD card fading away from Android anytime soon.

Everybody wants every feature on their phones. That's a what a poll would show. Make a poll about IR blaster and they want it too. It's basic knowledge

For God's sake, even ios users would say they want sd card. The poll won't give you future OEM plans on their flagships.

I don't understand what is ur point gangan. Don't u know having options is good for the consumers? So having SD card is a win win for the consumers. And last time I checked iPhone Xs has a 64gb version that starts at $1,000. Trust me people using the 64gb version are crying silently especially those that take lots of pictures and videos. Like I said 5 mins 4k video will take nothing less than 1.5gb. There's nothing as convinient as wanting to watch an old movie and just put an SD card containing the movie into ur phone and watch especially when u are going on a long flight without internet to stream. I know about cloud storage but u still need data to access the cloud and downloading it streaming from the cloud could be a challenge. If 64gb is too much for u it shows what kind if user u are, because even some people will tell u 32gb is more than enough for them. For me and many others even 128gb still requires to have an SD card slot, u don't know when that feature might come in handy.

I don't know why u are so convinced that Samsung will take off SD card in the next 1-2 yrs, why not wait and see. But until then enjoy it. And u do realize making 128gb a base version is going to make those phones cost more, before 128gb becomes standard, 64gb needs to be standard, though this year all flagship phones have at least 64gb as standard.

Put a 128gb as the base on an Android flagship phone, remove the sd card and the complaints would be minimal. That's what Samsung and the rest are preparing to do

Every OEM in the world can put sd card and headphone jack in their phones regardless of the size. Now, most OEMS are removing them from their flagships for earlier points stated. Samsung won't be left out of the change even if they can add HDMI port in the phone. SD cards on flagships in 2020? Come on. Lol..

All premium laptops are phasing out USB A ports but it doesn't mean they cannot accommodate them even if most modern day paraphernalia still use it. Everything happens with time. If this scenario doesn't help your thinking, then I don't know what else could

And I have a phone with 64gb inbuilt storage with 32gb SD card and it's getting filled up, I'm thinking of getting another 128gb SD card or at least 64gb card, and I don't even take much pictures or videos and I don't blog. If u take lots of videos or a blogger then even 128gb internal storage will get filled up pretty quick. A 5 mins 1080p video will take up to 500mb, and if u record in 4k a 5 mins video will take like 1.5gb, so tell me how long before 128gb gets filled up. Moreover apps are getting heavier, about 3-4 yrs ago u can hardly see an app that is up to 1gb, but these days some apps take 2-3gb of ur storage.

64gb + 32gb = 96gb. Not up to 128gb base storage. Wetin you dey do do fill up a 128gb phone? Lol

IOS users have survived cos of their large storage phones. It's been a minute I've seen a 64gb iPhone. This is considering, Apple takes more storage than Android in terms of updates, app sizes, caches, 4k videos and closed source limitations.

Make 128gb the base storage on flagships and the 256gb option very popular too and these OEMS will say bye bye memory expansion.

Chinese companies are hardly doing it on their flagships. Huawei is about to jump ship. Samsung has stirred the pot in 2015. What makes you think her and the other OEMS won't join the bandwagon?
