Someone inbox me this claims below I will advise you search and Read the Book "Lets Biafra" as your Submission here is Contrary. Literally the Word Biafra was coinned from the Umuahia ibo dialect"Bia Fra' which Means "Come lets Leave" This Statement spurred when the ibos were been Killed carelessly in the North in the early Stage of the disagreement between Col . Ojukwu and Gen.Yakubu Gowan. Because of this constant barbaric Killings of the Ibos, this Acronym "Biafra" become a Common slogan amongst the which literally Translates to "COME LETS LEAVE FOR HOME" Home here, Meaning back to the Eastern Region of this Country since they were No Longer Safe in the Northern and Southern Regions. |

Biafra isn't an Igbo word nor
coin from Igbo language, it's of Portuguese origin
dating back to the 15th century, in fact, in present day
Portugal, there's a town named Biafra. The word
Biafra was taken from the Bight of Biafra, renamed
Bight of Bonny by Federal Government after the
Biafran Nigerian War to obliterate Biafra from

Politics / Biafra Is Not The Cause Of Nigeria's Problem, It Is A Suggested Solution. by Anseth(m): 1:05am On Oct 21, 2015 |
Why are Nigerans so pussilanimous? Why cannot we
just say it as it is and then having identified the
problem, go about looking for a solution. When Igbos
say they want to secede, is it from the Niger Deltan or
Yoruba? When the Yorubas talk secession, do they
really rejoice at parting ways with Igbos or Niger
Deltans? When Niger Deltans revolt, when Ken Saro
Wiwa spoke and now that Asari speaks, is it not
against "the Gambaris" as he calls them? Who are the
problem of the middle-belt? Who slaughters the
Northern minorities? What tribe or people will see a
movie in the US about Prophet Mohammed and begin
to slaughter people? What people say if their son is
not president they will render the nation ungovernable?
I have been alive long enough to know Yorubas and
Igbos have no problem really. The Yoruba and Igbo
problem is that the Yorubas BETRAY them. From who
do they betray them if not over a certain people? When
Niger Deltans accuse Yorubas and feel betrayed, is it
that they have a problem with Yorubas for being
Yorubas or because Yorubas support a certain tribe?
The issues are clear. We only are afraid to tell this
tribe that they are the problem with Nigeria. Shettima
and I seem to be the only one telling the North..the
core North comprising Haus-Fulani and such other
tribes up North that they are "keeping Nigeria
backward".
Backward, yes backward. They are the ones that will
want to score 2 points out of 400 and still want to
dominate the Federal Unity school or Federal
Universities. They are the ones who will say Western
education is bad and not want to send their children to
school and yet want them to head NNPC and all
agencies including the army and immigration and
Customs.
Head? Yes like a husband in a marriage, an abusive
husband, the brutalize the wife and say "divorce me
and I will kill you". They are the elder brother who
did not go to school yet beats up his brighter younger
brothers and insist on keeping all the father's wealth to
himself. That is the North. Like one Fulani told an
Afenifere during the GEJ Conference, "Independence is
not won in negotiation tables but on battlefields". That
is the type of forced abusive relations that is the
Nigerian marriage FORCED, ABUSIVE NON-
WORKING HUSBAND TAKING ALL THE WIVES
PROPERTIES AND SALARY AND THREATENING TO
KILL HER should she leave him.
Leave him? Gideon Orkar and Ogboru in 1990 excised
certain parts of the North. Go and look at the excised
areas and see if they are not the catchment areas of
murder and Boko Haram.
Boko Haram, are only Northerners Muslims? Are
Middle Belt and Yorubas not Muslims? Have they ever
forced anyone to accept Sharia law and become Muslim
or murder over mere cartoon of Prophet Mohammed
done in Holland? Is it not the Northerner Muslims who
add their violent culture to Islam and become
murderers and bombers?
Yet it is the Igbos that are the bad guys because they
talk secession. It is the Niger Deltans that are
militants because they ask for for share of their oil that
is owned by the North in a devilish arrangement.
Oduduwa Republic only gets talked about when
Fulanis go murdering over mere cattle. The Middle-
Belt/North Central are left confused because the North
they are a part of consider them as mere appendages
and springboard to their selfish overlordship ambitions
and slaughter them whenever they please.
So Please, whenever BIAFRA is mentioned, know
BIAFRA IS NOT THE PROBLEM. Shettima and the
Sultan know the problem and they know it is the vast
majority of them core Northerners. (Yes, there are
some pretty brilliant ones who know what I am saying
is the bitter truth)
So until the rest of Nigeria calls the North to order
instead of continuously ceding leadership to them, until
the Northerners realize that violence is not the way to
keep a marriage or union, I am afraid that the cries
of BIAFRA, Oduduwa, Niger Delta Republic and other
agitations for a Balkanized Nigeria will not cease and
might lead to ultimate violence and mass death.
But The Hausa-Fulanis
are making this country "tire person" and it is to
them we must turn our full glare and query, instead of
bickering and saying "you betray me," etc FACE THE
VILLAIN and tell him to shape up or be cut off.
THEY SHOULD BE THE ONES LEAVING THE REST
OF US IF THEY CANNOT STAY WITH US. The rest
of Nigeria HAS NO PROBLEM 1 Like |

1) Biafran agitation has nothing to do with
HYDROCARBON/CRUDE OIL deposits in Niger Delta.
Imo, Abia, Anambra are currently oil producing states
in Nigeria with huge natural gas reserves, not
forgetting the enormous untapped coal deposits in
Enugu!
(2) Biafra is not land-locked. It has numerous access
to the sea, including through the River Niger.
(3) Biafra entire population is about 35 million people
which is greater than the population many advanced
countries in Western Europe, including Switzerland,
Luxembourg, Belgium, Holland, Austria....etc
(4) Biafra does not or in any form signify war,
violence, armed struggle or any sort of physical
confrontation. BIAFRA IS NOT WAR! It simply means
political, economic and socio-cultural freedom from a
feudalist State ruled by terrorists and Jihadists.
(5) Biafra is not a call for massive exodus to Igbo
land. Put differently, every Igbo or Biafran must not
live in Biafra land. Those who wish could still
maintain their residency wherever they are as well as
own properties anywhere in the world, including
Lagos, Abuja, Kaduna, Kano, Abeokuta…etc.
(6) Independent and sovereign Biafra will never
translate to loss or forfeiture of landed properties of
her citizens in Lagos, Abuja or anywhere in Nigeria.
There are many domestic and international treaties,
conventions and laws that protects Assets of non-
citizens everywhere in the World, that will apply
appropriately.
(7) The NEW BIAFRA shall be a coalition of desirous
and willing ethnic nationalities in defunct Eastern
Nigeria and would never be a forceful annexation of
any unwilling ethnic nationality within its current geo-
political definition. Ijaws, Ogonis, Ibibio, Anangs,
Efiks, Ogojas, and host of other ethnic minorities shall
possess the privilege to decide whether to tango
politically with their Igbo brethren or go their own
separate ways.
( Biafra is a train of peace and liberty. A desire for
liberation from institutionalised stumbling blocks like
quota system and federal character principles in
Nigeria’s quasi-unitary society. It is a movement
against internal colonialism, tribal gang-ups, economic
marginalisation and political subjugation of Igbo and
her minority neighbours.
(9) It has nothing to do with hate, bigotry or ethnic
chauvinism. Just a desire to live in a healthy society
where your tribe, tongue, religion or creed does not
define who you are or how far you would
go in your career! 4 Likes |

There was a Biafra before 1967which lost its
sovereignty to colonial powers. “ Early modern maps
of Africa from the 15th-19th centuries, drawn by
European cartographers from accounts written by
explorers and travellers, reveal that the original word
used by the European travellers was not Biafra but
Biafara, Biafar and sometimes also Biafares.” Now let
me correct one impression about the meaning of Biafra
as some believed it is a name given by Portuguese
explorers. Biafara people are already known and
addressed as Biafara people before they came in
contact with the first European merchants. The word
Biafra has its generics from “Ephraim” as pointed out
by Martin Simon Ukegbe (a religious activist who
suggested that the new Republic of Biafra of 1967 be
called the Christian Democratic Republic of
B”Ephrayim) the B there signifies the bay or bight so
the word Biafara or Biafar has its root from
B”Ephraim but the Europeans at that time called it
Biafar-Biafara or Biafares. Researchers hold the view
that the region is inhabited by descendants of Ephraim.
Mitchell map of 1839 stated that the important
estuaries from where the rivers flow into the ocean is
called Ephraim town which is located 60 miles from
River Nun which is in the south-south Nigeria today.
The river is named after Nun the father of Joshua of
the tribe of Ephraim. Biblical meaning of the name
“EPHRAIM” is “God has made me fruitful in the land
of my affliction”. The question now is who are the
most afflicted, deprived and mostly killed in the
contraption called Nigeria “Biafra people” who are the
most fruitful, blessed by nature and skills within the
contraption called Nigeria “Biafra people” before
1967-1970 genocide war against Biafran people they
have been killed in their thousands by the Northerners
and Westerners 1966, during the war, all the public
facilities where completely destroyed, that includes
Schools, Hospitals, Markets, Power plants, Churches,
Post offices, Biafra land (south-east Nigeria and some
part of South-south) where desolate with no life
sustaining amenities, after the war in1970, Awolowo
the finance minister gave £20 to every Biafra no
matter the amount you have in your bank account, and
declared all their properties outside Igbo land
abandoned property, including Port Harcourt where
Ikwere Igbos denied their Igbo identity with the
intention of annihilating and breaking the spirit of Igbo
to make them perpetual beggars and people of no hope
for the future. The rest are history today which you
can confirm for yourself. Today an average Igbo man
that has his Igbo identity are far much better than
every other Nigeria from all perspective, you can
disprove that if you think otherwise.
Biafran Ethnic Nationalities:
Ibos (Igbo speaking Biafrans), Ijaws (speaking
Kalabari, Edoid, Izon language etc) others includes:
Ibibio-Efiks and Ogojas, and this Great Nation has
been coexisting thousands of years ago as Biafra
people many centuries before losing her sovereignty to
colonial powers before being balkanized into various
countries like Guanine Bissau, Kamerun, etc, the
Archaeological evidence and African Ancient map
stands as a proof that Biafra people are a nation and
are Indigenous people
Origin and meaning of Igbo/Ibo as a language and
people: (this part is written in Ibo Biafra perspective
and all other Biafra Ethnic Nations shared same
experience and linkage with their Ibo Brothers, 7 Likes 3 Shares |

1978. First time huge amount went missing in the history of Nigeria. It went missing from Petroleum Ministry (no be today that office be racket). Buhari DENYING DENIED that he knew anything about it. The Senate President's father then alive, Saraki, headed the commision to investigate. And 1983 coup happened. The rest is not history as it is denied. 1983. A coup takes place while good people were enjoying Christmas, Ileya, New year etc. One Sanni Abacha read the speech. One Muhamadu Buhari became head of state. Later when coup was to go out of fashion, same Buhari that headed the coup said he was not a part of it. That he was summoned to head the coup after Babangida took it. Hmmmmmm. Why would Babangida call a man who is not part of the coup, was 2 years his junior (yes oh. Them say Babangida senior bros Buhari) in age, nor was MNI and such other military additions, TO HEAD HIS COUP? Okay, Babangida does not like sugar? He risked his life for Buhari to enjoy abi? Yet Buhari has successfully denied his participation in thecoup till date even though his speeches said he had to take the coup to save Nigeria. Okay na! 1995-1999. 87 Billion to PTF, 25 Billion unaccounted for. Buhari as head of PTF and with his inlaw from Daura, owner of APC-Cosortium that all contracts were passed through. So much money went missing and again Buhari becomes again a DENYING DENIER. Just that any office he holds huge moneys go missing and he becomes a DENYING DENIER 2004. DENIES FOR ABACHA "Abacha did not steal a kobo" he says. face expressionless. Eyes deep in its sockets. Not a single smile to show he is just joking. Serious like a heart attack, he DENIES on behalf of the Abachas. 2015." IT IS WITH MILITARY BOARD." While this may not be a denial per se, but the very brazenness of the lie.... GOD ABEG OOOOO!!!!!!! 2010-2015." I DONT KNOW WHAT IS CALLED SUBSIDY.". A former leader and NNPC boss and PTF boss that saw Abacha import fuel and sell to Nigerians at seriously subsidized rates said with unblinking eyes, I DONT KNOW WHAT IS CALLED SUBSIDY. In a month of being president, he not only knows what subsidy is, but is paying more and also says "THERE IS NO GENUINE REASON TO STOP SUBSIDY. This denial must find its place of dishonour in the annals of economics and history of Nigeria. Sadly, he will deny he denied that he denied.... Now take all the promises, from the APC manifesto which has the free meal etc, to the 100 days document and covenant, to his relative he made INEC boss as she does the denying for him this time to EVERY SINGLE THING PUT OUT BY APC. The denying denier has denied them all. I will be surprised if there are not some children in some corners that he has denied being a father of. Against my better judgement, I ask that you all read about the TAAQIYA and KITMAN which literally is "There are two forms of lying to non-believers that are permitted under certain circumstances, taqiyya and kitman. when you read it, you will understand whyBuhari, as a true Muslim can feel so free to deny and lie. I end the article with the greast DENYING DENIER SONG of all time. IT WAS'NT ME BY SHAGGY 2 Likes |

Politics / Southerners Are To Blame.. by Anseth(m): 9:54pm On Aug 28, 2015 |
The State Of The Nation....My Random Thoughts I am writing this post with a lot of caution and trepidation. I have never subscribed to ethnic chauvinism and I actually detest being labelled as a tribal bigot. I am usually very careful because I have friends and colleagues from every part of the nation and some of my best friends are not even from my side of the country. However, recent events are making me to have a deeper reflection and I wish we- Southerners in this instance- can have some kind of introspection. Out of 25 appointments made so far, 18 are from the North, 3 are from the South West, 4 are from the South South while the South East has ZERO appointments. A tweet which I saw today stated that "southerners are only competent when it's time for elections but northerners are competent in terms of governance" and this made the following thoughts run through my mind: 1. Only Southerners have been accusing fellow Southerners of corruption. Oshiomole has been attacking Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala as if Ngozi turned down his marriage proposal. The same Oshiomole tried to make nonsense of Akinwumi Adeshina's successes in the agriculture sector. Ambode tried to pull Fashola down and successfully smeared him with stains. Maybe that's why Fashola did not get the Chief of Staff role. I'm yet to see a Northerner accuse another Northerner of corruption, even when they belong to different parties. The closest a Northerner got was when the new Kano State Governor attacked Rabiu Kwankaso but he quickly sheathed his sword and even disowned previous reports of attacks. Why are we like this? 2. Are Southerners the only ones who are corrupt? Were there no northerner heading the ministries and parastatals? Did the outgone Comptroller-General of Customs, Abdullahi Dikko not have an alleged case of certificate forgery but he still served out his tenure until he resigned voluntarily? I'm not in support of corruption under any guise but the fight against corruption must not be seen to be sectional. 3. How come it's easier for the President to believe that Sanni Abacha was not corrupt in spite of recovered loot while it is so easy for him to believe Goodluck Jonathan is irredeemably corrupt? 4. I still remember that aside from God, Tinubu made Tambuwal what he is today. The same Tambuwal would later call Femi Gbajabiamila 'incompetent' and rated Dogara as more competent. The same Tambuwal was propped up by Tinubu, a Southerner against a fellow Southerner, Mulikat Akande. Obasanjo was very key to denying Goodluck Jonathan a second term. A good number can still recall how OBJ tore his PDP membership card in public glare. The Northerners find it easy to support themselves but we are always pulling ourselves down. Babangida Aliyu, Sule Lamido and all the other Northern Governors including the former PDP Chairman Adamu Muazu often times refused to campaign for Goodluck Jonathan openly and many times even espoused the virtues of the opposing candidate on the rostrum! 5. Southern leaders and Presidents pull down Southern business men but prop up Northern ones. How many people still remember how Obasanjo ran Mike Adenuga out of town but both Obasanjo and Goodluck Jonathan made Aliko Dangote what he is today. No northern leader goes against their own. I dare to put it on record that President Buhari will never go against Aliko Dangote for any reason. 6. How come OBJ pardoned Salisu Buhari, the ex- Speaker who forged his credentials and he later was given an appointment as a Governing Council member of a University and heavens did not fall- but when Goodluck Jonathan pardoned Alamieyeseigha it became one of the major issues counted against him? Is there one rule for some and another rule for others? 7. We find it easy to raise our voices in support of the deportation of Buruji Kashamu but have no qualms with Atiku Abubakar strutting around the corridors of power. 8. Only Southerners find it so easy to abuse their elders when they voice opinions not in tandem with the popular opinion. We find it easy to diss Afenifere elders and call them 'Afenifebi' while hurling expletives and curses at them. We even abuse our kings and priests. Northerners will never abuse an Emir no matter how unpopular what he said is. Can you imagine any Northerner raising his voice against the Sultan? In spite of Tanko Yakassai, Balarabe Musa and Dangiwa Umar's perceived support for Jonathan, northern youths did not abuse them. But our own youths run down our elders on social media while our educated elite also support the act. These are some of the thoughts that have been running through my mind. I don't pretend to have all the answers and I do this at the risk of being labelled an ethnic bigot. The point however is that Southerners have to get their acts right. We have to put our house in order. The bickering must stop. Let's engage our emotional intelligence. Let's not allow others to exploit our tendency to self-destruct. Just my one cent.... 1 Like |
