All that has been paid in your 100L when u entered into Noun or DE but the bursary might say you are to pay all that again...

If u have already paid 10k for I.T and 15k for project then u will be asked to pay 15k for gown, 6k for jamb and 5k for result verification making 26k in total

NOTE:

➡Print out ur e-wallet and fill the graduation exit survey on noun website and print it..

➡After submitting u print out your acknowledged form

➡Make sure u use a laptop to enable u save a copy before printing, it is once u are to print and close the page u can't get see it again..

➡For those who paid 2500 for I.T u are to balance 7,500

How do i print from old portal

If u can't see ur old e-wallet but u can see the new E-wallet, print that one and go along with ur course registration page that shows ur project and I.T and u need to pay 15k for convocation before the clearance and the balance payment of ur I.T 7500.

Note: Jamb has been paid as ur compulsory fee, they are not asking of that...

TMA BRIEFING & EXAM BRIEFING

➡Without the submission of TMA1, 2 and 3 you cannot pass your exam.

➡If non of your TMA is not available yet, HOLD ON and patiently wait if they will release TMA1 during TMA 2 period.

➡Do not partake in any exam that the TMA is not available because if you do you will fail.

➡If you did not register a course or all your courses for exam their TMA will not be available.

➡TMAs are not available for some courses because they are not examinable (YOU ARE TO WRITE A REPORT OR BUSINESS PLAN & DO PRESENTATION).

➡Your TMA score is also a key to a good grade. ( IF YOU HAVE GOOD SCORES IN ALL YOUR TMAs YOUR EXAM IS 40% CORVERED).

➡If all the options in your TMA question are equal or you were marked wrong after choosing and submitting the right answer or option, kindly note the Question number and take it to your center to make a complaint.

➡If all your TMA options are correct, kindly screenshot or snap the question then you send it to your study center ICT department mail or you visit your center ICT department for proper rectification.

➡Revise your TMA because 40% of your questions may come from it.

➡Read extensively and intensively.

➡Do not flaunt your TMA printout because your matric number is vividly written on it.

EXAM BRIEFING

⤵Your matric number is your username and password but let your password letters be in lower case(small letter)

⤵Endeavor to be in the school premises 30mins before the exam to ease tension, stress and rush.

⤵Do not leave your exam slip and ID card at home because that's your permit to the exam hall.

⤵Kindly check where you sit if there is any implicating object and if found report to the examiner immediately.

⤵Make sure you fill in the blank space correctly while filling your subjective. (FILL THE ANSWER EXACTLY THE WAY IT'S WRITTEN IN NOUN STUDY MATERIAL).

⤵ P.O.P is for 300level above while E-EXAM is for 200level downward.

⤵P.O.P- theory only
E-EXAM- objectives and subjectives(FILL IN THE GAPS)

⤵Some of your courses are P.O.P in 100level and 200level especially LAW students. (DO CHECK THE FINAL P.O.P TIMETABLE SO THAT YOU WON'T BE LEFT OUT)

⤵Do not bring your valuable things to the center except you have a car or safe place to keep them because during the exam period some people would come from their home to make other people cry.

⤵Be conscious of time because exam is not like TMA. (YOU HAVE LIMITED TIME IN THE EXAM HALL)

⤵Quickly report to the ICT agents or examiners in the hall if you are facing any difficulties or your system is malfunctioning.

⤵Don't be too nervous and relaxed in the exam hall.

⤵Make sure you submit and log out your system properly before leaving the exam hall.

⤵Learn how to make use of notepad to jot down some necessary things during the exam.

⤵Plain sheet of paper will be given to those offering calculation courses in the hall for solving or calculating.

⤵Indecent dressing attracts full focus on you. Dress decently to the hall.

⤵Quickly report any disturber or disrupter before both of you are caught.

⤵P.O.P students write your matric number well spelt on your answer booklet for proper recording to avoid missing script.

⤵Kindly improve in your handwriting and make it clear because the markers are human being like us you don't expect them to use microscope before they could see your handwriting.

IS THE CLEARANCE BASED ON DEPARTMENTAL SCHEDULE??

Maybe by next week they will start following the timetable but as at today, it's all department.

WHAT DO I NEED FOR CLEARANCE??

Project ,IT and seminar registration slip. And most importantly your E WALLET which must show the amount in your portal.

You will have to get clearance form from the bursary with all the above document intact. Once you have that, you will take it to the library and your department for stamp and signature.

Then you proceed to make the payment, the bursary will charge you through remita and then return to the bursary department for final clearance, which is the bursary stamp and signature .

Note : Even if you have your IT, Project, and seminar you will not be cleared by the bursary for as long as your e-wallet is not showing you are not owing us (Noun) .On that note, if you are on the second batch. Kindly print your E- wallet now.


However if your portal has been shut down, the bursary department said the school will activate the portal on or before Friday so you can print the needful. Keep watch!!

The long awaited graduating list was finally released yesterday, if you have a need of it you can chat me up. All Graduates whose names where shortlisted in the list are advised to proceed with the Graduation Clearance immediately. Reports says there will be a supplementary list, people whose name are not on the list should go to there study centre and complain if you have met up with the requirement.

Pen on paper first draft timetable is out get yours if you are doing pen on paper and also some students normally miss some courses because they are not aware that is pen on paper because it 100 level course (eg JIL 100 is not e-exam) so find out if you have any of such and check the timetable.

Exam is best prepared for by getting all necessary supporting materials and reading them you can chat me up for such.

How does the Tma goes

1. TMA is the acronym of Tutor Marked Assignment

2. It is the continuous assessment of NOUN.

3. It carries 30 marks while exam carries 70 marks.

4. A course, ENT409 for instance, has 3 tma. Namely, tma1, tma 2, and tma 3.

5. Each TMA has 10 questions.

6. It is done and submitted online from d students portal.

7. Whatever you score in a tma (tma 1 for instance) eventually be over 10marks.

8. Your total 3 tma score is what will be used for your assessment.

9. You cannot see your tma again once you submit it.

10. If what happened last semester is to go by, it then means that you can’t see tma 2 until you submit Tma 1. In the same way, until you submit tma 2, you cant see tma 3.

11. A good tma score will go a long way in boosting your result at the end of the day.

Please don't joke with your TMA it determines your grade at the exam of the day.

NOTE
Last semester was not funny at all as we had a lot of students having Incomplete results which the school later said it was either due to no TMA or no exam mean while we have some students who did both and are still affected by this so my advise is as follows

✔Make sure your TMA is properly done and never waste time

✔If you are giving it out to someone to do for you make sure you check the result and see that all your courses are submitted don't just ask if it done, check and verify yourself anything anyone do for you

✔Make sure you do your exam do your exam yourself and ensure you sign in and sign out

✔Make sure you get all necessary materials to help you during the exam (past questions, TMA solution if you doing e-exam, course materials and any other materials that you can lay your hands on)
