BTW monthly security votes paid to Governors, LGA Chairmen, etc is for their own personal security and has nothing to do with security personnel.

Despite the fact that, he is only the State’s CSO on paper. He does not command the police, civil defense, etc in his state.

If the Abuja don’t like his face, they can even pull his police escort. Hence the clamor for State Police or some kind of security apparatus under each State government.

Note that paramilitary outfits organized by some state governors to enforce their grazing laws do not have power to carry arms legally as only the federal government have the right to issue gun licenses except for shotguns used mainly for hunting.

The truth is, however you look at it, this country is overdue for some type of restructuring.
