Well, he is actually right. And if there’s any group in Rivers coastal that still share a form of kinship with the Igbos, its the Opobo man. [/s] |

[s] Bonesking: Mr Sower, can you tell nairalanders how you sowed and you weren't rewarded? Let's compare your impact to Buhari’s 2019 win and you’ll see that you have no case. You’ve been rewarded even more than the North Central who provided Buhari the much needed swing votes he needed, and yet they don't make noise. Mister man go and siddon one place, you people have no case.
The 2015 elections were a major success for the APC and its presidential candidate, Muhammadu Buhari, who triumphed for the first time after standing in four successive presidential elections. Buhari unlocked “the battleground states” of the South West and North Central. The voting pattern in these regions refuted the simplistic story of North/South, Christian/Muslim splits. Historically, the two regions have opposed the Muslim North, with the North Central, in particular, framing its political identity in terms of opposition to the Muslim North. In the 2015 elections, voters in the South West gave Buhari 57.1 per cent of their votes compared to the paltry 6.9 per cent he received from the region in 2011. The North Central voters also increased their support for Buhari from 31.3 per cent of their votes in 2011 to 55.7 per cent in 2015. Even in the South East and South South, where opposition to Buhari and the APC is strongest, the electoral fortune of the opposition candidate changed significantly. Support for Buhari in the two regions increased from 0.6 per cent of the votes in 2011 to 7.9 per cent in 2015. https://journals.sagepub.com/doi/full/10.1177/000203971505000204
Now despite the votes Buhari got from the North Central, you lots from the SW benefitted more than them in the power sharing. Except for the gazumping of Saraki in the Senate and later decamping to the PDP, the APC made sure that the SW got much than they gave the party.
1. Vice-President - SW 2. Speaker - SW 3. Chief of Air Staff - SW 4. Minister of Works, Power & Housing - SW
Infact you lots with the NW dominated the Ministerial and Directorial positions in the ministries and agencies of government.
The same way you sowed nothing and still got the Presential position under the PDP is the same right the SE will be given under the APC. You can't eat your cake and have it.
The 2023 Presidency is coming SE and there is nothing you can do about it than hang yourselves. [/s] |
Culture › Re: Ikwerre Is Bini Land by AntiIgbo: 9:49am On Dec 27, 2020 |
[s] Bonesking: Ikwerre’s are Bini! The founder of Ikwerre called Akalaka is a Benin Prince (Pronounced Aka ‘l’ aka in Bini language). Ikwerre real name is Iwhnurọhna before the Igbos changed it to Ikwerre during the old eastern region.
The Oba of Benin will soon select the next Enogie to rule over his Ikwerre subjects. The Oba during his last visit to Governor Osanyeso Owaiken (formerly called Nyesom Wike) has informed Ogbako Ikwerre of his noble plans to change their social-cultural organization to Omo’n’edoIkwerregbovo.
To match words with action, the next Igue festival in former (Rumumoku) now called Oredomoku will come up in December. They will need five fresh Ikwerre heads for sacrifice during the ceremony. The aim of the human heads is to cleanse all form of Igbo connections in the now reclaimed Bini land. Osalogbua must be praised! [/s] |

Politics › Re: Unveiling The New Ikwere Identify by AntiIgbo: 8:47am On Nov 16, 2020 |
AlexBells: As a descendant of Eze Nri and By Virture of my birth having undiluted Igbo blood in my vains, I hereby make this declaration in good fate in the best interest of the Igbo nation.
That from now henceforth, we divide the Ikwere into two, since they are not in unison in their Igbophopic attitude, one side being Ikwere (Ikwere Igbo) and the other side will be relieved of our identity that they had stolen.
Starting from the Name Ikwere, so the Igbophobic Ikwere henceforth must not be recognized as Ikwere anymore, as their new ethnic identity should afford them a distinct alphabet.
We Igbos hereby want to strengthen their identity and for that the non Igbo Ikwere should be called Bikerre (B for Benin Affiliation) Wikerre (W for their strikes man Wike or just to support their new lingua) or Iqerre (Let them use English alphabet if they can't have theirs ) or simply Ikerre for just no reason at all plus it sounds fun.
You started this name mutilation you forgot that your primary identity have all shades of Igboness, for that any body still recognising himself as Ikwere should be known by all and sundry as Igbo but I need a little favour from my Igbo brothers and sisters in PH and rivers state as a whole, please when ever you are dealing in Rivers state, for clarity sake still ask if they are Ikwerre Igbo or not, if they are Wikerre, Bikerre, Wikerre or Ikerre, please be careful in dealing with them, they are no longer our friend, I don't need to tell you that you should treat Ikwerre Igbos and other Igbos in Rivers state fine especially when they are buying from you.
If an Ikerre, Iqerre, Wikerre, Bikerre or Ikerre come to buy from you and you are not in good mood just tell him or her you are not selling, Dear Igbos it's time to weild our strength.
Wikerre have drown the first blood when Wike struck in Obigbo and went to rant about it, on our blood, it is time for Ikwerre to choose for themselves...
I urge Affected Igbos to start creating new Ethnic Identity anywhere and Anytime possible with those suggested names, Wikipedia and other documentaries must update the Ikwerre Identity to undiluted Igbo, the New Identity a unique ethnic group Ikerre, Wikerre, Bikerre, Iqerre, or anything else should be created for the Youngest Ethnic Group in Nigeria with immediate effect.
IGBO Warriors, they have drawn the first blood, we never had any pan Igbo Warriors but the time have called for it, both online and offline, ready and prepared for any tribe, individual or body that mess with us, never again, should our blood be toiled with, Never again should our people be murdered in cold blood, never again shall we be intimidated in silence, we will give any body, any group any tribe 10 folds what they give us, We Are IGBOS.
They should never again interpret the peaceful nature of we Igbos as weakness. Welcome to the IGBO RENAISSANCE. What gives you the right to name the Ikwere people? If they say they are Benins let them be Igbos have really reduced their dignity since this IPOB matter began |
