Crime / Re: How I Escaped Being Kidnapped By "Police" In Lagos Today by antiscamservice: 11:52am On May 21, 2015 |
Thanks to the Op for the thread. The Police harassment i experienced that readily comes to mind happened in Ile-Ife in 2011, during the yahoo-yahoo boom in the ancient town. This was a very interesting time in ife, as the main duty of cops in the town was the tracking of yahoo boys. Once you drive a fairly clean car, you automatically become a target. What they did was to trail you to your destination and harass you by threatening to take you to the station or position themselves at eateries, bars, banks and business centres to arrest unsuspecting 'yahoo boys'. So on this particular day, I drove to shopping complex in Mayfair (city centre) to collect a printing job. As I got to the entrance and made to drive in, two uniformed policemen armed with their normal Ak-47 assault rifles just appeared out of the blues and ordered me to open the door. I did and they jumped into the backseat. They shouted that we were going straight to the station. I said for what, they just shouted that I should zoom straight to the station. I said no problem but I must accomplish my mission there first- that is, to pick up my printing work. Before they knew what was happening, I parked the car and walked staright to my printer's shop, leaving them in the car. I started some unnecessary discussions with the printer infront of his shop. After about five minutes, they got out of the car and signalled to me that I was wasting their time. I told them i was coming. By this time, people had gathered and were watching keenly. I kept on talking without even looking at them; some minutes later their patrol van just zoomed into the premises and their boss got out and beckoned to me. He said I was embarrassing his men. I told him I came to do something and must accomplish my mission. A lot of people were watching us at this point. Because he talked to me with decorum, I gave them 500 naira and hey left in shame. Let me just drop this too. I was stopped on the highway at a checkpoint manned by the police. They demanded for my papers and i promptly gave them. The guy that checked my papers said I didnt have ECMR; so for that reason we were going to the station. Fortunately, I was not in a hurry that day. He said I should turn the car around and park, that we were heading back to their station in town. Without arguing with him, I did what he said. Two of my friends were in the car, so I told them to come out so that we can be gistin. So we were enjoying ourselves, gisting outside. We didnt even send them. We were making and receiving calls, unconcerned. Other travellers were looking at us, wondering what was happening. After some minutes, the cops just told us to leave. 1 Like 1 Share |
Religion / Re: Reasons Why You Must Not Go To Hell Fire by antiscamservice: 4:20pm On May 10, 2015 |
May GOD bless Walspring abundantly for this thread. I'm extremely sad seeing so many people claiming hell doesn't exist. Such people are playing into the hands of the devil. Let me reveal that satan doesn't want people to know hell exist. For those that believe in the existence of hell and are living holy lives, you are most fortunate. Let me state categorically that hell truly exists and very unfornately, many people are already there. Let me also reveal that Rapture of thr Saints will occur any time from now. The hour is just around thr corner. There is no time again to argue about the existence of either hell or Heaven. Be warned, time is fast running out. Please repent of all your sins by coming to JESUS CHRIST to be assured of making Heaven and avoiding hell. Let me state very emphatically that only born- again christains living holy lives will make Heaven. Those who are already in hell are lost forever. Don't make the mistake of saying you will get there to confirm if it exists. There is no way out! |
Career / Re: Is It Right For A Pastor Work In An Alcohol Manufacturing Company? by antiscamservice: 5:27pm On Apr 23, 2015 |
It's not ideal for a christain to work in any alcoholic producing company whatsoever. As christains, we understand that alcoholic consumption breeds sin, and is consequently a sin. Alcohol has destroyed so many lives and will continue to destroy lives. A born again christain shouldn't be found working where a substance that promotes sin is produced. The argument that such a christain may not indulge in the consumption of the alcoholic beverage is irrelevant. Christains should be very careful in these last days; only the holy will make Heaven. 1 Like |

Now I see why boko haram never runs out of fighters. Apparently, poor guys like these with desperately wicked souls will readily jump at the 'opportunity' to join the boko haram army. The prospect of looting, raping, reign of impunity and other negative attractions of the violent group will be irresistible to them. 1 Like |
Politics / Re: PDP Laments Obasanjo’s Exit, Says Ex-president Rejected Pleas by antiscamservice: 11:35am On Feb 17, 2015 |
While there's no doubt that Jonathan has really dissappointed Nigerians, I believe Chief Obasanjo's utterances have been too vitriolic and have heated up the polity incessantly. As an elder statesman and former president, you should exercise restraint and desist from statements capable of raising the country's political temperature at this critical point in our history. I feel the ota based ex-president should emulate an exemplary ex-military ruler like Abdulsalam Abubakar in conduct and composure. As a christain, instead of making explosive statements against the president, he should keep praying for him and the nation. My sincere advice for baba is that he should give more prominence to how he will make Heaven when he passes on, and minimize his obsession with the affairs of the transient world. |

May GOD give us the enabling power to be holy till the end. It is all too apparent the rapture will soon occur. The Holy Spirit keeps hammering it into my ears the rapture will soon occur. It can happen any minute! The tribulation period will be beyond catastrophic. The sadistic devil will torture the unraptured christains mercilessly. Let's all strive to make the rapture. |

Romance / Re: Pls Help! My House Girl Is Tempting Me.. by antiscamservice: 1:15pm On Dec 22, 2014 |
The Bible explicitely tells us to flee from temptation. You are playing with temptation and by extension, danger, by flirting with this girl. The best way to put an end to the adulterous relationship is by sending the girl packing. Just tell your wife what has transpired so far. Your wife will appreciate you for it, if she's wise. Save your marriage and ministry. Flee from temptation! |

JackBaueress1: Olx is not necessarily a scam site. I bought a LPG tank via OLX. And my friend just bought an Ultrasound machine via OLX today. My friend and I conducted background check on the sellers and we met one-on-one before we paid for the products. To be safe on OLX and other similar sites, verify the buyer's business and address first before proceeding with the deal. For deals that run into millions, you need to conduct thorough investigation. I had to spend two nights in Lagos when i wanted to buy a LPG tank in order to thoroughly investigate the seller. I pray the children are rescued unhurt and the maid brought to book, if found culpable. 1 Like |

Honestly speaking, people should endeavor to conduct background checks on thier employees. If you can't do it yourself, contract a credible service like the Antiscam Service in Nigeria. Unknown to many, there is a network of kidnappers that use fake names and addresses to get employed with the sole aim of abducting the kids of their employers within a few months of their employment . People should henceforth start confirming the names and addresses of their employees and that of their next of kin. |

Basic Anti-Scam Service (Ideal for Purchases below ₦100,000) Protect yourself from the jaws of scammers constantly hunting for victims on online trading platforms like OLX, Google Trader and Tradestable in Nigeria. It’s no longer a secret that hundreds (probably thousands) of people are getting scammed on a weekly basis by conmen posing as buyers and sellers on these trading sites. Don’t be added to the statistics! Our service basically detects scam in three ways: running the name of the buyer/seller you submit to us through our huge database of scammers, subjecting the ad on the site (OLX, Google Trader, Tradestable, etc.) to a thorough fraud analysis and intense scrutiny by establishing telephone contact with the buyer/seller. Scammers that escape our radar on the first two checks will find it impossible to evade our rigorous scrutiny from phone calls. There are other anti-scam measures we deploy that cannot be disclosed for obvious reasons. Send the details of your buyers/sellers to confirm their genuineness. The results of your buyer/seller’s fraud test will be delivered promptly. Service Cost: ₦500 To pay, send a ₦500 go voucher to 07012617913
