Mstick:Absolutely! ...and his lackeys aren't even ashamed of regurgitating that trite line of "he designed the template" Imagine spending 8 full years as a governor just designing some phantom blueprints, none of which could be brought to fruition during your tenure. So poor was Tinubu's performance that they can't point out a single achievement he recorded in office. Ask them and they'll tell you "he brought Fashola and Ambode"...that's his only "achievement". The bullion van-deploying thief achieved nothing in office other than signing off Lagos State's money to himself and cronies in some very dubious 14.6% (later reviewed to 10%) Tax Consulting deal, using his Alpha-Beta company. This is in addition to multiple other state assets he cornered for himself and the criminal and highly insensitive pension law he signed for ex-governors of Lagos State that ensures they continue to feed fat on tax payers' resources even after leaving office. May the misfortune of a Tinubu presidency never befall Nigeria. |
Tinubu probably intended to say that inability to get over/manage anger properly could shorten one's life. ...but honestly, besides his physical frailty, this man obviously suffers from dementia and aphasia. Dino may be right afterall. He does look very much like one on a daily dose of some sort of steroid...just look at his scattered fingers! ![]() May God forgive all the evil people wishing this thieving octogenarian relic on hapless Nigerians. |
N0nsense! |
That the opposition parties are clamouring for free, fair and credible elections while the ruling party is vehemently averse to same tells the whole story of the state of the nation and the level of masses’ disenchantment. What a shame! |
naijapips04:…and The NEPA bill-holder currently at the helm didn’t even attend a tertiary institution at all. Case closed. Obi is the best of the lot we’ve got for 2023. |
oluwadabira111:He's not. Peter Obi represents everything the current crop of corrupt leaders are not, hence their desperation to bring him down. Do not swallow hook, line and sinker APC-sponsored junks like this one here that has not a single shred of evidence. ...and the workers of iniquity even had to attribute the story an an Igbo name. ![]() It's election season. You'll be seeing barrages of utter falsehood designed to smear Peter Obi's image. |
9jaNoBeLagos:Without the support of some part of the South, Atiku stands no chance. Why couldn’t your Kano, Kaduna and Katsina votes get Buhari to Aso Rock during his 3 futile attempts before 2015? …and mind you, as long as he wins the South convincingly, a Southerner can get to Aso Rock WITHOUT winning any of the core nirthern states. OBJ and GEJ did that in 2003 and 2011 respectively. |
madridguy:He campaigned for his brother, David Lyon, not Tinubu. |
mariahAngel:It’s an adage predicated on ethnic favouritism, meaning: “ You do not leave your own child behind and go wear adornment on someone else’s child.” ![]() They are hoping to exploit that archaic mindset to bamboozle Yorubas into supporting the greed-driven ambition of one age-cheating incontenence and Parkinson disease-suffering octogenarian drug-dealing thief. I’ll take them seriously when they show me where I could get subsidized forex, and buy petrol, cooking gas and groceries cheaper just by virtue of my ethnicity. |
I hope you lot do realize that no one can beat the northerners on whom you hinge your entire hope of electoral victory when it comes to ethnic politics. “Namu, namu ne” they say in the local Hausa parlance. ![]() Tinubu’s divisive politics will boomerang. |
kay1one:One of them was having at me earlier today for questioning their flawed, divisive strategy. While Peter Obi goes round the country, discussing issues and reeling out verifiable statistics to back them up, a ruling party that has been at the helm for almost 8 years has no single achievement to project. All they do is go round inciting ethno-religious hate towards the Labour Party’s candidate. It’s such a shame. |
sanpipita:Yea. …and having completely grounded our country due to gross incompetence, their only strategy in pursuit of a futile bid to retain power after 8 disastrous years is to incite ethno-religious hate. Very pathetic muMURIC things. Awon modaru oniranu gbogbo! ![]() |
With all their attacks now targeted at Peter Obi, apparently Tinubu and his lackeys have now embraced the reality that the man of the people is already our President-in-waiting. ![]() |
Stop the misinformation, OP. This was shot during a Bonfire Night in Zimbabwe. It’s an annual event. |
Christistruth00:God bless you aplenty. Religion does not matter yet the ONLY REASON Tinubu picked a Muslim northerner is THAT SAME RELIGION, knowing how hyper-sensitive to it northern Muslims are. They aren't liberal enough to accept a Christian VP candidate but they want to force an all-Muslim ticket down the throat of Christians. ...and this is coming after a Muslim Buhari's 8 years at the helm! This is not only utterly disdainful to Christians but a complete "See-Finish", to put it In Nigerian parlance. If religion and ethnicity don't matter, then why do we have Quota System and Federal Character? How many northerners would be occupying prominent offices today if we had a merit/competence-based system? I blame docile Christians for this insult. |
A very incisive piece! That's the same point all well-meaning Nigerians have been advocating all the while. All the major parties should have featured Igbos as presidential candidates for 2023. APC and PDP having refused to toe the path of justice and fairness by zoning the presidency to the South East have inadvertently killed whatever North-South "unwritten agreement" Akeredolu is latching onto here. |
Even Tinubu will find this statement comical. ![]() There is no route at all through the ballot for the APC in 2023. It will be a 2-horse race between the Labour Party and the PDP. Like I've said severally, if the opposition parties can effectively checkmate every rigging plan by INEC and APC, there'll be little or no need at all for campaign to rid Nigeria of this satanically-destructive government next year. |
Odumayjayy:Where are you from? |
Seefinish:Not just pride but also deep ethno-religious bigotry. Imagine what a supposed presidential candidate was spewing on national TV. |
sukkot:…coming from someone that voted Buhari, a native of Niger Republic twice? |
isn’t that Yari in the picture? Whar’s he up to? |
Tinubu hinges his hope on APC's incumbency and the prospect of state machinery being deployed for him but he he will certainly meet his waterloo next year. He'll never be president. |
Throwback:Yea, Jonathan may have “lule’d” but aren’t you lot bearing the brunt of that now? By virtue of his status as an ex-president, Jonathan will enjoy ALL the accompanying benefits for life while you and kith who thought you were waging a war against him are currently buying petrol for N180/liter, exchanging 1$ for N720 and can no longer even move around freely due to an unprecedented level of insecurity. Kpa Kpa n para e ni, oloun npa aja. ![]()
|
Was El-Rufai dropped or he blatantly rejected and even released a press statement wherein he dissociated himself from the prospect of serving in that role? Tinubu and his lackeys can keep f00ling themselves. ![]() |
Exmilitant:Do the same thing Jonathan did to you hafeful lot when you hurled barrages of insults at him and his family. |
Lekan239:The Obi movement isn’t about Igbos. It’s a pan-Nigerian cause. |
***Yawns*** How close was the screen he read his speech from? Can he mount a podium and talk directly to Nigerians? ![]() Baba go rest abeg. Your "life-long" ambition has driven Nigeria to the precipice already. We have never been this divided. We need a young, healthy, cerebral and clean president in 2023, and one who can unify the nation. Unfortunately, you're everything a Nigerian president mustn't be. Go and attend to your frail health, grandpa. Moja mosa lafi 'n mo akinkoju loju ogun. |
fredoooooo:Good luck to you with your “positive”. |
Thinkfree:Tinubu has no capacity to amass 70%, let alone 80 in any South West state. Not everyone is blinded by ethnicity. |
fredoooooo:Aren’t you tired, Ogbeni? Are you enjoying the calamitous Buhari/APC you vigorously campaigned for in 2015? |
ademola721gmai:Arakunrin Ademola, eschew tribalism. Do not drink poison just because it’s served in a tribal cup. Gasoline, groceries and other items aren’t subsidized on the basis of ethnicity. Think of the future of your children. Vote for a young, cerebral and healthy candidate with probity. Vote Peter Obi. |
