If only they knew that removing religious sentiments from politics will help them as well. They have similar attributes with the southwest i.e almost equal population of both faiths . The southwest is able to produce both Christian and Muslim leaders without discrimination.
Their religious intolerance is the reason the NC will barely have a say at the federal level.
Now let's say an influential personality of Christian faith from the NC wants to be the president, he has to pick a southern VP right? Asides the southwest he can't get any other influential VP material of Muslim faith from the south . Isn't that a boomerang ? Or must northern candidates be Muslims and southern candidates Christians ?
The NC political elites understand the demographics of this country but because of their selfish interests they are deceiving their people.
