Check the middle page where it is stamped u will see the validity hand written somewhere there. The vaccination is valid for life as u said. But I was told the card is valid for 10years.

Contact Ur ticket agent if u used one, or Ethiopian Airlines office to open the ticket.

Hello pls advise me. I applied for evisa on 15th August to attend a 3days conference to start this weekend and I had to book my return flight because it was one of the criteria on the form. Up until today Friday have not received the visa the status says "Ready Batch" can I still proceed on the trip to SA like that and maybe get visa on arrival at the airport or make an appeal there. The organisers of the conference has sent mail to the Consular and all no response

Airline won't even carry you without a visa. So no chance of even getting there.

Home Affairs Minister Dr Aaron Motsoaledi’s announcement on work permits and permanent resident status for foreign nationals who are religious workers has been met with criticism from some religious quarters.
Freedom of Religion South Africa says a blanket ban on foreign nationals would arguably be unconstitutional.
Motsoaledi announced before parliament’s portfolio committee that foreign national religious workers will no longer be eligible for work permits or permanent residency in the country.

An announcement that has been received with mixed emotions. But to many, accountability is key.

“It’s a matter of discussions as to how best we can protect the system and also make sure that religion is not used as a tool for criminal activities or for robbing people of their hard earned cash.”

“This is caused by charlatans and some false prophets who come to SA masquerading as men of God, took advantage of people in the name of religion and the Church. Yes definitely they need to get some part of the blame but it’s really unfortunate that the Home Affairs took that decision”, says Solomon Izang Ashoms of Movement Against Abuse in Churches

Some organisations have cautioned the department against painting all foreign national as religious workers with the same brush, but others say the decision won’t also harm missionary work in the country.

The exponential growth of a number of churches in the country over the years has came with challenges to an extent that the Commission for the Promotion and Protection of the Rights of Cultural, Religious and Linguistic Communities had to intervene.

They handle Visitors/Holiday Visa also.
Mine was a Holiday Visa. See the cropped image below. I hope this settles it.

I did mine personally, but yes u can walk in and request for eVisa service.

South Africa evisa is no go area for now if you want to apply do it through VFS, print out South Africa visa application form then fill it and book appointment date through VFS gather all your supporting documents and go on your appointment date to submit.

When u go to submit physically ask them for eVisa Services, they will attend to you, go with a dollar card for eVisa payment. Naira card is not accepted. There is a service fee if done in their office.

Most times people have legit info, but refuse to share here, because all those that have nothing to share come with all this negative energy. What's so hard in putting a call through to VFS to verify rather than coming here to cast aspersions. This Nigeria don affect people aswear. It's not your fault.

Guys, don't fall for this yet. Ensure you verify before you submit any application. It looked like a cloned site and how is VFS processing evisa for Nigerians only but there is no news about it anywhere else on the internet? Be wise please to avoid stories that touch. Did you notice that the HTTP in the address does not have a "S" as well unlike the DHA website?

Be certain and verify the website before you make any submission and payment. A word is enough for the wise.

Oga, VFS is not a ghost organisation, call them and verify.

I gave up on the DHA Site and used the VFES which was very straight forward, the only pain was having to pay more.

Bro, back off the site socked My visa fee, my wife and three kids visa fees too and later canceled our application.

Na very useless site. I wonder who designed it. Very poor interface. I was lucky not to even get to the payment page. I got stuck trying to upload documents with no luck.

Pls I need guidance on filling the South African e-Visa form. I am have completed the first stage but unable to proceed to the second stage where I need to upload my documents. If I click save and continue, it will just load for a while and take me back to the same page. Click submit, and proceed to upload. But I advise u do a paper application, I couldn't go past the upload documents, the site sucks. You may be lucky if you give it a try. But I'm submitting via VFS asap.

Pls did anyone here who applied for eVisa have challenge with document uploaded?
I'm using PDF format and it keeps saying upload failed. It does show as uploaded when I refresh the page. But once I log off and log back in, everything vanishes.
Any clues or guidance will be highly appreciated so I can proceed to make payment without any fears.
