sunny442:Sorry I'm just getting to see this. Well, ARM operates different types of funds account, depending on what you prefer as an individual. There's an account type for savings alone, where you deposit money and it's kept there for as long as as you want it. There's a percentage of interest that will be added periodically, and the higher your money, the higher the interest rate. You could decide to re-invest the interest to boost your savings. For this type of account, your money is assured, but the interest rate might be just a token (except if your money becomes quite big). Then, there's this other type of account that has to do with investing your money. The interest rate is higher here, but so are the risks involved too. Your entire investments could be lost, or it could geometrically multiply...depending on how the stock market is. Yes, this type of investment is more like purchasing stocks... Well, I'm not really a finance personnel just shared the little I understood from my investigations as regards issues similar to that of the OP. You can browse more on ARM - (Assets and Resource Management) Money Market Fund. I hope I helped a little. ![]() |
Horlawoomey:Yes dear, it's me o. Long time! ![]() |
Register with ARM, (browse for info on it), they could help you save. They'll deduct a certain amount of money monthly from your account and keep it in your ARM's account, which you will not be able to access for a stipulated period of time. At month's end, you'll only make do with the balance left to see you through the month. Needs must always arise, yours and family, and when there's no money on ground from your end, you'll see how most of those needs will sort themselves out. Best of luck. |

Whether the interview was optional or not, attitude and approach to issues speaks volumes about content of character. Refiner won my admiration for the way she responded to her showing up late. You just won votes from me and all my goons girl... |

dollyjoy:You just spoke my mind bae. What's the fun in just three contestants? How is it supposed to be fun if we can't have top 12, top 8, top 6, top 3 and finally the winner? Some people with their level of reasoning sef ![]() Perhaps the small number of contestants coupled with the ones opting out is the reason why the contest has not kicked off proper yet. In a forum as large as Nairaland we should have just three contestants for Miss Nairaland ![]() Dem go dey condemn others, yet dem no get boldness to contest. SMH ![]() |
VoteRefiner2016:Hi ma'am. Errm, excuse me, can't you type with the normal font size? We can see you bright and clear alright. Someone already complained that your font size was disturbing her eye sight ![]() |

tomdon:Thanks so much, I really appreciate this. Yes, I've made up my mind now No kicking around the bush anymore. We're preparing for our introduction soon, and the marriage would come up before the end of the year. I allowed God to help my decision, and didn't base it on physical or material things. I think I'm happy and at peace with my choice, and I've made that clear to everyone involved. Thanks again ![]() |
