It's a shame that the Federal government allowed unarm citizens to be killed and place of worship including graves desecrated. It is a clear sign of Boko Haram mentality and rascality. In civilized and educated clime heads would have rolled by now.

I quite agree with you on the potential aspect of this great country , but I disagree on education. The Nigerian government should invest heavily in education at all levels because education is the future of any nation. instead of subsidy on petroleum product that money should be invested in education and agriculture.

Politics / Re: Wike Climbed Into The Governorship Seat Over Dead Bodies - Prof Itse Sagay by anwe: 6:35am On Feb 14, 2016
Very disappointed by the prof. Was he in Akwa Ibom or Rivers to know that there was no election. Even when Wike was not allowed to step out of his house by 50 military personnel. And in Akwa Ibom the onus was for APC to prove that there was no election but instead rely on Bihari's body language.
Prob I beg you tell me how it is possible for us to have casted 1.9 million vote in Kano and no voided votes considering the level of illiteracy in this country. My take is the willing southerners and Christian will always be used to destroy themselves.
Please prof next time go an become a Supreme Court judge. Again war against Boko Haram is not war against the north again.

Walk on Soldier. Everyone has the right to freely live and express oneself. When Elrufi spoke and wrote against President Jonathan and Christianity, heaven did not fall, why now ?
What goes around comes around, period. Critism is not a one sided thing. If you critizes another man be sure you can take the heat.
The most baffling thing is all that Dr Danfulani said was the truth and nothing but the truth. That is why truth is always very bitter.

Today we can build on his successes and move this country forward. Nigeria will remain a great country because of the labour of our heroes past.

There was no need to attacked the lady though what happened is painful. If you asked her what happened, she will not be able to explain it because I belief that the car accelerated on it's on. with this, the car can not be stopped unless you switch of the engine. In short the car malfunction, that's why cars are recalled outside this country and car companies are taken to court for damages and compensation. Why I know is because it had happened to me. God save me by whiskers

May the soul of the dead rest in peace.

Politics / Re: Supreme Court Ruling: Wike Vs Peterside: Why The Opposition Should Be Worried by anwe: 3:56pm On Jan 31, 2016
NgeneUkwenu:
The supreme Court as the final arbiter, has brought to an end, a legal tussle between Nyesom Wike and Peterside Dakuku on the validity or otherwise of the election conducted in April in Rivers State by the Independent National Electoral Commission.

While I am saddened by the judgment that emanated from the Supreme Court, in which, in their "well considered" opinion, set aside the decision of the Election Tribunal and that of Appeal court on the subject matter, but affirmed The election that brought Nyesom Wike into power, as a legitimate and proper one. Though this seems in variance with public outcry both within and outside the country that followed the election, that had been described by many, as the most murderous, Violence- filled, and rigged election ever conducted anywhere in the Country. I am more worried for the fate of the opposition in the elections that are going to be held from now on.

Should The Opposition Be Worried?
I don't think many people especially of the PDP, have not realized the implication of the said judgment in the "life" of free and fair election in the Country, from now on.
It would be recalled that INEC, worried by the cases of incessant ballot snatching, tampering of voters register, snatching of result sheets and other electoral vices, genuinely came up with a masterstroke...a technology called Card Reader Machines, which sole aim was, to instill fear in the would be election riggers and also to render their "efforts" meaningless to an extent.

Consequently, to the Crédit of The Card Readers, a certain President Buhari Of the then opposition party (APC) Won an election, Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo(PDP) Won election in APC filled State, Rochas Okorocha Won an election in a PDP Filled State Of Imo etc.

The implication of the Judgment:
Recall, the major ground of Nyesom Wike's Appeal, was on the non admissibility of the Card reader as a part of the election guidelines as enshrined in the Electoral Act and the 1999 constitution as amended, which the Supreme court in their opinion agreed with Wike and discarded the Use Card Readers as a part of election process.

Now what has the Apex Court done? It has returned INEC to the era of Manual accreditation and validation of voters card. It has returned everybody to the era of the "highest rigger takes all". It has energized ballot snatches. In fact it has removed every normalcy in the conduct of subsequent elections.. Yes that is what the Supreme Court has done..

So when next you hear of a political Party boasting of winning all the contested seats, it is not a fluke, it is achievable. And if you are contemplating of going to court, anyway I wish you "Supreme Court" luck..

~Miss Ngene.

You are entitled to your opinion, but you can not be wiser than all the judges at the supreme court. So your opinion is rubbish. Why was the election of ambode of lagos state and others not annulled because of card reader ?? was card reader fool proof ?? why couldn't the card reader read the thumb print of number citizen of this country
To rigging of election or thuggry or killing as you call it, it was all staged managed by APC and her agent. Just like what happened in Akwa Ibom. let there be election 100 times in these 2 states PDP will carry the day so why stage manage rigging ? President Jonathan said his ambition is not worth the blood of any Nigerian and he led by example. Let me ask was there no rigging in kano ? it is possible to have 1.9 million votes and no one single voided vote in kano ?
When we criticized let us be fair. it is said let's be fair in war and .......

Imagine a supposedly educated Nigerian wishing his nation misfortune because he lost out. Smh!

Will you compare this to when coopers were killed and Boko Haram when your bubu lost election ? and all other ways that APC destroyed this country under President GEJ, before you criticize look at the argument critically, technically and logically before you jump in.
