What is happening is not because PMB visited US, but cause of the price of oil the American companies with their shell oil are not profitable therefore they have to source for cheaper oil. That is why they are back to Nigeria

Jakaya:
Governor Tanko Al Makura's Media Team Have Just Issued A Press Statement on The #GoToHell Saga:

PRESS STATEMENT

The Attention of Governor Umaru Tanko Al - Makura of Nasarawa State has been drawn to an online publication Title “Go To Hell!” Governor Al Makura Tells Family On Highway As His Goons Beat them To Pulp" alleging that his convoy assaulted a family on their way to Abuja.

There is no iota of truth in that publication but the misrepresentation of facts calculated to tarnish the image of his Excellency by mischief makers.
For the avoidance of doubt and to set the records straight, on Thursday 10, September 2015 about 3.pm when the convoy of His Excellency was approaching Nasarawa Eggon Local Government a vehicle was right on the middle of the road and inspite of several efforts by the police outrider and the pilot to slow the car down, the vehicle remained right in the centre of the road refusing to make way for the convoy which nearly caused an accident.

The action of the vehicle gave room for suspicion considering the fact that it was at the same area in 2003 that the convoy of former governor of Benue state George Akume now a Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria was attacked.

A close look at the vehicle, the Escort commander noticed a women driving with a minor in the front seat and directed the convoy to track her with caution not to push her car by the shoulder.

This took up to 3-5 minutes before the Escort commander managed to halt her. She stopped abruptly on the road forcing the convoy to also stop and other road user causing heavy traffic along the high way.

As She came out, she began to rain abuses on the Police boasting that she is a lawyer and a daughter of a police Commissioner and has the right to drive the way she wants.

Noticing her unruly behavior, the Governor directed the Escort commander to invite the Police from the nearest police station to handle the matter to avoid further congestion and obstruction of traffic on the Highway while the convoy continued on its journey to Abuja.

It is the height of mischief and irresponsibility for anybody to insinuate that Governor Almakura made disparaging comments on the woman in question.
Any body that knows Al - Makura will attest to the fact that, it is not in his character to use derogatory words on people let alone a woman, the fact remains that the governor did not engaged in any exchange of words with the woman.

We called on the press and the general public to disregard the misleading and wicked insinuation aimed at portraying the governor in bad light.

Ahmed Tukur Special Assistant
( Media & Publicity ) to
Governor Umaru Tanko Al - Makura

I do not believe a word from this press release. We all live in Nigeria, we have seen how servants turn into kings and emperors by vote. A convoy of armed police men and SSS with all their training including the Gov. Should know how to deal with an unarm family. That lady could have voted for him.
That family should be adequately compensated and apologies issued. If they did the right thing why should they cease their phones. After all outside this country police have body camera for issues like this. What were they afraid of ? Even with the head of government in thier presence who should be a father for all.
These "GO TO HELL GOV." We tire for EM.

For attacking BH this is the reason for the harassment. Very soon the story behind Boko will soon be out for all to know. Already a top ISIS commander was given a Nigerian visa to and move Boko forward. Who approved this visa & why is the question Nigerians should asked, not few firearms with former NSA.

So, there must be some other logical explanation for this. Is she mentally unstable?

There are witches though whether white, black or red. But I guess what is happening here the woman is mentally unstable, could be suffering from dementia. however due to lack of understanding the people will assumed a whole lot and she could have been kill for nothing.

Buhari has no moral justification to alleniate himself from the party that gave him the ticket!

They made the promise, Millions voted on The basis of those promises , they got what they wanted Now Nigerians must get what they were promised!!!!

May God Continue to Bless Nigeria and Nigerians

APC says party position is supreme for instance the leadership tussle in the upper chamber, how come now they are speaking from both side of the mouth, what party says is not important. abi are we afraid of 2.8 billion dollars ? He who must come to equity must come with clean hands.

or is this another certificate ?

Celebrities / Re: Bruno Iwuoha Hospitalized In The US (Photo) by anwe: 5:49pm On Aug 14, 2015
bushdoc9919:

Because quite simply, it costs money.....lots of money to build and maintain a good hospital in Nigeria.

Look at American hospitals. US citizens pay lots of money every year in taxes to get good amenities. Plus....hospital fees in the US are ultra high....and if you have insurance, you pay lots of money in insurance premiums to get good care. Plus, rich people in the US donate heavily to their hospitals.

And how about US med schools? Yes....medical students pay high fees, med schools and their parent universities have hefty budgets , and med schools too get heavy donations.

And standard regulatory agencies work well....because any small mess up, and the local governor can get sacked.

Yes.....Nigeria needs a standard hospital. But...if you want a system of standard hospitals in Nigeria....you have to pay the price in high taxes, and high hospital fees and insurance premiums....not this one where you pay heavily subsidised fees, and expect first class. And you have to make sure that PMB ins really interested in diversifying our economy away from oil....so that not only do we have the cash to pay for standard hospitals....but we even have the manufacturing capability to manufacture high grade equipment like MRI, CT , ECG, EEG and so on.(Because....lemme tell you....we have to import most of the things used in a standard hospital).

We do not have the money. Sad.

How come medicare is more expensive in America than in Europe. Does that mean the standard in America is higher / quality of delivery is better than European hospitals ?

Looking into how the wealth of this country was manage is fantastic and the right thing to do. All sector of economy including all the fines paid to road safety for instance must and should be looked into. However the time span of all the audit should not be limited to 2010 and now, but should be extended to when Abacha died, or from 1999 when power was handed back to civilian. On the alternative we should have a holistic audit of this country from when military took over the reigns of power from Alhaji Shehu Shagari. what happened to Nigerian Airways ? Nigerian National Supply line ? NEPA ? Oil Block allocation ? in short the collective wealth of this nation. it is only when this is done that we must have known the root course of these primitive looting of our collective wealth and handle it accordingly. The bulk of our wealth is outside this country and we are so unpatriotic to transfer our wealth to other clime. How many Americans or Europeans take their stolen money to Africa except for money doubling (investment). After this comprehensive audit, then amnesty should be given for people and families to repatriate these wealth back to the country.

Amaechi sold Rivers’ asset to fund APC, Buhari – Tonye Princewill

The governorship candidate of the Labour Party, LP, in Rivers State, Tonye Princewill, has accused Governor Rotimi Amaechi of selling the state’s assets to an indigenous oil company, Sahara Energy, and using the fund that accrued from the sale to finance the activities of the All Progressives Congress, APC.

Assets such as Olympia Hotel, Abonemma Wharf, Risonpalm and the power generating stations in the state were sold to Sahara Energy.

Mr. Princewill alleged that the over $800 million realized from the sale of the assets was never lodged into the coffers of the state government.

“Money changed hands but the accounts they entered were not necessarily Rivers state government’s officially operated accounts,” he said.

He also alleged that there is no evidence of competitive tendering, independent valuation or a transparency in the entire process, arguing that the “Rivers people cannot be sure they got a good deal”.

“In one instance approximately $400 million changed hands over an asset that could easily be worth twice that. Why the secrecy?” he said.
