R. Kelly is being accused of holding women in a “cult” where he dictates everything from dressing and nutrition to their sexual behavior and controls any communication they have with the outside world, Buzzfeed reports earlier today.

Buzzfeed alleges that the R&B singer, who has homes near Chicago and Atlanta, houses up to six women.

Three people who say they used to be a part of Kelly’s entourage, Cheryl Mack, Kitti Jones, and Asante McGee, gave information on Kelly’s alleged lifestyle.

Mack told Buzzfeed that Kelly runs every aspect of these women’s lives.

“No. You have to ask for food. You have to ask to go use the bathroom… a master at mind control. … He is a puppet master,” he said.

According to Mack, Jones and McGee, there was a 31-year-old “den mother” who recently vacated Kelly’s residence. The women claim there is currently a 25-year-old woman, a 19-year-old model, a 26-year-old aspiring singer and an 18-year-old singer living with the R&B artist.

The mom of one of the women, who was not identified, spoke to Buzzfeed and claimed that her daughter was 19 when she met the now 50-year-old star in 2015.

She hoped Kelly would help her daughter’s singing career. Instead, she alleged that her daughter moved into the recording artist’s home.

Soon after, the mother claims her daughter’s contact with her parents dwindled to include only two vague texts — on Christmas and Mother’s Day.

The mother told Buzzfeed she has not seen her daughter since Dec. 1, 2016.

The texts allegedly read, “I hate Christmas has to be this way this year,” and “Happy Mother’s Day from me and Rob.”

The mom, whom Buzzfeed identified only by the initial J., described the last time she saw her child.

“It was as if she was brainwashed. [She] looked like a prisoner. It was horrible. I hugged her and hugged her. But she just kept saying she’s in love and [Kelly] is the one who cares for her. I don’t know what to do. I hope that if I get her back, I can get her treatment for victims of cults,”

J. told Buzzfeed. “They can reprogram her. But I wish I could have stopped it from happening.”

Desperate parents speaking to Buzzfeed said they contacted the FBI and two police departments. However, they claim a wellness check last December prompted by the parents revealed nothing was amiss at the Kelly residence.

In 2008, Kelly was acquitted of the charges of engaging in a sexual act with a minor which was caught on video.

Considering how useful Google maps have been in recent times in timing your movement and knowing which routes are congested it was only a matter of time before certain other interesting updates were added.

One of such updates is the determination of the best time to get on the road in a bid to avoid traffic.

The new feature is only available for Maps users on Android, and it pops up when you input directions. Along with showing you the usual estimated time and distance, a new bar graph will appear, showing the relative time it will take your trip now (highlighted in either green, yellow, or red to indicate current traffic conditions) and an estimate of both how long it would have taken a half hour earlier and how long it will take in the next few hours.

It seems like Doctor Who’s new candidate will be hitting the record books for a new reason entirely……The person acting it is a woman.

After intense speculation that followed the exit of Peter Capaldi in January, the person taking on the role of the time/space warping doctor will be Jodie Whittaker.

She is the first woman to take on the role, playing the 13th Doctor in the BBC1 drama. Whittaker, who rose to fame in ITV’s crime drama Broadchurch, had been touted as one of the contenders, the Guardian UK reports.

Nigerian rapper, Saucekid, whose full name is Babalola Falemi was sentenced last week to two years in federal prison after stealing $15,388 during a visit last summer to the Treasure Valley.

Falemi obtained stolen bank card numbers and identification information for their owners. He then encoded the account numbers onto blank plastic cards.

After using an automated system to change account PINs, he was able to withdraw cash from bank ATMS and buy merchandise from stores between July 23 and 26.

All of the losses took place at Boise ATMs owned by Idaho Central Credit Union and at Albertsons stores in Meridian, court documents alleged.

Police arrested Falemi at the Boise Airport as he was about to board a flight. He was caught with a card encoding device and most than $6,000 in cash.

Falemi was initially charged with conspiracy to commit bank fraud, 8 counts each of bank fraud and aggravated identity theft, and possession of 15 or more fraudulent bank cards.

He pleaded guilty to one of the counts of aggravated identity theft. In exchange for his guilty plea, prosecutors dismissed the other counts. Senior U.S. District Judge, Edward J. Lodge, also placed him on one year of supervised release after his prison term.

A woman who seems to be of West African descent has been arrested in connection with a car crash in which six people, including three children were injured when a car drove into a crowd of Muslims celebrating Eid el-Fitri on Sunday, the 25th of June, 2017.

The 42 year old woman who had been celebrating the end of Ramadan is alleged to have got into her car and lost control of her vehicle, hitting several bystanders.

Six people are now confirmed to have been injured, including three children.

Two of the children are in a paediatric intensive care unit, with one of the adults in a high dependency unit.

The woman has been arrested and remains in custody, Northumbria Police said.

An estimated 300 to 400 Muslim worshippers were at the college celebrating the end of Ramadan.

Several witnesses say the woman accidentally backed into a child, panicked, and lost control of their car, hitting more people in the process, Express.co.uk reports.

Armed police and the police helicopter were called to the scene, with the recent terror attack on a group of Muslim in Finsbury Park still fresh in people’s minds.

A statement tweeted by Northumbria Police said: “On Sunday June 25, at approx 9.14am, Northumbria Police received reports thata vehicle had collided with pedestrians outside of Westgate Sports Centre, Newcastle-upon-Tyne.

“Police enquiries are ongoing to establish what exactly happened but, at this time, it is not believed to be a terror incident.

American rapper and member of the Mobb Deep crew Albert Johnson, better known by his stage name Prodigy, is dead.

The rapper, who made up one-half of the hip-hop duo group Mobb Deep with Havoc, has died at the age of 42.
According to TMZ, his publicist said he was hospitalized “a few days ago in Vegas after a Mobb Deep performance for complications caused by a sickle cell anemia crisis.

It was reported that the artist had already suffered from health issues throughout his life, with the underlying cause being sickle cell anaemia.

Prodigy first broke out onto the music scene with his partner, Havoc, forming Mobb Deep in their hometown New York City in the 1990s.

The duo participated in high profile feuds during their early years, and once had “beef” during the media-fueled East Coast-West Coast hip hop rivalry with Tupac and Biggie Smalls.

Many marriage may be in danger of dissolution as the High Court in Lagos determined that many Lagos marriage certificates may be illegal.

Hon. Justice Ibironke Harrison of the Lagos High Court declared marriage certificates from Ikeja local government and many other local governments as unconstitutional.

The Lagos High Court, on the 15th of May, 2017, delivered a judgement concerning the issuance of marriage certificates as illegal from all local governments in Nigeria.

The court further issued a restraining order on the continued issuance of the certificates.

The judge made the ruling in a class action suit filed by Consumer rights lawyer, Olumide Babalola, esq. against Ikeja local government and the association of local government in Nigeria (ALGON) who were defendants in the suit filed LD/1343GCM/16.

The Court consequently ruled that the local government have no powers to issue customized or modified marriage certificates different from that of Form E, under section 24 of the marriage act, LFN 1990.

The court also other the second defendant, Association of Local Government of Nigeria’s (ALGON) unified marriage certificate is unconstitutional, thereby being null and void.

The court further restrains ALGON agents, officers, representatives from further issuing modified or alternative marriage certificates.

An Australian study has found the first evidence that medicinal cannabis can reduce seizures in children with severe epilepsy.

The study, published by the University of Melbourne on Thursday, found that cannabidiol, a medical component of cannabis, can reduce seizures in more than 40 percent of children with a severe form of epilepsy, TheCable.ng reports.

The trial took place over 14 weeks with 120 children with Dravets Syndrome, a severe potentially lethal form of epilepsy, participating, 60 of whom were given a placebo and the other 60 given cannabidiol.

Ingrid Scheffer, the lead author of the study, said it was a major milestone in using cannabis products to treat epilepsy.

“This is the first high-level evidence that shows that cannabidiol works for epilepsy,” Scheffer said on Thursday.

“It’s as good as some of our other drugs, it doesn’t look like it’s better than our other drugs because it’s not going to cure.

“It’s not a panacea, but it’s going to be very valuable for these children with severe life-threatening epilepsy.”

Of the 60 children who were given cannabidiol, 43 per cent had their frequency of seizures at least halved from an average of 12.4 convulsions per month to an average of 5.9 per month.

Overall, a vast majority of the group exhibited a reduced number of seizures while three children did not have any seizures after taking the drug.

Comparatively, the average number of seizures in the placebo group went from 14.9 per month to 14.1.

“These responder rates of 43 percent, and five percent seizure-free, are what you see across many epileptic drug trials and we always try them in patients with uncontrolled epilepsy because they’re the ones who need to try something new the most,” Scheffer said.

“If it makes you seizure-free, as it did for three children in the clinical, it is life-changing.”

Cannabidiol was recently reclassified by the Victorian government to a schedule four substance, legally making it a prescription drug.

Scheffer said that a number of studies were underway across Australia testing cannabidiol as a treatment for other forms of epilepsy.

A father-son duo in Russia has remade an old car into a transformer robot prototype.

The duo, Gennadiy and Sergey Kocherga, inspired by the movies, cartoon and toys of the popular Transformers, reported spent six months converting an old VAZ-2110 Lada into the robot then took it to a stunt show in Oryol (a small city slightly south of Moscow) to show it off.

However, the prototype took a dangerous twist as the robot was outfitted with guns in a eerily realistic remake of the bots in the movies, making it not just the thing of fantasy but that which could very rapidly become a nightmare if things were to go wrong.

A co-founder of the Magellan Financial Group, which manages more than $37 billion, thinks the ride-hailing service Uber has a less than 1% chance of surviving the next decade.

“It’s constantly losing money, and its capital-raising strategy is a Ponzi scheme,” the co-founder, Hamish Douglass, said at the annual Stockbrokers and Financial Advisers Conference in Sydney.

Douglass says Uber is under threat from the arrival of autonomous cars, in which he doesn’t think ride-sharing business has an advantage.

He referred to Uber as one of the most stupid investments in history with a high probability of going bankrupt.

“When I look at Uber … I think of it as one of the most stupid investments in history,” the Australian Financial Review reported him as saying. “The probability of this business going bankrupt in a decade is 99%.”

And the competition is coming because the barriers to entry to ride-sharing are low.

“All they do is keep increasing their private-market valuation, and someone always says, I’ll put some money up, because next time they raise, it’ll be at a higher price,” Douglass says.

Uber was founded in 2009 in San Francisco and now operates in 58 countries and is valued at more than $60 billion.

Douglass and Chris Mackay founded Magellan a decade ago on the investing principles of Warren Buffett at Berkshire Hathaway.

The management of the Osun State University has closed down the institution’s campus in Ipetu Ijesa following the invasion of the campus by some Airforce men on Tuesday.

According to The PUNCH newspapers, the break was announced in a statement signed on behalf of the Acting Registrar by A.A. Adeosun started on Tuesday and students are expected back on the campus on May 31.

The statement read, “The Vice Chancellor has approved that all students of Ipetu Ijesa Campus of Osun State University should proceed on one week break from today Tuesday, May 23, 2017.

“The break is necessitated by the invasion of the campus and brutalizations of our staff and students by the men of the Nigerian Airforce Safety Institute, Ipetu Ijesa.

A lecturer at the Ogun State College of Health Technology, Ilese Ijebu, Dr Oluseyi Adu, and a Dental Nursing student, Mosunmola, are embroiled in a row over who is responsible for the pregnancy that the nursing student is carrying.

According to The PUNCH, Mosunmola, who is nine months pregnant, alleged that Adu was responsible for the child in her womb, adding that they had sex in a hotel sometime in August, 2016.

She said the lecturer beat her up last month when she confronted him at the college for avoiding her, adding that the case was already at the Ilese Police Station.

However, while Adu admitted to having sex with the 28-year-old, he insisted that he used contraceptive, saying the lady seduced him and he gave in to the temptation.

Mosunmola told our correspondent that she underwent a three-year course at the college, adding that several lecturers had asked her out before Adu, but she refused.

She said, “Dr Adu is the Oral Health Coordinator for the college. During my three years study, he taught me two courses each semester. I have never failed his course.

“When I got to second semester, 300 level, he awarded me 38 in one of his courses. I went to his office in August 2016 to know why I failed the course. I needed to pass all my courses to be able to go for my board exam.

“He asked me if I thought I could just come to the school and go like that. He said if I dated him, he would waive the course. He said he didn’t approach me in 100 level because another lecturer was interested in dating me.

“The lecturer he mentioned told me in 100 level that it was either I paid him money or used my body to pass his course. Because I didn’t agree, I failed his course. I didn’t pass it until I got to 300 level.

“I told Adu that I would date him, but I didn’t want to have any problem, and he assured me that there would be no regret.”

The victim said the lecturer took her to the office of the Head of Department and after some discussions, it was agreed that she could sit for the board exam.

After the board exam at POGIL College of Health Technology, Oke-Eri, Ijebu Ode, on August 21, Adu, who was among those on the panel, was said to have given Mosunmola some of his practical instruments and a laptop for safekeeping.

However, Mosunmola said when the school bus arrived to take the students back to the school, she forgot to give the practical instruments back to the lecturer.

She said Adu later called and asked her to bring the instruments to a hotel where he lodged.

“I was preparing to leave when he called me back that I would be sleeping over with him.

“I met him with another lecturer in my department. I observed that the lecturer also had a female student with him. From the hotel, we went to different places before we finally lodged in another hotel along Ilese Road. While I was with Adu in a room, my other classmate passed the night with the second lecturer in another room.

“We had three rounds of sex. He didn’t release on time. He used two condoms for the first two rounds. The third round was, however, flesh-to-flesh. That was when he ejaculated inside me,” she explained.

She said the lecturer dropped her off at home and they continued their relationship, until she stopped seeing her menstruation a few weeks later.

The Ogun State indigene said she became worried after she started vomiting, adding that she took a pregnancy test, which was positive.

She said when Adu heard the news, he reluctantly accepted responsibility, but allegedly gave her a drug, Eprostol, to abort the pregnancy.

She said, “I refused to take the drug because the prescription was not from a medical doctor. He came down to my place to persuade me to take the drug, but I still refused. He asked me what I wanted and I told him that I needed to change my accommodation because the pregnancy was a shameful thing for me. He told me not to worry, that he would handle it. After that, we had sex.

“When he left that day, I could not find my phone again. By the time I got another phone and called him, he started acting funny. Sometimes, he would just laugh at me.”

Mosunmola said attempts by Adu’s HOD, dean, and provost to mediate were rebuffed by the lecturer.

The victim said she later approached the Human Rights Office of the Ogun State Ministry of Justice at Ijebu-Ode, where a lawyer, one Kolade, called the parties for a meeting.

Adu was reported to have agreed to pay N5,000 feeding allowance per month, in addition to paying N7,000 for ante-natal registration.

After paying the allowance for two months, Adu reportedly stopped.

The parties reportedly held another meeting in March at the human rights office to review the agreement.

Conflict was said to have broken out among the parties when Mosunmola presented a list of things required for her delivery, which was valued at N50,000.

Adu was said to have insisted on paying N30,000, which the 28-year-old refused.

“I didn’t have any accommodation and I couldn’t buy any of the drugs the doctors prescribed for me. I told him I would only manage the N50,000. He left in annoyance.

“Since March, the lawyer didn’t call us back and Adu refused to pay the N5,000 he used to give me every month. I called the lawyer late March and asked him to help me get the N30,000, but the lawyer said I should not call him again,” she said.

She said while pleading with him for money for her medical expenses, the lecturer assaulted her.

Adu to appeal to him to raise the N50,000 for the baby things, he said he had no money and wasn’t willing to borrow because Mosunmola had turned him into a “cash cow.”

He said he had already informed his wife about the incident, adding that there was nothing that could surprise him again as his credibility had already been lost.

Adu said, “She was one of my students; but on a personal level, I never knew her until after they released her final results and she failed some courses, including mine.

“Her HOD asked her to come and ask me if I could waive the course for her. She called me on the phone and came to see me in the office. That was my first contact with this lady. When she made her request, I met her HOD who said I should assist her. He said even if I did, she might not sit for the board exam because of the other courses she failed. So, I passed her.

“When they sat for the board exam, I was surprised to see her and I asked her HOD why she wrote the exam when she had other courses she failed. He said people begged for her.

“After the board exam, she came to thank me for the assistance and she asked to carry my bag and the instruments I used to conduct the exam. By the time she was leaving, I collected my bag from her, but I forgot my instruments with her.

“That day, I went to hang out with my friend at the pool of a hotel where we lodged. Suddenly, I remembered my instruments and I called her to keep them well. But she said she could come to where I was and she came. After dropping the instruments, she didn’t leave as I expected and I decided not to bother her.

“We were together at the hotel till evening. One thing led to the other. My brother, she slept in my room that night and we had (sexual) intercourse. This was a girl I never dated or had any relationship with.”

He said by weekend, Mosunmola called him that she was pregnant, adding that she later said she was only joking about it and wanted to see his reaction.

Adu said the call made him to stop communicating with Mosunmola and he did not respond anytime she called, until she sent him a text message saying the pregnancy had become real.

He said, “I decided to travel down to Ijebu to see her. She brought out the test result and said I was responsible. I told her I used a condom and she couldn’t tell me that my condom burst. She said if I was afraid because I was married, I should not bother because the pregnancy actually belonged to her boyfriend and she merely wanted to see my reaction. I warned her and left.

“The next time she called me, she said how would she take my pregnancy to her boyfriend, and that I should take responsibility for it. She said she would abort the pregnancy if I wanted her to, but I must rent a house for her in Ijebu Ode and then she described the kind of house she wanted.

“When I heard that, I told her to do her worst, because it was obvious to me that she just wanted to blackmail me. She had been going round different places, telling people that I impregnated her. The question I ask is, did I rape her? Did I hypnotise her? You came to meet me where I was and we had fun, and now you are pregnant, and you are telling me I am responsible for a pregnancy I am denying?”

He said before Mosunmola could reach his wife, he quickly reported himself to her and begged for her forgiveness.

The medical practitioner said he reluctantly agreed to pay the N5,000 after much persuasion by the human rights lawyer, adding that he regretted the agreement because Mosunmola used it to make more demands on him.

“When she brought the list for the baby things, I asked her, ‘Why are you making me as if I am the father of your baby? Am I your husband?

“She suddenly flared up and said I should even go away that she didn’t want anything from me again. She cursed me and after that encounter, I decided to stop giving her anything,” he added.

He said Mosunmola came to attack him during the lecture. He said she was about stripping him naked when he forcefully detached himself from her.

Adu explained that the case of assault against him at the Ilese division had been thrown out after he told the police the student was the aggressor.

“The worst that will happen now is for me to die. I am not a young man; if I die, people will cry and I will be done.

“But I also ask myself, what if the pregnancy is mine? My prayer now is for her to deliver safely and we will determine the paternity of the child,” he said.

Two Genius brothers, Cannan and Carson Huey-You will be graduating from high school and Texas Christian University at the ages of 11 and 14 respectively.

Carson and Cannan’s prodigious skills were noticed by his mother Claretta Kimp. “Yes, they’re smart,” Kimp told The Washington Post, “but that’s just a small part of who they are.”

The brothers, she said, are also best friends, study partners and big fans of their puppy, Klaus. They wrestle and laugh and hold the door open for women, just like their mother taught them. At home, Carson and Cannan do not fight, not even during their epic Star Wars lightsaber battles that make Kimp cringe. And don’t worry, Kimp tells the peanut gallery, their social lives are perfectly adequate. Their childhoods haven’t suffered.

“My boys have more social skills than most adults,” she said. “They are just normal little boys who do normal little boy things.”

It was their brilliance, though, that first landed them in the spotlight.

Four years ago, at age 10, Carson was admitted to TCU in Fort Worth and he began classes as an 11-year-old. On Saturday, he’ll become the youngest graduate in the university’s history.

Kimp, who studied early education and business at Southern Illinois University, said she converted the spare bedroom in their home into a classroom before Carson was even walking. At first, he played with blocks there. Then she started sitting him in a chair for class.

He was so excited to learn, Kimp said, that they created a set school day from 9 a.m. to noon. But Carson would blow through the curriculum she planned in an hour. By age 2, he was reading books with chapters, and at age 3 he told his mum he wanted to learn calculus.

Kimp home-schooled Carson until he was 5 years old and learning at an eighth-grade level. She knew he needed to “get out a little bit,” she said, but she struggled to find a school that was willing or able to accommodate him. She finally found a small, private Christian school and cold-called the receptionist.

“I’m a normal functioning human being and I’m totally for real,” she recalls saying on the phone. “Here’s my situation.”

The principal eventually accepted Carson, and five years later he graduated as co-valedictorian.

Then the search for a school willing to accept a child started all over again.

Kimp said they visited numerous college campuses and listened to lectures about the Ivy League. But when it came time to decide, TCU bubbled to the top.

Ultimately, the decision was Carson’s. He told his mom that TCU “felt right.”

“TCU is our Ivy League,” Kimp said.

Physics professor Magnus Rittby, a senior associate dean, became Carson’s mentor and, eventually, his research adviser. Rittby knew how to ease Carson’s anxieties, push him academically and, most importantly to Kimp, treat her son like the kid he is.

“This experience at TCU would not have been possible without Dr Rittby,” she said.

Carson faced challenges most college kids don’t. Federal financial aid forms, for example, didn’t include his age in the drop-down menu, and his mum had to drive him an hour and a half to school every day in rush hour traffic.

Kimp eventually moved the family closer to campus, so their commute shortened to eight minutes. And the juggling act got even easier once Cannan started tagging along to TCU.

Because Kimp never wanted to make her sons feel in intellectual competition with each other, the divorced mum tried to avoid forcing Cannan down the same path as Carson. She wanted him to find his own way.

Cannan began on the traditional route, attending kindergarten with kids his own age. But my second grade, he was bored, and asked to be home-schooled like Carson, reported the Dallas Morning News. Kimp thinks her eldest son’s thirst for learning rubbed off on Cannan.

“They know that they are blessed to have a sibling and to have each other,” Kimp told The Post.

With both sons, she said she enjoyed “seeing the lightbulb moments.”

Cannan later enrolled in the same private high school that Carson attended. He went to the school to take exams, but mostly worked remotely from the TCU campus alongside his brother. Cannan even got to begin work on a research project with a TCU astronomy professor.

On Friday, he’ll walk at his high school graduation, and on Saturday, Carson will receive his college diploma.

An awkward drama played out at the Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA), on Thursday, as the institution’s Registrar, Dr Modupe Ajayi, physically assaulted Mr Isaac Adams, the clerical officer in her office.

According to Saharareporters, Mr Dele Durojaye, Chairman of the FUTA chapter of Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU), also confirmed the incident.

The SSANU leader, who condemned the Registrar’s action, disclosed that leaders of his union have taken steps in protest against the dehumanisation of the clerical staff.

“Honestly, this is very unfortunate for a university registrar to have descended so low by engaging in a brawl with a clerk. I wonder how this kind of people get into sensitive positions,” he lamented. Mr Durojaye also disclosed that the union has contacted its lawyers, adding that Dr Ajayi should be prepared to face charges.

A source close to the Registrar confirmed the incident in a phone chat.

“The incident actually happened, but I can’t speak for the Registrar because she might have her own personal reasons for such a display. Don’t forget that we are all human. Moreover, it is an in-house matter, not one for the press. I am aware that the Registrar has met with the council over the unfortunate incident,” the source said.

Online reports indicate that President Trump may have pressured then-FBI Director James Comey to pull the plug on the feds’ probe into ex-National Security Adviser Mike Flynn during an Oval Office sit-down in February.

Trump had fired the FBI chief last week after he had launched an investigation into Mike Flynn’s possible ties to Russian officials, New York Post reports.

Comey wrote the memo immediately after the meeting, which took place the day after Flynn resigned under pressure for lying to Vice President Pence about his contacts with the Russian ambassador, the paper reported, citing two sources who read the memo.

“I hope you can see your way clear to let this go, to let Flynn go. He is a good guy. I hope you can let this go,” Trump told Comey, according to the memo, adding that Flynn had done nothing wrong.

Comey wrote that he did not directly reply to the president’s request that he drop the probe, and only answered, “I agree he is a good guy.”

The White House denied the account, but some lawmakers said it would amount to obstruction of justice if confirmed and that it could lead to impeachment proceedings, a stunning development in an administration barely 4 months old.

In response, the White House has denied that version of events.

“While the president has repeatedly expressed his view that General Flynn is a decent man who served and protected our country, the president has never asked Mr Comey or anyone else to end any investigation, including any investigation involving General Flynn,” the White House said in a statement.

“The president has the utmost respect for our law-enforcement agencies and all investigations. This is not a truthful or accurate portrayal of the conversation between the president and Mr Comey.”

A White House aide also pointed out that Acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe told lawmakers last week that no one had tried to meddle in the investigation.

News of the memo drew a strong reaction from Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah), the chairman of the House Oversight Committee, who tweeted that his panel is “going to get the Comey memo if it exists. I need to see it sooner rather than later. I have my subpoena pen ready.”

Representative Elijah Cummings, a ranking Democrat on the Oversight Committee, called for Democrats and Republicans to join forces to investigate the latest bombshell to fall on the administration.

“You cannot let it go on and on and on,” said Cummings. “It is just a sad moment in our history.”

Senator Angus King, an Intelligence Committee member, said there are now two incidents that require investigation: Trump’s conversations with the Russian officials in the Oval Office and the allegation that he asked Comey to back off the Flynn investigation.

“If there are tapes [in the White House], we need to have them. This is very serious,” King told CNN. “Obstruction of justice is a very, very serious matter.”

The senator added that impeachment could be on the table if Trump is found to have urged Comey to end an investigation into his own administration.

The 22-year-old Brit who “accidentally” halted Friday’s devastating global cyberattack says he plans to give his $10,000 (£7,700) reward to charity.

“I don’t do what I do for money or fame,” he told Business Insider. “I’d rather give the money to people who need it.”

Late last week, a ransomware attack that used a leaked National Security Agency “EternalBlue” software exploit spread rapidly around the world, infecting organisations in more than 150 countries, including Britain’s National Health Service, the Spanish telecommunications giant Telefonica, Nissan, and FedEx, Business Insider UK reports.

But the “WannaCry” malware’s spread was coincidentally stopped in its tracks when a relatively unknown British security researcher who goes by MalwareTech registered a website he found when investigating the malware’s code. In doing so, he inadvertently triggered a “kill switch” and he continued to host the website when he realised what he had done.

Since then, he has been inundated with unwanted publicity, with journalists tracking down his real name, publishing his photo, and appearing outside his home, where he lives with his parents.

“If you turn up at my house you’re crossed off the list of potential media outlets I will do an exclusive with,” he tweeted on Monday. “For the record, I don’t ‘fear for my safety,’ I’m just unhappy with trying to help clear up Friday’s mess with the doorbell going constantly.”

He has now been offered a $10,000 reward — but he says he doesn’t want it.

HackerOne, a platform that lets security professionals report potential security issues in software, often in return for a cash reward publicly offered him the $10,000 bounty, writing, “Thank you for your active research into this malware and for making the internet safer!”

He responded that he would donate it to charity.

“I plan on holding a vote to decided which charities will get the majority of the money,” he wrote. “The rest will go to buying books/resources for people looking to get into information security who can’t afford them.”

In a message, MalwareTech told Business Insider he hadn’t decided the sort of charities he would give the reward to, and that he planned “to let people suggest which they think is best.”

However, he did say he would claim the other reward for his work, a year’s worth of free pizza, courtesy of the food delivery firm Just Eat.

28-year-old Olaolu Akorede of Hg2filmworks, has been arrested by the operatives of the Area J Command, Ajah, Lagos for allegedly procuring a harmful herbal liquid for his lover, Halimat, to drink for the treatment of diabetics, which later allegedly terminated her pregnancy and damaged her fallopian tube, PM Express reports.

His arrest followed a petition by Halimat through her counsel in the Chamber of Bislaw Legal Practitioners. Halimat, in the petition, said: “I met the suspect in New York, U.S, in November 2016 while both of us were on vacation and began a relationship.

“When I came back to Nigeria, I noticed that I was pregnant and I told him about the development and he was very happy on the phone.

“And he begged me to keep the pregnancy till he comes back to Nigeria for us to wed.”

“He requested for a return ticket to come back to Nigeria and I spent N400k to purchase a return ticket for him. When he came back to Nigeria, he also collected the sum of N2.5m from me to prepare for our wedding.

“But instead, he went to Abeokuta, Ogun State, to meet a native doctor who prepared a herbal liquid for him which he claimed was for treatment of diabetics. He convinced me to drink it and because I did not suspect anything, I drank from it.”

“Unknown to me, it was to abort my pregnancy or to kill me. After drinking it, I began stooling blood and ended up in the hospital.

Doctors later performed surgery on me and discovered that the herbal liquid had affected my unborn baby and damaged my Fallopian tube.”

Akorede, however, denied almost all the allegations but admitted that he procured herbal liquid for her to treat her diabetics.

He was arraigned before an Igbosere magistrate court on a 4 count charge of obtaining N2.5m under false pretence, procuring unknown herbal liquid to terminate a pregnancy, maliciously administering poison which caused the death of an unborn baby.

Magistrate Mrs O. O. Otitoju admitted him on bail in the sum of N200,000 with two sureties in like sum. He is to remain in Kirikiri prison till the bail conditions are met.

Jobs’ fingerprints are all over the massive, glass-enshrined and tree-lined campus in Cupertino, California, based on photos in the magazine’s June issue that hit newsstands Tuesday, the New York Post reports.

A good view of the building showed it was clearly one of his visionary masterpieces with his attention to detail so deep, it went all the way down to the custom door handles to the type of wood used in the offices.

“He knew exactly what timber he wanted, but not just ‘I like oak’ or ‘I like maple.’ He knew it had to be quarter-cut. It had to be cut in the winter, ideally in January, to have the least amount of sap and sugar content. We were all sitting there, architects with grey hair, going, ‘Holy shit!’” recalled Behling.

For its offices, Apple instead turned to custom timber veneer from recycled wood and installed height-adjustable desks with brackets to hide electrical wires.

The Apple visionary despised air conditioning and fans but didn’t want his employees opening windows either, so he insisted on installing a natural ventilation system in “The Ring.”

“The flaps and the opening mechanism all have to relate to sensors that measure where the wind is coming from and how the air goes through it,” said Stefan Behling, one of the project leads.

The concrete floors are lined with tubes of water that are supposed to keep temperatures between 68 and 77 degrees — allowing for the heating and cooling system to turn on only when needed.

“It’s not like we’re asking people to be uncomfortable at work. We’re asking them to recognise that part of being connected to the outside is knowing what temperature it is,” said Lisa Jackson, Apple’s vice president of environment, policy and social initiatives.

“We don’t want you to feel like you’re in a casino. We want you to know what time of day it is, what temperature it is outside. Is the wind really blowing? That was Steve’s original intention, to sort of blur that line between the inside and outside. It sort of wakes up your senses,” she said.

There are 9,000 freshly planted trees on the property, giving it a walkable campus feel, a 100,000-square-foot wellness and yoga centre with stone-covered walls, and its cafeteria can fit 4,000 employees.

“If Steve could reappear, it would be as he conceived it when he last saw it as drawings,” said lead architect Norman Foster. “He’d find some of the details that were not addressed in his lifetime but I believe he’d approve them.”

“This was a hundred-year decision,” Cook added. “And Steve spent the last couple of years of his life pouring himself in here at times when he clearly felt very poorly. Could we have cut a corner here or there? It wouldn’t have been Apple. And it wouldn’t have sent the message to everybody working here every day that detail matters, that care matters.”

It seems Arsenal star Alex Iwobi has broken up with his girlfriend Clarisse Juliette.

Iwobi and Juliette were said to be dating for three years and are known to show their relationship off on social media.

The former couple has however deleted each other’s photos from their social media pages.

The only photo of Iwobi on Juliette’s Instagram page, has the Arsenal star cropped out.

Alex celebrated his 21st birthday and didn’t get a birthday shout-out from Juliet. She was also noticeably absent at the birthday celebration which held at Alex’s parent’s house in London.

Juliette shared a video on her Snapchat of her holding some dollar notes with the caption ‘you’ll never get your bitch back’.

There have been unconfirmed reports online that the cause of the breakup was infidelity but no confirmation of the claims has been made.
