WorldRichest:Dem dash am wife for free? Whatever the case, in present day southern Nigeria, polygamy is mostly for rich men. Islam up north cheapened the process of acquiring a wife that equated marrying a woman to buying a goat. |
WorldRichest:You see how you guys always confuse yourselves. Polygamy was never by force in Africa before Islam showed up and reduced women to the level of goats. To be a man of many wives required you had the means of taking up several wives. When marriage rites in the Islamic north comes down to buying cloth for the wife to be, down south a marriage ceremony no be beans. Polygamy does not correlate with poverty! Polygamy in the traditional African setting meant wealth. A child in the olden days born to a monogamous home was poorer than one born to a polygamous home. Even up till this day, an Igbo or Effik man with several wives is most likely to be well off. Facts! |
Max24:You don't know Sanusi. Sanusi will go to Mars and back to find an excuse to blame for the north's backwardness in order to absolve his precious Islam. The other day he blamed the British for not laying a solid foundation for education in the north while the real case was that the British colonial govt never built schools but the Christian missionaries. Sanusi attended a Christian missionary school, St Anne's, Kaduna for his primary education. The northern elite had no problem sending their kids to Christian missionary schools that dotted the north but barred their subjects from doing so claiming it was Haram! What has Sanusi done since he came to the limelight? Nothing but empty excuses to exonerate his precious Islam of any blame |
There is polygamy in the south but you don't see people down south blowing themselves over one foreign deity. There is also poverty in the south but we still haven't witnessed the barbarism of a religious inspired insurgency. Amir Sanusi the main reason is Islam and nothing else. Stop dancing around the bush and address the fact that Islam is the main cause and recycler of poverty, ignorance, intolerance and Religious extremism. |
This is an ominous omen. We have an acting president and a late president |

Diplomats say President Muhammadu Buhari routes official trips via London in order to see his doctor and avoid declaring medical leave all the time, Reuters reports. The diplomats are unnamed, but they are thought to be from Western countries. Buhari is currently in the UK for vacation during which, he said, he would undergo medicals for an undisclosed ailment. He was scheduled to return to the country on February 5 – at the end of his 10-day vacation – but he extended the time indefinitely, citing advice from his doctor that he should wait to get his test results as the reason for his decision. “Diplomats say Buhari has made several visits to Britain to see his doctor, routing official trips even to destinations as far afield as Asia via London so as not to have to declare medical leave all the time,” the agency reported. Shortly after the president left on January 19, the rumour mill was agog that he had died, but the presidency deployed some strategies like releasing pictures of Buhari receiving guests in London. High profile politicians have visited the president in UK. Some of them are Daisy Danjuma, a former senator; Ibikunle Amosun, Ogun state governor; Bisi Akande, former governor of Osun state; Bola Tinubu, national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC); Senate President Bukola Saraki, and House Speaker Yakubu Dogara. Buhari transferred power to Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo before he left for the UK. https://www.thecable.ng/diplomats-say-buhari-routes-trips-via-uk-avoid-declaring-medical-leave |

Just today, I read that a western diplomat claimed that Buhari has been routing official trips via London to see his doctor. This thread was spot on as always. |

Eledan:They learnt very well from your drug mule daddies and mummies who operated the Thailand heroine ring from the 70's up to the 90's. Your movie stars, musicians, obas and even your political front man all have a checkered drug past. Your aunts in akpongbo and lace market in downtown Isale Eko used drug money as proceeds to start their lace business from Thailand. Even some of you tokunbos shared that vagina pouch with a couple of keys of pure terror d0pe white heroine as your mammy executed both immigration fraud to born you in a London hospital while trafficking drugs. Leave those village Igbos who ship a few gramns. Your senators, obas, governors, musicians , pastors and JAGABAN are the real drug barons |
Eledan:Or what? |
Someone rightly said, that Nigeria never got out of the recession that Buhari plagued Nigeria back in 1984 but that Nigerians got used to hunger afterwards that was slightly alleviated by increasing oil prices. I totally agree. Growing up in the early 80's I can recall all the good brands around from planta magerine, big dip chocolate ice cream, dallas bakery etc. Then hurricane Buhari came and all those locally made brands and outlets closed down. UTC and leventis stores held up with bare store shelves for a while but kingsway supermarket closed down and never returned. The greatest destruction Buhari did in 1984 was to drive away foreign investors and investments. Since 1999 up to 2014, those wary foreign investors began coming back to our shores and we can see it from job growth figures and wealth distribution in our economic. Then came Buhari once again to totally finish off our economy. I am beginning to think thus man was destined to be a destroyer because how on earth can we explain why he will still repeat all his obvious failed policies back in 1984 and recycle them in the 21st century? |
bitcoininvesto:We are at the point of no return Only thing left to do is to scrap the niara and adopt the dollar as our local currency |
