The issue of Israeli "occupation" of what is referred to as Palestine is one that may appear as a socio-political struggle for an independent Arab state with Jerusalem as it's capital.

This is what most of you naively tap into similar to the anti-Apartheid struggle of black South Africans.

But is the Palestine issue simply a political struggle to "liberate" the Arabs from Israeli "occupation"?

The answer is not as simple as one will expect it be but rather at the heart of the Palestine issue is actually a dark struggle of validating an Islamic prophecy handed down by the Prophet of Islam (Mohammed) to his followers that Jerusalem will become the capital of the global Caliphate ruled by the Iman Mahdi.
