GasAndOilTheory: YOU POINT DOESNT APPEAL TO REASON AND ITS INVALID. 1. THE CHURCH IS AN INSTITUTION and whatever wealth it has stays on this earth and cant be transfered to heaven 2. The Catholic church can not amas wealth for an individual since no man lives forever 3 The catholic church is in no way against holy matrimony infact if a child is born out of wedluck his method of baptism is diffrernt hence the marital bliss is impprtant
The catholic church is one of the richest institutions in the world.
It acquired all that wealth from centuries of pillaging, extortion and sacrilegious taxes on the poor illiterate followers.
It has retained much of that wealth and grown it significantly because all that wealth is kept within because their priests are forbidden to marry.
If catholic priests were allowed to marry and have kids then they won't be need accomodating the reverend father on church grounds and so the cost of maintaining a priest who will need a roof over his head will increase and after his death the property won't go to the catholic church but his children.
Don't forget that Paul prior to his conversion was a fanatical Jew bent on cleansing the earth of the Christian sect.
His conversion wasn't to Christianity as there wasn't such a thing at that time but his belief that Jesus was the long awaited messiah to lead the Jews .
He still had his parochial hypocritical rule books from his Sanhedrian days.
He also was initially against the conversion of Gentiles into the fold and was more at first interested in preaching to the Jews.
If not for Peter who overruled Paul, Christianity won't have existed but rather what we know of it now would probably be an obscure sect in Judaisim.
Since Paul did not have the Christian gift of love for all mankind , he reluctantly issued unnecessary sex laws that Jesus never even bothered to mention since if you truly have salvation you will be free of worldly temptations including the puna.
So paul in my honest view was a moral uptight man using laws to regulate and control his gentile followers.
gratiaeo: To be a priest is not by force just as st Paul said in 1 Corinthians 7:8 "Now, to the unmarried and to the widows I say that it would be better for you to continue to live alone as I do." But you will not expect that all the priest will be holy
Paul is the real moral fagg0t.
The dude was obsessed with sex .
Jesus said keep the old commandments and preached love between us humans.
Then came Paul with his holy holy crap.
The Pauline movement is from where this sex delinquent catholism rose out from .
Google Vatileaks and see how the Vatican has underground brothels exclusive for priests who pay to have sex with boys, young girls and everything else but the kitchen sink.
The catholic church is filled with sex deviants claiming holy.
Emyogalanya: Liar op am a catholic o and many of us are on this forum. I no doubt the marriage stuff but the church reaction in ur detail na wash man oso ndagoso was my bishop in borno before transferred. The church (congregation) does not derobe a priest like that. Once ordained he remains a priest forever in the order of melchizedeck
True .
I read of this Dutch Priest who runs a brothel in the Phillipines catering specifically for peadophilles .
He still wore his collars in the joint.
The Catholic Church just wrote him a strong worded letter to "stop that sh1t" and get back to his parish.
coolzeal: I don't think it will be wise to stereotype them as such, technically I've met lots of fantastic priests with Godly motives. The truth is, I can't imagine myself without a woman in my life. It's the most difficult thing ever.
coolzeal: The main reason I refused to go to major seminary some years back. ... I go dey ordain marriage rites for men and their beautiful wives but, i no fit get my own. E no easy.
If you had gone to a seminary school dem for turn you to homo.
That setup is nothing but a gay indoctrination school.
The only reason they don't allow their priests, monks and nuns to marry is so that all their wealth remains in the church.
A priest or nuns worldly possessions automatically transfers to the catholic church after his or her death.
The so-called proclamation of celibacy is in fact to keep the wealth within the catholic cult.
In as much as they claim to be celibate, their major reason for this is because they are against the marriage institutions.
Nuns where allowed into the catholic fold as comfort women for the priests and monks.
Alter boys are meant to satisfy the elite of the catholic church since they prefer boys as you go up on the catholic ladder.
No priest, reverend, bishop, monk or nun has been excommunicated from the catholic church because they had sex but only where they are found out to be married.
Nasman: With or without crude oil. We as Northerners we will continue to use our best tool (Unity). To maintain our dominance in the contemporary Nigerian Politics. Southerners have tried to use Christianity to bring their lack of unity traits into North. But, trust my Northern Compatriots we will always put them to shame. They created a word called "Middle Belt" to make some political gain. At the end of 2015 Elections we put them to shame once again. Hence, for the short memory people calling Middle Belt as North Central think again. In Arewa Unity, we trust.
Tell the Gwaris, Idomas, Beroms , Idomas , Tivi , Jukums that they are northerners in the midst of your rampaging Fulani jihadists .
By the way, they are also majoritly Christian in the middle belt.
So I don't know why you must assume that your Muslim ideology is universal in the north.
Ask the terrorized Christian Chibok community if after terrorizing them with your Islamic jihadist that they love your Islamic ways.
jahsharon: Please was it oyel that made Emeka Ezeogwu and his gang of murderers including their godfather Nnamdi Azikiwe to kill Abubakar Tafawa Balewa, Ahmadu Bello, Ladoke Akintola and other Northern and South West leaders while hiding the traitor Nnamdi Azikiwe abroad? Make thunder fire your generations.
You nutterers should be worshipping Nzeagwu because his MI5 coup was meant to usher the current central govt and put you guys at the helms in order to help Britain steal our oil.
adconline: Why does a northern Muslim feel that he's more related with a Muslim in the Middle East than a fellow Northerner from Middle Belt Naija who shares the same DNA? Why does an average northerner care about "injustice" in the Middle East but doesn't care about Muslim-Muslim or Muslim to Xtian justice in the north??
There is a driving club in Abuja composed of super rich young Hausa/Fulani men and boys .
The middle east has always been a no-go area for Nigeria as we have rightfully remained neutral in the affairs of that region.
By attending a Conference in London over Syria what exactly is Nigeria set to gain?
Over the years successive administrations have rightfully steered clear of the middle east and our stance of remaining neutral has always been observed up till now.
Remember how we abstained from voting on a separate state of Palestine with Jerusalem as it's capital? And how many muslims in Nigeria considered this an act of betrayal and sign of the last administration siding with the "zionist" state? The misguided bigots in the north never bothered to review our history of neutrality in the middle east but where quick to jump in and use it as a sign of an anti muslim agenda by the Jonathan govt.
Now if I may ask, what is Nigeria's business in the sectarian conflict in Syria?
Does this have anything to do with the recently announced Saudi Sunni coalition which listed Nigeria as part of the evil axis?
Why must our foreign policy shift from neutrality in the middle east all of a sudden all because we have a fundamental muslim fanatic in office?
He has already messed up our economy by meddling with affairs of the CBN and ministry of finance to which he has no clue; now he is set to mess up our foreign policy and risk putting us smack in the middle of a foolish Islamic sectarian civil war.
Is Nigeria under the gworo master going to recognise the Islamic State? Because if Nigeria is to foolishly and blindly follow the saudis path then I expect Buhari to be one of the first African leaders outside Sudan to formally recognise ISIS if a deal is brokered for the establishment of a separate region within Syria for the Caliphate.
APCHaram: "But what they do not know is that, once they allow us to vote, we will all vote for Islamic parties because we do not believe in left and right. This will make us win local councils and as we begin to accumulate power in the Catalan autonomous region, Islam will begin to be implemented."

The issue of Israeli "occupation" of what is referred to as Palestine is one that may appear as a socio-political struggle for an independent Arab state with Jerusalem as it's capital.
This is what most of you naively tap into similar to the anti-Apartheid struggle of black South Africans.
But is the Palestine issue simply a political struggle to "liberate" the Arabs from Israeli "occupation"?
The answer is not as simple as one will expect it be but rather at the heart of the Palestine issue is actually a dark struggle of validating an Islamic prophecy handed down by the Prophet of Islam (Mohammed) to his followers that Jerusalem will become the capital of the global Caliphate ruled by the Iman Mahdi.
As long as Israel and the Jews still occupy Palestine and control Jerusalem, this prophetic claim and it's prophesier become more invalidated!
This is why the Palestine cause is more of a religious struggle with virtually every muslim on the planet taking sides with their fellow Muslim Arabs.
Amir Sanusi is no ordinary Muslim. He is in effect, by virtue of his current office, the head or leader of the Muslim population of Kano. His position isn't a traditional tittle but more of a religious one.
This is why Amir Sanusi is venting his frustrations on GEJ opting to remain neutral (as we have always done) on the Palestinian vote.
One of the biggest misconceptions most people have of islam and it's holy sites is assuming wrongly that Mecca is the most holiest of all Islamic sites. The most holy site in Islam isn't Mecca but Jerusalem and at the centre is the Alqas Mosque.
Mohammed in one of his many dubious claims, told his followers that he fell into a trance and found himself at the centre of the ancient ruins of the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem from where he further claimed he ascended to heaven. It was while he was in Heaven that he was told that Jerusalem will be the future Capital of the global Islamic empire from where the Iman Mahdi will rule the world.
The Palestinian Cause is thus a religious quest to juxtapose a long dead prophetic claim unto the world.
This is why the likes of Sanusi are throwing their weight on Palestine!
plainol: [s]The conflict is about land grabbing. Isreal wants to steal Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Golgotta, West Bank, Gaza and Samaria from the Palestinians so they can complete their imaginary history.
If Palestina is given independence today, they will have definite boundary hence the craze for continuous occupation[/s].
The conflict is about proving Muhammed's prophecy of Jerusalem as the capital of the future global Islamic caliphate!
APCHaram: Why Sanusi supports Palestinian Independence with Jerusalem as it's capital "But what they do not know is that, once they allow us to vote, we will all vote for Islamic parties because we do not believe in left and right. Wadeoye: War loading in south south... I pity those hiding in the creeks to sabotage the country. No wonder they are coming out from the creeks in the name of Ijaw national youth council to appeal to government.
bajirao: bullshit if oil is found in the north nothing will change when it comes to northern unity. the north is not united based on tribal sentiments but based on religious inclinations.
I thought Boko Haram Sunni Moslems killing other Muslims was only in my head...
