67RC medicals was very strict, they didn't even tell those eliminated the reasons why they were eliminated. They just told them that they're unfit.


To me I'll say 69rc was the hardest because they were just looking for only 8 candidates. That means they'll just be looking for any fault to eliminate you so that their work will become easy. After medicals my state was remaining just 9,benue too was remaining 9. Kwara state had the lowest number of people that failed medicals, they were remaining 18.



What I'm trying to say is that if you could pass 69rc medicals but you didn't make the final list then you're a big fool because the medicals helped many people.

To be clear...firstly there is nothing like short service combatants only regulars are combatants(excluding ARMY where there is a DSSC option)...SSC who wants to be a combatant will have to go for DRC ..
Air pilots are usually RCs (only very few even get to fly,even though they may be qualified)most flying SSCs in the air force are from back in the days(dollars to doughnuts ,you will hardly find a SSC pilot of the rank of squadron leader and less) back then since the AIR FORCE is relatively new compared to army and navy,...SSCs air force no dey near hangar talk less about cockpit

The general20017 you would not be trained as a pilot, pilots most times are for short service combatant, although nda might decide to train some cadet to be a full pilot but it is not rear. Mind you, your arm of service can be changed at any point of the interview it depends on the population required and your intellect with physique sometimes.
