Today I drove him to village and on the way he did the same shouting and telling me to look out for bumps.

This distracts me and makes me lose focus. Out of anger i shouted back at him to keep quiet and allow me drive.
That i have eyes and i can see the bumps

Now i told him that he should never enter my car or unless he will keep quiet and allow me concentrate on my driving.
No talking, he should keep it shut through out the whole journey.

Now he is feeling bad, did i do anything bad??

OP...is like you didn't first drive your Dad in his car before buying your own, if not , you won't see anything wrong in how he wishes to direct you and be the boss in your own car...

Can you be a bit easy on yourself first, laugh with your Dad and joke with him while driving
