Even the Argentinian Coach has admitted the Nigerian team will be hard to beat so why should anyone think we are underdogs.

Argentine national team coach Sergio Batista admitted that his side "trampled all over Brazil" in their emphatic 3-0 victory in the semi-finals of the Olympic Games on Tuesday,

We played with intelligence and personality," stated Batista after Argentina's sensational victory courtesy of two goals from Sergio Aguero and another from team captain Juan Roman Riquelme.

"We are celebrating this victory that is very important for us, and now we are thinking about Nigeria, who will be very difficult rivals," affirmed the coach, in reference to the side Argentina will face in the gold medal match of the Olympic Games.

Nigeria thrashed Belgium 4-1 in the other semi-final on Tuesday, and have yet to be defeated in the tournament.

"Nigeria will be a complicated team, but for now we are enjoying the victory over Brazil," insisted Batista, who will be hoping to get revenge over the Africans after having lost the decider in the Atlanta Olympics of 1996.

Despite being asked questions about their opponents in the final, Nigeria, Batista preferred to talk about their victory over Brazil, a result that he said makes Argentine football fans "very happy."

"We have learnt that we have to be patient with Brazil, we shouldn't attack them, because that way it is easy for them to hurt us," he stated. "Today we trampled all over them."[/color][color=#990000][/color][color=#990000]

I can see that a lot of people talk without having made any attempt to research or found out for themselves.

The main question is the state of flat and what part of the area. if it is a run down council estate you could get if for that price or maybe less.

Doctors are poorly paid in Nigeria because the government does not want to spend more money on healthcare. If more funds were spent on good hospitals and training then inevitably the pay of staff would increase. Oil and Gas workers are well paid because there is money being generated and spent in that sector by Shell, NNPC and the likes.

The average life expectancy in Nigeria is 46yrs but Nigerian Government isn't too concerned about it. A real shame. --

In the UK the British Government declared free health care NHS at a time when the governement was still recovering from the effects of the Second World War. I do not see why Nigeria could not try and introduce something slightly similar that would at least provide subsidised good quality healthcare.

As for the case of doctors serving their community and being happy with the job satisfaction even though pay is poor that is utter crap. I know many doctors who worked in Government Hospitals during the 1980's. Most retired as paupers with no pension and some ended up dying with nothing to show for their service.

In the UK the average salary for qualified GP is £110,000 (N24million) per annum. House officers start on about £20,000 per annum. Tax is high but thats what pays for the NHS and other services. I do not blame any doctor who decides to leave Nigeria for greener pastures.

That is why health care in Nigeria will always be very poor.

Even the rich cannot get good healthcare in Nigeria.

This is because the government does not spend enough money on Health. Health is wealth.

If you have a healthy population then the workforce will provide a better service.

Does anyone know how much the senior people employees in Nigeria earn?

For example Bank Managers, Senior Executives in firms, and Senior staff in the Oil and Gas sector?
