Gbawe:
Indeed. One has to wonder if Nigerians who support the PDP and GEJ are mentally 'healthy' at all. Any well-exposed person will know that Nigerians are virtually the worst in the world in terms of tolerance of misrule and the worshipping of their oppressors. you will find, for example, that this chap who spoke negatively about this superlative delivery from Fashola will be the same person who is an ardent supporters of the hideously corrupt, indolent, incompetent and uber-misruling GEJ who did not even deliver a single noteworthy project while Governor of Bayelsa.

I have long given up trying to understand some "suffering and smiling" Nigerians because when it comes to 'cutting your nose to spite your face' then Nigerians have no match in the entire universe. Decades of suffering and being stripped of their dignity has really 'ruined' many Nigerians mentally even if they cannot see or note this themselves.
The thing is, if you are going to run your mouth and criticize, at least do it by showing me something similar or better in your village or commissioned by your FG.

Seeing many sick Nigerians beg for donation for kidney transplant treatment abroad remains very heartbreaking and embarrassing and even Fashola spending taxpayers money to send sick patients abroad for such treatments compounds the problem since the problems doesn't go away.

So, Fashola just 3 years ago promised to stem the tide and money drain by establishing similar facilities in Nigeria

>>>>>>>Fast forward to 2015. As promised, Fashola put his money where his mouth is by building and commissioning the Lagos State Cardiac And Kidney Center in Nigeria.

It doesn't cost even and heart to build and commission such facilities in Nigeria and it's not rocket science, it's all about doing the right thing instead. We have a president running all over the country bribing and sharing millions of dollars just to stay in office by any means necessary.

Funny enough with the mentally and socially bankrupt always negative clowns running their mouth in this thread, this same Fashola have sent many of their sick kinfolks abroad for kidney transplant and other treatment when their own state governments kicked them to the curb like they don't even exist.

This is another conformation and affirmation that we need and must have #CHANGE.

State police enforces laws passed by states based on their needs from safety and security concerns to health care and so on.

This inhumane, unjust, deadly and thoughtless law is national, it's a blanket policy that Nigerians in every corner of Nigeria can not escape, but with state laws and police, my state or your state doesn't have to go along with such polices.

Politics › Re: How INEC Paid Tinubu's ACT Tech N2.6bn For Production Of Pvcs But Defaulted by aresa: 5:03am On Mar 18, 2015
anneedu:
As the controversy continues to trail the production and supply of the permanent voters’ cards (PVCs) for the elections, it has emerged that a Nigerian company, ACT.Technologies Limited, was awarded a N2.6 billion contract by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to produce the PVCs, which was in turn sub-contracted to a Chinese firm.

Based on the electronic payments exclusively obtained from INEC by THISDAY, the transfers showed that over N2.6 billion was paid to the Nigerian company where Bola Tinubu has substantial interest,   for the production and supply of over 68.8 million PVCs within a period of seven months.

It was further gathered that the PVCs were expected to be produced at a unit cost of N65.

THISDAY gathered that the electronic payment mandate for the production of the PVCs was routed through two banks, an Islamic Bank – JAIZ Bank – and the First City Monument Bank (FCMB) Limited between 2013 and 2014, which showed that ACT.Technologies charged with the production of the PVCs had been fully paid, but is yet to supply all the PVCs for the elections.

A breakdown of the payment mandate showed that INEC on February 14, 2013 paid the sum of N489,937,500 to ACT.Technologies, being part payment for the production of the PVCs. The money was paid through JAIZ Bank.
Another transfer of N585 million was made on July 16, 2013 to the company via FCMB; on June 11, 2013, N293,962,500 was effected through JAIZ Bank; while on August 13, 2013, INEC paid N130 million.
In addition, N234 million was paid to ACT.Technologies for the supply of 40 million PVCs through JAIZ Bank on January 24, 2014, while the last transfer of N590,871,418 was made on February 19, 2014.
All the electronic payment mandates were signed by the Secretary of INEC, Augusta Ogakwu; Director of Finance, Hajiya Salamatu Ibrahim; and Director of Budget, T.W. Afannga.
According to an INEC source, despite the full payment for the contract, a batch of PVCs were yet to be produced.
Shortly after the elections were postponed, Jega had informed the Senate that some 800,000 to one million PVCs had still not arrived the country from China.
Based on the electronic payments exclusively obtained from INEC by THISDAY, the transfers showed that over N2.6 billion was paid to the Nigerian company for the production and supply of over 68.8 million PVCs within a period of seven months
