What project does osun commission, this year alone Anambra state has recorded so much investment that a former head of state had a good time commissioning projects and the vice president had to describe Anambra as the most productive state.
Anambra with their realistic budget has recorded better educational attainment and results than even lagos. Anambra did not owe salary for a day and had to increase salary as a result of prudent management of resources.
Today Anambra is a net producer of rice and a net exporter of vegetables and a foreign exchange earner.

It's an aberration for an Osun craftsman talk about Anambra issue
Anambra is richer than Osun, but Osun posts larger budgets than all the states in SE, Osun commissions projects everyday and even more than the whole of SE, Osun is paying full N18,000 salary while Anambra can not afford to pay full 18k minimum wage salary.

Can you show us what they commissioned in Anambra lately.... don't bother because I know you can not apart from MOU..

In 2014 there was no recession because our good President Gej wass in power but in 2017 the Father of Recessionist has come to the throne so Anambra needs to work with the prevailing economic climate
1. There is zero difference between past and present budgets in terms of development since the figures are just figures that has nothing to do with realities on the ground and in fact the actual budget based on funds at hand is always far far less.

2. There is also zero difference between past and present budgets in terms of delivered infrastructures and the fact that Anambra is incapable of delivering infrastructures like they have been unable to do shows that the state is poor and can not function beyond paying salary that's not even up to the required N18,000 minimum wage.

3. Regardless who is in power and what the budget was and is today, it makes no difference because it's the same anambra that is sliding backwards financially since the impression many of you create on NL everyday is that Anambra is rich which we all know is false..

If Anambra spend too much you go complain, if they spend low you go still complain. You hypocrisy on this forum reeks to hell dude. Get a life and get well soon cause the hatred you have for Anambra state is inherently evidenced in most of your posts here.

C'mon Aresa stop it now undecided

No need to compare both. It still hurts what Ambode did to Fash in the begining of his tenure but hey, both parties have moved on from it.
What I posted has nothing to do with election or Fashola Vs Ambode, it was based on solid performance and what he really should be doing or have been doing instead of cosmetics here and there.

It's almost 2 years and we still don't have any serious or visionary work on his part, we are talking about a very rich state with the largest operating state budget in West Africa, even his 2017 budget is twice more than Fashola's largest budget.

Donating stuff and caring for the police command in Lagos state is of course a good thing, but we need strong direction and clear signals where and what his priorities are regarding the future of Lagos sate..

His predecessor at the same time was commissioning multiple projects from hospitals to water works, power plant, schools, roads, bridges and so on, but Ambode is yet to move beyond donating to police and bad and hurriedly done roads.

Politics › Re: Fayose Wears Military Attire For Budget Presentation At Ekiti House Of Assembly by aresa: 4:07pm On Dec 06, 2016
This is a state with zero natural resources and little or no meaningful IGR and totally dependent of dwindling FG allocation and bailouts talking about N93 billion budget even though it's still a very poor state budget that really can not do anything beyond salary payments and minor road fixes here and there so where exactly is he going to get N93 billion from?

Of course this budget is just a show budget that's not rooted in reality and income..

If I must advise you brother, stop disgracing yourself or making yourself an object of mockery here. YUCK!! angry angry
In 1977, the military head of state, Lt. Gen. Olusegun Obasanjo, set up a crude oil sales tribunal to investigate the operations of the Nigerian National Oil Company (NNOC, which metamorphosed into NNPC same year).

The tribunal found out that in three years, NNOC had failed to collect its equity share of oil produced by Shell, Mobil and Gulf.

As a joint venture partner, NNOC was entitled to 182.95 million barrels of oil production. But NNOC did not find buyers for its own share, thereby losing a potential income of $2.8 billion.

But it was instead reported by the media that $2.8 billion was missing.

Theres always going to be funds for police welfare and equipment via the Lagos state security trust fund and insurance scheme crated by Fashoda.

Ambode is still scratching the surface when in fact he should by now be digging and coming up with major, groundbreaking and visionary projects like this predecessors..

2 years later, we still don't have a single major Ambode visionary project or projects. He's very very behind when it comes to his predecessors especially considering the fact that ambode is working well over N200 billion more than Fashola's largest budget and N 400 billion more next year.

Lagos Metro should be prioritized and 4th mainland bridge should be off the ground by now..
