Governor Babatunde Fashola of Lagos State has said the state will meet the demand of potable water supply to the residents by 2020. The governor gave the assurance on Tuesday after inspecting the ongoing construction in the Adiyan waterworks. He said the project was designed to put an end to scarcity of potable water supply to the residents. The governor, who also inaugurated an 18 classroom block at Sonmori Senior Comprehensive High School, College Road, Ifako Ijaiye and First African Primary School, Iju–Ishaga, said the All Progressives Congress would continue to provide dividends of democracy to the people. Fashola said, “The construction work in the Adiyan waterworks phase II is in top gear. The contractor has shown that his men could work at night and hopefully, this will speed up the construction of the waterworks. “This is the third major waterworks in the state. The first was the Iju waterworks which was built in 1910. There was no major intervention in the state until 1991 when Adiyan waterworks phase I was constructed. That was a long time and the population continued to grow in the state. “This is direct government funding. The long term plan is that we will need more of this to be able to hit the water demands of the residents of the state. The plan is that by 2020, we should be able to meet the plan of the citizens of the state.” The governor explained that provision of water alone was never the answer to water scarcity, but the conservation of water. He said, “Like all utilities, one can never oversupply. So, to have adequate supply, it requires minimisation of waste and water conservation. “Work on the Ifako-Ijaiye mini stadium is ongoing and it will be completed on time. It is a commitment I made to them and I assured them that I will deliver it. And hopefully, we will finish it before 2015.”

Clown, instead of the little by little increment, why not just cut through the chase and tell us you currently live in osogbo and not your village because this is where your lying asssss is heading...lmao Hey, the other joker said his village in akwa ibom gets 20 hours too, is it because they transmit electricity in akwa ibom too....lmao. Am still daring you to spew the foolishness below there . . .Dumb assshole.. why should I open any thread for you to back up the claim you made in this thread? How retarded can this clown get.... Btw, do you really need another thread for another lie since you've already spewed your facts that you know osun gets 20 hours electricity because you served in osun yesterday... Dirty old man, abeg leave this idiocy for your children..... |
jmaine: An uninformed. But instead of informing with facts, your dumb asss is dancing around like a freeking headless chicken talking about you served in Osogbo so you know they have electricity yesterday and today... ujoinme: stop lying about Akwa Ibom, its not going to get APC anywhere near our state house. infact i can assure you that APCwill not win even a single councillor seat in Akwa Ibom next election. so save your effort try and retain the SW states which the PDP will surely cleanup come may 2015.Ekiti is already gone next is lagos oyo and ogun will all be PDP next year because they all want the kind of transformation in Akwa IbomYou came at me saying Lagos state has 40% electricity coverage and I busted your rubbish with facts. You ranted about your uncommon transformation, but apart from a few roads in Uyo, you have nothing else to show us, the other 4-5 projects in Akwa Ibom are all uncompleted with 8 years in office and the largest state budget in West Africa. Now you are talking about APC, PDP, ZYZ, CCP, OPC, GYK and all that nonsense? Who gives a freeking fcukk about all that nonsense? Is this can't read and comprehend day in NL? |
[s] jmaine: Open the thread and illuminate your ignorance . . . Bloody internet Nigerian who doesn't know what's obtainable on ground making needless noise . . .[/s] You capacity to troll doesn't bother me and you can troll till eternity, at least I now your dumb assss is doing it because you have no credible facts to back up your claims with... lmao @ I served in Osun so I know they have 20+ hrs electricity in Osun? lmao. Got to be the most unintelligent and comical rubbish ever on NL. |
jmaine: Before you can be taken serious, you must tell us which village you are from ? . . . .Where I come from was not the reason why you lied. Provide facts to back up your claim or STFU you miserable liar... |
jmaine: People conversant with OsogboAnd that's your dumb asssss? You are conversant with Osogbo, but you can not back up your osogbo claim with credible facts. You are obviously talking about the Osogbo under your bed... Seriously, do you rejoice in your idiocy and stupidity...? |
ujoinme: it will take your state a long time to provide the kind of coverage the uncommon transformer is doing in Akwa ibom. What's so uncommon about in Akwa Ibom? Whatever you have in there doesn't stretch beyond a few roads in Uyo, 1 E library, 1 uncompleted hospital, 1 uncompleted stadium, 1 uncompleted airport. Is there any other thing in Akwa Ibom funded by the state government to show us beyond the ones I just listed? After 8 years in office and the largest budget in West Africa, completed projects apart from roads are less 5 so again, what's uncommon about that? Please relax with that lame talk jare... |
ujoinme: Ekoile or what ever you chose to call your self now, go and sit down or STFU. the minister of power has stated last month that 60% of Nigeria is not connected to the National grid! that means your own state has only 40% coverage of electricity on the Unlike the rest of Nigeria, 90% of the population of Lagos have access to electricity. You might want to keep your bogus info to yourself... |
jmaine: I served in Osun stateSTFU you dumb idiott. You know they have 20 hrs electricity in Oshogbo yesterday, last week or last month because you served in Oshogbo yesterday, last week or last month? Is this your proof? Do you even think before spewing your unintelligent rubbish? Is it not obvious that you are the dumbest, the most thoughtless and unintelligent clown on NL... |
jmaine: Yes, you should open a thread and get live feedback from those in NIGERIA , who reside in OsogboSenile old dumbo, you made the the dumb and ignorant claim, not the people of Osun and last time I checked, Oshogbo is far far away from your village. See your miserable life you piece of shittt. Don't make ignorant claims you can not back up with facts.. |
jmaine: Open a thread concerning my claims .And did you open any thread to talk about Oshogbo or was your ignorant claim made in the non existing thread you created about Oshogbo inside Akwa Ibom thread and topic? See how dumb, pointless and unintelligent you are? All because your dumb asss can not provide any proof to back up your stupidity and ignorance... You are so brainless that even the most basic post of yours sounds retaarded and moronic.. You are even worse than the average NL troll... Dumb asss old man... |
lmao... ![]()
|
jmaine: Osogbo who enjoy 20+And your dumb assss still can not provide any proof to back up your idiotic nonsense.. Old Asss Reetard... |
[s] jmaine: Ekoile, Osogbo has 22+ hours electricity on a consistent basis . . . . . It is only Fools like you that will chose to argue against a valid case, simply because you revel in your genealogical ignorance and stupidity . . .[/s] What's wrong with this nuisance? Is Akwa Ibom now Osogbo? You really shouldn't bother the internet with your stupidity because you don't know how to fcukinng read, comprehend and intelligently follow any simple discussion. Your idiotic self can not even produce PCHN's power allocation to Osogbo to justify your ignorant rubbish? Old for nothing nuisance... |
Systeme101: its obvious ur nt an indigene of the state...else you'll appreciate the governor for doing this much considering the fact that his haters hav been distracting his administration with uncountable litigations and distractions @ a point he was paralysed with charms. ..hv u considered all this b4 pointing accusing fingers? If ur an akwaibomite am disapointed in u.Did the same JUJU abi charms prevented him from buying a private jet for himself? Did the same JUJU abi charms prevented him from buying 4 luxury armored Mercedes Benz trucks for himself? Did the same JUJU abi charms prevented him from buying luxury jeeps for celebrities ? Did the same JUJU abi charms prevented him from sending dozens of people to dubai for 2face's wedding all paid by the people of Akwa Ibom? I've heard it all, this is going straight to another ridiculous and absurd level... ![]() |
[s] jmaine: Ekoile, your caustic foolishness is legendary, but we won't allow you to exhibit them here confidently . . . .[/s] And you get 20 hrs electricity in Osogbo from where? From PCHN or from your assss..lmao. What a retaard... |
[s] anonimi: You must be a really CONFUSED fellow ascribing diiferent budget amounts for the same year 2013[/s] 1. In 2013, Akpabio signed his N470 billion into law and barely half way though the year, he asked his rubber stamp lawmakers for N70 billion supplemental.Fixed. Reconcile or dispute the budget gimmick and I'll take you seriously. ^^^^^ Hence the largest budget in Nigeria |
jmaine: [s]Another bold display of aarogant ignorance . . .Oshogbo boast of over 22 hours of electricity spanning years now. . . . . [/s].STFU please. We are taking about Akwa Ibom so get out of here with your dumb and idiotic irrelevant cant read and comprehend rubbish. |
Itoroetti: fly over in itam isnt in uyo ,fivestar hotel isnt in uyo.the biggest round about in west africa isnt in uyo.the most beautiful plaza isnt in uyoFive star hotel, biggest round about in west Africa is all you can come up with even with the largest state budget in West Africa? Must you people try too hard to sound dumb, clueless and unintelligent? ![]() |
anonimi: When you say richest state in Nigeria and largest state budget budget in Nigeria one wonders whom you think you are talking to with all your LIES.I try as much as possible to ignore your ignorant and pointless rants and I'm even doing this against my best judgement because you are a troll. But, I'll expose your ignorance anyway.... Let me expose Akpabio's budget fraud and why his budgets remains the largest in Nigeria. 1. In 2013, Akpabio signed his N470 billion into law and barely half way though the year, he asked his rubber stamp lawmakers for N70 billion supplemental. N470 billion + N70 billion = N550 billion ^^^^^ Hence the largest budget in Nigeria In 2013, Akpabio signed his N459 billion into law and barely half way though the year, he asked his rubber stamp lawmakers for N125 billion supplemental. N459 + N125 billion = N584 billion ^^^^^ Hence the largest budget in Nigeria 2. Based on population and societal needs per head, Akwa Ibom remains the riches because there's more money at hand to spend on the citizenry and infrastructures.. 3. Also based on population and increasing needs the Akwa Ibom is not facing or dealing with, Lagos state have to build more hospitals, more health centers, more roads, more schools, hire more teachers, more civil servants and so on just to keep up. 4. Akwa Ibom with 5 million people faces no such task or need, but still ends up with more cash at hand to spend on each indigent of Akwa Ibom Knowing you are a troll, I'll go ahead and put you on Ignore till further notice... |
How nice coming from a troll.rozayx5: You know nothing about akwa ibom so p!S's. Off Btw, no community in Nigeria gets 20 hrs electricity. It's impossible strictly based available MWs and power transmission and allocation to states.. You might want to peddle that ignorant rubbish elsewhere... |
rozayx5: Please Which state are you from?We are talking about Akwa Ibom so troll elsewhere if you have nothing better to contribute.. |
Systeme101: if you where the governor what would you do in ur tenure? Was rome built in a year? Its only a fool that can say the governor has nt tried...i dnt care how much he stold, the state is advancing.Saying he has tried is one thing, listing exactly what he did is another so why ot just let me help you by listing exactly what he did.. 1. E library 2. Roads and flyovers in Uyo 3. Uncompleted Stadium 4. Uncompleted Hospital 5. Uncompleted Tropicana entertainment center 6. Uncompleted airport. 7. 8. 9. 10. I can not even count to Ten - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - That's from 8 years in Office from the richest state in Nigeria and largest state budget in Nigeria... Please help fill in the GAP in case I missed anything... |
Funny enough, this man man spent taxpayers money on a power plant that he knew wont benefit his own people directly, but his people benefiting directly from the power plant was never his idea, it was all about swiping off funds into his own pocket via refund he received from the FG. At the end of the day, whatever the power plant generates get fed into the national Transmission grid and not directly to Akwa Ibom, the rest of the country gets the same lousy MW regardless of your state's power plant. That was basically money down the drain or I should say down his own pocket.. |
rozayx5: the village next to Mine in Oruk Anam, stole things from their transformer, and while mine and some other neighbouring villa enjoy light, they are still in darkness, punch wont take such into consideration though Generator fumes kill five in Akwa IbomWhat are you talking about? The dead folks in the above article didn't get electricity because things got stolen from their transformer too? And that was just last month.. |
Forget about your ten years without electricity, troop down to Uyo and enjoy Goodluck Boulevard... It amazes me why the richest state in Nigeria still can not function beyond roads in one single locality which is Uyo and all the things the thoughtless crooked governor is spending money on apart from the roads in Uyo have little or no direct benefits to the taxpayers. Imagine the richest state in Nigeria struggling to complete a single hospital in almost 8 years later, but the same brainless and unconscionable man is dying to complete his Ego projects like the stadium instead of the hospital. What government spends taxpayers money on hotels, movie cinema, entertainment centers and not on things that really matters to the populace? |
