[s] Mcowubaba:[/s] What's made GEJ and the president of the country vowed to exile himself if he didn't build that bridge? Did he vowed to exile himself because of seaport, airport and all the other stuff you listed? Abeg clear road.. |
amaechi1:This is more than GEJ, this is eternal hate, GEJ or no GEJ. That was the only basket they put their eggs in and that and that basket is no more so where else do you want them to go? They don't have any credible leader at home to look up to and Okorocha doesn't matter because he's with the Hausa and Yoruba party. Where is the sense and wisdom in haling, supporting and championing a man that his own people have openly lambasted and discredited for poor performance? They have moved on so why are ibo people still crying and moaning all over the place? Because they have nothing worthy at home to be proud of or look up to. |
RichYoungNigga:You didn't attend elementary school or any school in Nigeria at all? This is very very sad. Google Nigerian presidents... smh... |
omenka:I guess the ibo people you just referenced are trying to satisfy tinubu too... |
Mcowubaba:The most important thing and political requirement demand made by Igbo people in the past 30 years is 2nd NB, the people you followed and the PDP for 16 years gave you nothing but worthless and broken promises, even the GEJ you still call your hero vowed to go into exile if that bridge was not built by him, well, he didn't build it and he's still not in exile and you people even love him more than ever. Fast forward to your post above, the man you just trashed finally put money on the table and also inserted the bridge into his budget to make sure it gets built and you still want the sensible, sane and rational world to believe that he doesn't give a damn about you, but the people who lied to you, the people who sold you lemon promises for your votes and refused to build the bridge really care and are worthy enough to be praised and be your hero.? You see why it's also very hard to take you people seriously or conclude that your ways are not hateful, meanspirited and misguided? |
I have followed this dangerous trend over a year now, and it is not abetting. It is growing like wild fire everyday. In recent times the South-South people whose son lost the election have moved on except the criminal avengers who are fighting for their pockets only and destroying their environment. I have seen spirited and genuine efforts being made by the leaders of South-South to bring peace to the Niger Delta, and I heartily commend them for this. It is in their own interest.Awon abobaku... ![]() |
omenka:I saw their venom, hate, anger and attacks coming from a million miles away... ![]() Even sef, their hate and twisted mentality is not limited to other people. Any ibo man who reached out to other regions is evil and must be ostracized, ridiculed and insulted. Look at Okorocha in Imo, he's the most hated man in iboland. If Okorocha build bridge in Imo, they'll trash him, call him names and discount and discredit his achievements, but if obiano in anambra build the same bridge, thy shout and call him a hero, they'll label him the best president IN Nigeria. The level of hate in their heart is too deep to be lifted even with forklift ![]() |

[b]What is it with Ndigbo and greed? How long are we going to kill ourselves? Isn’t it a gargantuan shame that a tribe as populous as Ndigbo can’t provide a single individual that is seen to be credible enough to be elected president of Nigeria? A casual observation of the performances of the governors of the south eastern states will reveal their level of under-performance since 1999. Case point, take Aba which has failed to enjoy any meaningful development since the 1929 Aba women riot. The place is a total mess. What have the governors done with what has been accruing to the state in the last 16 years of democratic rule? The fact that these individuals who have mismanaged fortunes of the state consider themselves fit to even contest election is a slap on the faces of Ndigbo. Ndigbo, are we cursed? The red-cap goons known as Ohaneze do nothing but crawl from one place to another offering themselves for sale and for use. This has been their money-making scheme for too long and it can no longer hold water. Can’t we take a cue from the style Dangote adopted and made a kill? The Yoruba have already adopted it and it is working. We have to restrategise to become that economic power house we crave. The idea that every Igboman who makes money whether through his ingenuity or by accident becomes misguided and begins to push for political office even though they are clearly not professional politicians should be discarded.-Igbo leaders a disgrace - Etcetera writes That wasn't Mr Igbokwe, but their views are not too much apart.. |
woodcook:Give us the definition for hate. |
Kekeiyke:Yoruba people getting what they want out of Nigeria didn't happen by accident, it's because of their world view, societal culture and way of life that breeds pluralism, welcoming attitude, peace over destructive confrontation, pragmatism and strategic thinking. These are traits that ibo people wont adopt and have refused to adopt. Yoruba people wont refuse to reach out to other people for common good and things that benefits them and move them forward, but ibo people can not do that simply because they are not wired that way, they don't think and operate like that and even their parents and leaders don't teach togetherness, it's always a case of us against them. ibo people in Nigeria today won't mind working against their own interest if that interest is going to benefit their imagined enemies, they'd rather suffer than do what's best for them, their interest and future. Look at the last election and the situation of things in Nigeria today, they followed the PDP for 16 years and came up empty handed, even their 2nd NB remains a mirage, but they'd rather keep following the same empty and fruitless path with the same PDP. Look at the 2nd Niger bridge and the Lagos Calabar rail line in their backyard, when NASS gutted the budget for the bridge and the railway system, they supported the NASS, insulted the President and his party when in fact their anger should have been directed at the NASS, but they don't care about their own interest as long as they get to insult other people and their imagined enemies. You can not progress with this us against them by any means necessary attitude and when you refused to reach out and engage to protect your own interests, you marginalize yourself. Yoruba people or Hausa people can not make you or force you to change your ways, they can not make or force you to grow good and credible leaders capable enough to tell you the truth or make alliance with other regions in Nigeria needed to achieve your goals. The choice is yours and million Wole Soyinka can not do that for you. Mr Igbokwe is right and he's not saying anything new, you know it;s the truth because the rest of the world knows.. |
onepluone:lol.... funny ![]() |
[s] onepluone:[/s] You can not dictate to me what to discuss or what thread I contribute to, you don't run anything and can not direct discussion traffic on NL based on what you like or don't like.. Funny your kind is talking about hate when in fact all you do all day is spew hate and bigotry all over the place.. |
onepluone:According to your hateful map and geography.. ![]() |
woodcook:Hate as an act and definition is not violence and you don't have to kill or hurt people to display hate. Hate speech, utterances, ways, attitude and way of life breeds violence and not the other way around. look up the definition for hate before your next reply. |
RichYoungNigga:You are wrong. They didn't teach you in elementary school or they don't teach social studies in Nigeria? This is the problem with your problem, you know nothing about your own country because and your own history, instead of feeding you positive history about your tribe and the fact that Nigeria's 1st president was Igbo, they substituted that positive history and sense of pride with hate and bitterness. Igbo people have occupied every leadership office in Nigeria. We've had Igbo president We've had Igbo head of state We've had Igbo vice president, Igbo military administrators, governors, ambassadors, and so on... Get some education instead of ignorance and hate.. |
onepluone:This is a public forum where people exchange views and ideas, if you hate people duscussing anything about your precious tribe, start your own tribe forum and take your hateful people with you. |
woodcook:Joe said the same thing about your hateful ways last year, the year before last and so on, it is up to you to prove him wrong by stating exactly what you've gained by hating and spewing bigotry as a way of engagement with the rest of Nigeria, also explain what you've gained from your political association with the PDP since 1999. Fact is, you dwell too much on hate and bigotry that it's all you see and know, it's your only trading coin, it's what you've distracted yourself with and exactly why you are so out of the loop in Nigeria. Your hatred shed the first blood in Nigeria and destroyed our peaceful existence right from independence and it continues till today. And it's not only against hausa and Yoruba people, it's against other people beyond Nigeria even all the way in SA and this is why people can not stand you everywhere you go.. Joe is not saying anything new, hes basically repeating what we all know. Even Achebe hated and spewed hate till his last breath into his grave with his hate book. Change or remain doomed forever. |
blackpanda:When you are raised and baptized with hate, then you hate all your life because that's all you know, that's all your social and communal engagement with other people around you. The ones in this thread are going to pass down the same hate to their children just like their parents did to them, it's a vicious circle of eternal hate and bitter way of life... |
^^^^^^^ Here we go.... ![]() |
Last week the Vice of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Professor Yemi Osinbajo was in Afe Babalola University Ekiti State as Guest Speaker during the University’s Convocation ceremony. In the cause of his speech, he told his capacity audience the Niger Delta Avengers are not freedom fighters but those fighting for their pockets only. I saw the story on facebook and other sites on the internet. The one on Facebook caught my attention because of nearly 400 reactions as at the time I read it. I took mental note of the reactions and the names attached to it. 95% are Igbo names and they abused and called the Vice President unprintable names for speaking the truth. This is a shame. Ignorance should not be a virtue. Ignorance is a disease. Foolishness is a tragedy. This is ignorance stupid. This is mental darkness. A roaring lion kills no game. It is only a river that wants to get dried up that forgets its source. A Chinese proverb tells me that “He who blames others has a long way to go on his journey. He who blames himself is half way there. He who blames no one has arrived.”I'm sure you know your people.. You are about to get the same thing on NL.. 1 2 3 4 ipobs start attack... ![]() |
forray:What you saw after looking in the mirror.. Corrupt loser defending and supporting his corrupt uncles.. I know it's paining you because you are your uncles can not touch our money never never again.. |
[s] forray:[/s] You figured that out after looking in the mirror... These mentally corrupt people are mad and upset because the man said his uncles stole our money, but Instead of getting mad at the thieves, they are attacking the messenger.. And the joker is talking about morality? Talk about future thieves.. Wonders shall never end.. |
[s] forray:[/s] Not interested in your silly and pointless emotional outburst. The man had every right to extricate himself from a worthless, crooked, corrupt and incompetent political party and if he was corrupt, your PDP uncles with their control of the EFCC and law enforcement should have investigated him and locked him up if found guilty. You losers are just bitter and upset after the fact. Your uncles were soundly defeated and kicked out of office by Nigerians and they are never never coming back, deal with it or slit your wrist an get it over with. Funny when mentally crooked and corrupt people carrying water bottle for crooks and corrupt clowns spew morality when in fact they were busy shouting GEJ till 2019 while their PDP uncles were looting us dry.. Please STFU. |
jaxxy:Wat he said and I say is dat TINUBU shud help revitalize the nation with brilliant ideas and contribution to cause growth instead. Obj also... The country as it is now is Almost in limbo. No clear direction or blueprint. It's promises and fail over and again. The rookie minster of finance and CBN gov are no where to be found in d current situation. We clearly need so external force/input to change direction else we continue in thesame state![/quote]I see where you and the OP are coming from, but we have president, we have a cabinet and tons of advisers and I'm more than 100% sure that there's a private and dedicated communication channel between the president and Mr Tinubu in case he has any for of ideas or advice to offer the president.. Fact is, we don't need non elected public officials interfering needlessly unless delegated by the president to represent in a non official capacity. You can not in one breath deplore Godfatherism and in the next advocate for the same Godfatherism.. He's not there every day, but hate mongers and bigots still yell his name left and right as of he's responsible for their existence instead of their incompetent local leaders.. I don't agree with you about the finance minister, despite the challenges we are facing and the rotten mess she was saddled with, she loudly exceeded my expectations. The finance minister before her was worthless and grossly incompetent. The woman had no clue about our money, what we are making and not making. TSA didn't bother her and was off her radar hence us losing billions over the years Income generating government institutions were fleecing hus via padded budgets and not remitting our money into FG accounts The former finance minister looked the other way while the NNPC operated tons of different accounts and swindled billions way, the billions she should have been collecting and accounting for. Hundreds of thousands ghost workers were on government payroll, but she did nothing about it. It was under the former finance minister we started borrowing money to pay salaries even though we earned more money from oil than any government in the history of Nigeria under her. Dasuki ATM billions was given to Dasuki by the former finance minister who as the finance minister in charge of our money gave the money to Dasuki with zero strings attached, she abdicated her responsibility and allowed Dasuki to share our money woth crooks and corrupt government officials. No my friend, you are wrong, the current finance minister is not only doing a great job, she's a million times better than her predecessor who left us nothing but ugly financial mess, drained reserves and continued Dasuki gate revelations. We are even yet to rise from the mess she left us.. |
jaxxy:And my point is, the fact that he provided a different alternative for Nigerians means he's the president, he's a public official, he should be doing the job of the EFCC, dictating public policies? NO. Capital NO. Keeping Fayose, getting rid of Fayose or jailing Fayose is the responsibility of the people of Ekiti and the EFCC come 2018, not Tinubu meddling in what's really not his business. |
forray:1. The fact that he was part of the PDP doesn't change the fact that GEJ should have investigated, prosecute and jailed them all before and after defecting to the APC. 2. The fact that he was part of the PDP doesn't change the fact that the PDP was crooked, corrupt and incompetent and any right thinking human being should have quit the PDP just like he and others did when they did especially after the blatant and gross acts of electoral corruption when GEJ told Nigerians that 16 was greater than 19. Please go away if all you have is emotions and not facts to argue with.. |
forray:Speak for yourself because I'm 100% happy with this government especially the fact that your looting and stealing uncles are no longer looting and stealing our money and your corrupt uncles are confessing and returning our money.. |
