My PPR is here!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well, it is double celebration for me today. I clocked thirty today and IRCC decided to give me the best birthday gift ever. My joy knows no bound. My PR journey was smooth up until I got to IP2 and then it seemed like it got stuck. I became apprehensive when I was informed that my VO is London, the dreaded VO. I decided to order GCMS notes on the 1st of May when I read here that it sometimes trigger an action on the application. I noticed that my account status changed to updated on the 25th of May but I still didn't understand what was going on because my Review of document status also changed to 'We are reviewing your additional documents' I asked for help here and @happytbaby was kind enough to respond to me that I should expect PPR soon. And here we are today. Kindly see my timeline below: ITA - 20/9/17 AOR - 19/12/17 ADR - 08/01/18 ADR Submitted - 17/01/18 Medical Exam Passed - 17/01/18 IP1 - 18/01/18 NA1 - 01/02/18 IP2 - 02/03/18 Ghost Update - 25/5/18 PPR - 30/05/18 PS: 1. Family of Four 2. Hubby and I have travel history 3. I have been refused US Visa before 4. ADR - The date on my Marriage Certificate did not show so I was asked to rescan it I wish you all success throughout your PR journey and beyond. |

Hello House, I am a silent reader. I have been on IP2 since 2nd of March. I raised a CSE and realised that my VO is London. I requested for GCMS notes on the 1st of May and on the 25th of May, I got a ghost update on my account. After some hours it changed back to submitted and my "Review of Additional documents" changed from "Not Applicable" to "We are reviewing the additional documents you provided". Up till now, I have not received any request for additional document and I didn't submit any additional document either. I have checked my spam box several times just in case it went into my spam box. Elders in the house, please has anyone experienced this before? Could it be as a result of the GCMS note I requested for? Your kind response would be greatly appreciated. |
Congrats on your PPR. I also submitted my application on the 20th of December and I have been in IP2 for almost 2 months. I pray I receive the good news soon. Congrats once again. IP2 niobe77: |
Good morning everyone. Long post alert!!!!!!!!! I am a silent reader and I must really thank @Seun for creating Nairaland. I have really learned alot from it. Nairaland gave me all the tips I needed to birth my baby in USA, but for a reason I am yet to decipher, it did not occur to me to come on the forum to seek advice when I started my Canadian Express Entry hussle in 2017. Thankfully, I was able to pull through by going through the CIC website from top to bottom. I received ITA the same week I entered the pool. My progress post-ITA seemed normal till I got to IP2 (at least, I think that is the stage I am on, please correct me if I am wrong). I have been on IP2 since 2nd of March and it seems like a year already. See below my Timeline and a screenshot of my application status: ITA - 20/9/17 Application submitted - 19/12/17 Acknowledgement of Application - 19/12/17 Letter requesting for additional information - 08/01/18 Additional information submitted - 17/01/18 Medical Exam passed - 17/01/18 Review of additional document changed to 'Provided' and later changed to 'additional documents you provided are being reviewed' - 18/01/18 Background check changed to Not Applicable - 18/01/18 Review of additional documents changed to 'We do not need additional documents' - 01/02/18 Background check changed from NA to 'We are processing your background check' - 02/03/18 Elders in the house please am I in IP2? If yes, could there be a reason for the long wait or is it normal? I have sent mails to them on several occasions but I didn't get any response. I guess it's because my application is not up to 6 months yet. Who else has my kind of timeline? I need a shoulder to lean on. LOL This wait is not for the faint hearted. Congrats to all the PPR and ITA receivers. |
Hello Awesome people, I have been a silent reader for a while and I must confess that I have gained a lot from this forum. I started reading this thread around July last year and I eventually made up my mind to use Oakbend hospital. I have made a deposit to the hospital and I have correspondences with the doctor (Doctor Dama). I am due to travel first week in February. I have also learnt a lot about POE and with God by my side, I think I am well prepared. I intend to travel via Delta Airline, I have not bought my ticket because I am still trying to wait for their promo I just got an accommodation and would like to know if there's anyone interested in sharing a room with me. Just holla if you are interested. I would really like to hook up with Feb/March mums-to-be so that i can have a less boring stay in Houston. Regards |
