Phones › Governor Ambode Releases New App For Concerned Citizens by arinolaa(op): 9:21pm On Jan 30, 2017 |
https://i.imgur.com/Pl4FybR.jpgLagos State in conjunction with Lagos state Governor Akinwunmi Ambode, have launched an app that enables Lagos residents to communicate their concerns about issues within their respective communities. Olufemi Odubiyi, who serves as the state commissioner of Science and technology introduced the app at the Bagauda Kaltho Press Centre in Alausa on Thursday. During the press release, Odubiyi said, The launch of the web platform was another initiative of the Governor Akinwunmi Ambode-led administration aimed at bringing government closer to the people. The Citizens Gate (app) is an integrated web and mobile-based platform through which Lagos State’s citizens can lodge feedback to the State Government on various services provided, receive quick responses on services as well as interact with government officials via web and mobile phone. The platform is designed to promote communication and connectivity between citizens and government while it will also enable citizens to inform the government on problems and issues occurring in their areas, communities and beyond. Feel free to download the app via the Apple Store or Google's Play store. Do you have any thoughts, concerns or suggestions about the new app? Leave them below... source - http://techgirlng..co.uk/ |

https://i.imgur.com/6D8L5LW.pngRumour has it that Whatsapp could possibly allow users to edit messages they have sent in the near future. For now (and thanks to the new update in place) Whatsapp users can now queue messages while offline and send them once their handheld devices detect a single. Thanks to the latest update users are also now allowed to send up to 30 picture messages (and videos) at a time. Let us know what you think about the update by leaving a comment below. via Tech Girl NG - http://techgirlng..co.uk/ |

Programming › Re: Create Self-Signed Certificate by arinolaa(op): 12:05am On Dec 29, 2016 |
lordZOUGA: It is pretty straightforward. Read through this document (https://help.ubuntu.com/12.04/serverguide/certificates-and-security.html) First create certificate key and signing request with the code below. (You will be asked some questions when you run the second command)
openssl genrsa -out server.key 2048 openssl req -new -key server.key -out server.csr Then create your self-signed certificate with the following command (expires after 365 days):
openssl x509 -req -days 365 -in server.csr -signkey server.key -out server.crt This should put your certificate in a file named "server.crt" in the current directory. You should read that document linked above for best practices with certificates. Oga, the openssl x509 -req -days 365 -in server.csr -signkey server.key -out server.crt is not working |
