Another bad news? |
kill him, jail him , do whatever u wish with him. How does it concern me an Igbo man? Afterall he was the brain behind the betrayal of GEJ by pulling out of PDP with other governors. This might be nemesis. |
Amaechi will forever regret betraying and fighting his own people with those infidels. |
And these are the supposed Yoruba elders. Chai! |
Two of President Muhammadu Buhari's staunchest supporters Bamidele Ademola-Olateju and Farouk Kperogi ( columnists with Premium Times and Sahara Reporters) have published critical responses to the president's recent batch of appointments. Farouk Kperogi Speaks "I am a northern Muslim and feel "represented" in this government. But I want others to feel the same. Symbolism may be empty and tokenistic but it is consequential, especially in a deeply divided nation like ours. Buhari enjoys enormous goodwill across Nigeria's familiar fissures, and I am worried that he's frittering away this goodwill with what appears, at least for now, to be his lop-sided appointments. Of the 36 appointments he has made so far, 27 are from the north and only 9 are from the south. And don't give me that canard about competence and credibility. There are competent and credible people in every part of Nigeria if Buhari looks hard enough. Buhari may well pleasantly disappoint some of us his early critics after all his appointments have been made, but he is inflicting needless self-injury on himself to allow his administration to be defined as regionalist this early. Bamidele Ademola-Olateju "These all northern appointments don begin worry me. I'm getting disillusioned. It can only get worse from here. We did not work our buts off for nothing. This can get ugly quickly. The mouth we used to say good things can be used to say bad things o. I don talk my own please let no one tell me me to be patient. This is Nigeria where the fastest dog eats the fattest bone. All the femurs are picked already. Who wants phalanges? Ha! Both took to Facebook to express their opinions. |
Little wonder Fashola called him a pig few weeks ago. |
But y do the Northerners always use the yolubas as a tissue paper. |
I lost hope in Amaechi when he told Riverians that Bros Jona is not their brother but Buhari is. Greatest fool ever liveth. |
Even the Northern elders are not comfortable with Buhari's latest appointment which is obviously and visibly lopsided. Read what the president of Arewa Youths Consultative Forum, Alhaji Yerima Shettima, have to say about the appointment. Shettima said: “It is unfortunate the way the situation is, because one becomes worried. We must be seen to be nationalistic than being sectionalised. I am beginning to feel uncomfortable because the complaint is that the appointments are seen to be lopsided. I also do not think that is the intention of the government. However, no matter how we pretend, the reality is that things are not done in the right way.” He, however, said “the government should be seen to be more nationalistic than sectionalised. If we truly believe in true federalism and federal character, it should go round. We cannot say that a particular area has the best brains in the country. I think the government should look into that area thoroughly in as much as the President has good intentions.” Read what a Northern retired Commissioner of Police, Alhaji Abubakar Tsav said: “I see the appointments as lopsided. Nigeria is too big to have majority of the appointees from one section of the country. We have competent people in every part of Nigeria. For that reason, he (Buhari) should spread the appointments to every part of Nigeria. “If he (Buhari) is looking for honest people, there are honest people in every part of Nigeria, just as we have dishonest people in every part. Most Nigerians voted for him, even those who did not vote for him are his subjects and he is bound to carry every one along.” |

FACTS SAHARA REPORT AND APC WILL HIDE FROM YOU : Abdusalami, Kukah, others caution Buhari on anti-graft war. Members of the National Peace Committee for the 2015 General Elections led by a former Head of State, Gen. Abdusalami Abubakar (retd.), on Tuesday held a closed door meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari where they showed concern for the war against corruption under the present administration. The Catholic Bishop of Sokoto, Bishop Matthew Kukah who spoke with newsmen at the end of the meeting held inside the Presidential Villa, Abuja, noted, that since the country was no longer under military rule, every accused person should be presumed innocent until found guilty by competent courts. He revealed that the committee members prevailed on the president to ensure that his administration follows due process in its anti-corruption war. There have been reports that former President Goodluck Jonathan had complained to the committee on the way the present administration had allegedly been victimising some of his aides and ministers on allegations of corruption. Jonathan himself met with Buhari on Thursday evening on what many believed was on the same issue. Kukah told journalists “It (the way corruption war is being fought) is not heating up the polity. “In our conversation with President Jonathan and members of the parties, I don’t think any Nigerian is in favour of corruption or is against the President’s commitment to ensuring that we turn a new leaf. “I think what we are concerned about is the process. It is no longer a military regime and under our existing laws, everybody is innocent until proven guilty. Kukah said committee members at the meeting with Buhari gave update about the relevance of the committee itself and how members could help to nurture the peace God has given to the country. Read also: Why Jonathan visited Buhari He confirmed that members of the committee had met with Jonathan after meeting with some political parties. He claimed the meeting with Buhari was not at Jonathan’s instance, saying the parley was a continuation of a series of intervention aimed at getting feedbacks from the conduct of the last elections. Those who attended the meeting alongside Abubabakar, Buhari and Kukah included the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Sa’Ad Abubakar III; the President of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor; Primate of the Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion, Most Revd. Nicholas Okoh; Catholic Archbishop of Abuja, Cardinal John Onaiyekan; a former President of the Nigerian Bar Association, Mrs. Priscilla Kuye; Publisher of the Vanguard Newspapers, Chief Sam Amuka Pemu; National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun and Senator Ben Obi among others. |

I know it must be from that part of Nigeria. They can ugly sha! |
For me a President in this 21st century that does not know the meaning of "inclusive govt" is a dullard. Pls I didn't call Buhari a dullard oooo! |
As usual "no communication" I can't understand a single thing this man is saying. No wonder Obama abandoned him in US and left for Kenya. Seems he is reading His answers from a screen. |
Why requesting for PDP list? I taught we have agreed that PDP is totally corrupt and so we don't need any list. But we need the APC list because they have claimed to be the progressive, innocent, saints and incorruptible. Time to prove them wrong. |
1toRtoiSe1:Which Biafra? He has bin disowned a long time ago. Or u can call him APC Biafra |
I doubt if Buhari is aware nor endorsed this appointment. Afterall he is in far away US licking the feet of Obama. |
