Great espionage thriller movie about the defection of a Soviet ballistic nuclear submarine by it's Captain, Marko Ramius. Nice seeing Sean Connery and Alec Baldwin team up.

Nice movie but some of the sequences portraying US subs easily sneaking behind damn quiet and highly advanced Soviet subs raised a few chuckles. Really entertaining watch nonetheless and the naval warfare was a joy. Rarely one sees such naval battles these days except land and air warfare already over beaten in Hollywood.
